Definitions
- the invention relates to a plate heat exchanger from plate packs with a variety from under Formation of wavy channels and tubular channels embossed and / or corrugated stainless steel plates in which countercurrent heat transfer, flowing Media can be moved past each other, and the plate packs through pressure plates and between them transverse tie rod screws guided in screw sleeves are held together.
- Such plate heat exchangers serve two separate media with different temperatures to lead past each other.
- the media for example a hot gas and a colder coolant, are in the so-called cross countercurrent passed each other. Between the corrugated sheets and heat transfer takes place in the hollow walls instead of. Since streaming media can be quite aggressive and corrosion of the plate packs are they are made of stainless steel.
- the object of the present invention is the stainless steel content in the case of a plate heat exchanger described type to reduce the processing facilitate and ensure functional safety.
- the task is solved in that the wavy Channels on both sides through a hood and an end plate are covered, the corrugated channels belonging to each other Channels and the tubular channels in the area of the hood closed at the end by stainless steel comb plates are, the comb plates with comb bindings the face plates are welded, the plate packs on both sides with relatively thin stainless steel Side plates are sealed and the side plates held by pressure holding plates made of structural steel and are supported.
- the stainless steel parts serve only the actual corrosion protection, while the strength and stability tasks through so-called black material, that means structural steel like ST37, ST52, etc. are manufactured.
- the thin-walled Stainless steel plates with a wall thickness of approx. 0.8 mm existing plate packs are also thin-walled Stainless steel side plates welded into one unit. Because the pressure holding plates with this unit they are not welded but screwed together expand freely when exposed to heat. This allows very high temperature differences between both between the two media as well as between the medium and the environment.
- Such a plate heat exchanger can thereby be the same Functional reliability and corrosion resistance also for media with very high. Temperatures and temperature differences be used.
- the plate heat exchanger 10 shown in FIG. 1 consists of a variety of plate packs 11, such as they are indicated in FIG. 3.
- the plate packs 11 are held together by pressure holding plates 20, as shown in the lower parts of Figures 1 and 3 are.
- the plate packs 11 consist of embossed and / or corrugated plates, the wavy channels 31 and form tubular channels 32, as shown in FIG Are shown in detail.
- the wavy channels 31 are through a hood 14 and an end plate 15 covered.
- the end plate 15 is held in rectangular flanges 13, which in turn with a Rectangular lid 12 are connected.
- the rectangular lid 12 is provided with a pipe-side connection 35.
- the rectangular lid 12 consists of normal Mild steel and is thin on the inside Cover lining 16 made of stainless steel.
- the hood 14 is provided with a connecting flange 19 on the shaft side.
- the shaft side is in the area the hood 14 through a comb plate 17 from the tube side separated.
- the comb plates 17 are welded 18 in the area of a comb 33 with the welded free end of the end plate 15.
- the hood 14 is also welded to the end plate 15.
- the Comb plate 17 is made of stainless steel and is relatively thin executed against the face plate 15. It just points about 1/4 the thickness of the end plate 15.
- a vacuum can occur in the hoods 14; she are therefore, as shown in Figure 3, with inside Support tubes 38 reinforced.
- the support tubes 38 are in welds 39 connected with support tube reinforcement plates 37.
- the Support tube reinforcement plates 37 are the support tubes 38 held on the relatively thin side plates 22.
- the Side plates 22 are made of stainless steel and are, like the figure 3 shows in its lower part of the massive Pressure holding plates 20 held from a normal Structural steel exist.
- FIG. 5 further shows, are in front of the plate packs 11 extending screw sleeves 21 through the side plates 22 out.
- the screw sleeves 21 are at the ends with weld seams 26 with the relatively thin side plates 22 welded.
- the side plates 22 consist of Stainless steel and are practically just a cladding for the stronger pressure holding plates arranged behind 20, made of normal structural steel, so-called black material, are made.
- Tension bolts 23 are through the screw sleeves 21 led the opposing pressure plates 20 via nuts 24 against the side plates 22 or hold the plate packs 11. Support the nuts 24 itself over lugs 25 in the holes 36 of the pressure holding plates 20.
- the holes 36 have a larger diameter than the outside diameter the screw sleeves 21 corresponds to the pressure holding plates 20 of the welds 26 of the stainless steel side plates 22 to be kept free.
- FIGS. 6 and 7 show, are between the plate packs 11 and the rectangular flanges 13 lateral Deflection plates 27 and 29 are provided.
- the other free ends are in the area of the rectangular flange 13 freely in V-shaped deflection profiles 28 held.
- the baffles 27 are thereby with one end freely movable and can compress.
- the second, somewhat smaller baffles 29 are on held at one end by the comb-shaped plate packs 11. On the other hand, it is with a weld 30 connected with the same screw sleeves 21 the larger baffles 27.
