Abstract

Striker according to Claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the base (10) comprises a baseplate (12) which has an interior face (10a) such that, when the insert (20) is in place in the opening (16), the lugs (23) are engaged with the said interior face (10a) in the region of the edges (17) of the opening (16) which are sandwiched between the flange (24) and the lugs (23).
  4. Striker system comprising a striker according to any one of the preceding claims comprising at least one base (10) and an insert, characterized in that the said system comprises a series of inserts (20), each insert (20) of the said series being designed to be inserted in the opening (16) of the base (10) and having a slot (21) designed to accommodate the said locking member (4, 5), and in that each of the inserts (20) of the series of inserts has walls (22) the respective thicknesses of which are predetermined so that the median axis (26) of the slot (21) of the said insert (20) is offset from the median axis (27) of the said insert (20) by a predetermined distance which differs from that, and/or which is offset on a different side from that which corresponds to any other one of the inserts of the series.
  5. Striker system according to Claim 4, characterized in that it comprises, by way of accessories, a series of bases (10), each having an opening (16) designed to accommodate each insert (20), each base (10) having a respective external contour designed to be fixed in a groove (14), a slot, a cutting or the like in the front edge face of a casing (15).
  6. Striker system according to Claim 4 or 5, characterized in that it comprises, for each base (10), by way of accessories, a series of inserts (20) designed to be accommodated in the opening (16) of the base (10), each insert (20) having a respective slot (21) designed to accommodate a locking member (4, 5) chosen from a self-locking bolt, a dead bolt, a roller, the end of a rod or the like.
