Claims (4)

  1. Schaltmechanismus eines elektrischen Leistungsschalters mit Isolierstoffgehäuse (46), das ein Kontaktpaar aus einem feststehenden Kontakt (34) und einem bewegbaren Kontakt (36) enthält, wobei der genannte bewegbare Kontakt von einem Kontaktarm (12) getragen wird, der zwischen der Einschaltstellung und der Ausschaltstellung durch den Mechanismus (40) verschoben wird, und der genannte Mechanismus
    einen Schaltknebel (20) mit einem ersten Übertragungsmittel (22) zur Übertragung einer Stellungs- und/oder Steuerinformation,
    eine Mitnehmerscheibe (16) zur Mitführung eines Stützhebels (11) des Kontaktarms (12), welche Scheibe (16) zur Definition einer ersten Winkelverschiebung (α) drehbar auf einem Drehzapfen (14) gelagert ist,
    eine zwischen der Scheibe (16) und einer an den Schaltknebel (20) angekoppelten Stange (56) angeordnete, unterbrechbare mechanische Verbindung, welche Verbindung von einem Auslösehebel (18) angesteuert wird, der seinerseits von einem Auslöseorgan betätigt wird, um im Fehlerfall die Unterbrechung der mechanischen Verbindung und die daraus resultierende automatische Auslösung des Mechanismus (40) zu bewirken,
    sowie ein zweites am Auslösehebel (18) ausgebildetes Übertragungsmittel (24) zur Übertragung einer Energie- und/oder Steuerinformation umfaßt,
    dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Schwenkachse (42) des Kontaktarms (12) fest mit dem Gehäuse (46) verbunden ist und eine um ein bestimmtes Maß in bezug zum Drehzapfen (14) versetzt angeordnete, in der Scheibe (16) ausgebildete Öffnung (62) durchragt, und daß an der Scheibe (16) ein Mitnehmeranschlag (70) ausgebildet ist, der in einem ersten Abstand (R1) von der Achse (42) des Kontaktarms (12) und in einem zweiten Abstand (R2) vom Drehzapfen (14) angeordnet ist, wobei die Längendifferenz zwischen den beiden Abständen (R1, R2) einen erweiterten Öffnungswinkel (β)des Kontaktarms (12) ermöglicht, der größer ist als die Winkelverschiebung (α) der Scheibe (16).
  2. Schaltmechanismus nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die in der Scheibe (16) ausgebildete Öffnung (62) zur Durchführung der Achse (42) eine längliche Form aufweist, so daß auf den Kontaktarm (12) eine Hebelwirkung in Richtung der Trennstellung der Kontakte (34, 36) ausgeübt wird.
  3. Schaltmechanismus nach Anspruch 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die in der Scheibe (16) ausgebildete Öffnung (62) in einer bestimmten Richtung geneigt ist und so eine zusätzliche Scherwirkung ermöglicht, die eine Selbstreinigung der Kontakte erlaubt.
  4. Schaltmechanismus nach irgendeinem der Ansprüche 1 bis 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Drehzapfen (14) der Scheibe (16) zwischen der Schwenkachse (42) des Kontaktarms (12) und dem bewegbaren Kontakt (36) angeordnet ist und daß die Gelenkachse (48) des Auslösehebels (18) auf der Scheibe (16) angeordnet ist.
