Definitions

  • the present invention relates to the field of Biocides and in particular to a process for obtaining on an industrial scale a rodenticide substance of microbiological origin, which is useful for the control of harmful rodents, as well as with the substance obtained from of said procedure.
  • a rodenticide substance of microbiological origin which is useful for the control of harmful rodents, as well as with the substance obtained from of said procedure.
  • Prior Art Harmful rodents cause large economic losses throughout the world. Not only do they destroy crops, food and industrial reserves, but they are also carriers of infectious diseases.
  • Chemical methods are based on the use of baits that contain different types of poisons. Some of these products have an acute action (eg zinc phosphide, 1080 sodium monofluoroacetate), and cause death immediately after ingestion, however they are very toxic to non-white species, due to the high concentrations of non-toxic poisons. selective that are necessary to use.

  • This procedure allows to obtain a high titer of the pathogenic bacteria used, so that the high effectiveness of the finished product is guaranteed as well as the reduction of the time necessary for its preparation.
  • Another object of this application is the rodenticide composition obtained by this procedure, which presents high pathogenicity and virulence against murides, causing lethal epozooties.
