Abstract

Ein Schalter (10) zum Öffnen und/oder Schließen eines Stromkreises umfaßt ein temperaturabhängiges Schaltwerk (13), das in einem Gehäuse (12) untergebracht ist. Das Gehäuse (12) umfaßt ein elektrisch leitendes Unterteil (14) sowie ein dieses verschließendes, elektrisch leitendes Deckelteil (15), das gegenüber dem Unterteil (14) elektrisch isoliert ist. Das Schaltwerk (13) stellt in Abhängigkeit von seiner Temperatur eine elektrische Verbindung zwischen dem Deckelteil (15) und dem Unterteil (14) her, wobei der Stromkreis einerseits mit dem Deckelteil (15) und andererseits mit dem Unterteil (14) verbindbar ist. Innen an dem Gehäuse (12) ist zumindest ein Widerstand (31, 32, 33, 34) angeordnet, der in einer Schaltstellung des Schaltwerks (13) in Reihe mit diesem zwischen Deckelteil (15) und Unterteil (14) geschaltet ist.
