Description
Während des Bindevorgangs ist diese Erhebung zwangsläufig mit dem Dokumentenstapel in Kontakt, wobei jedoch - wie auch in den bereits zuvor zitierten Lösungen des Standes der Technik - der Bereich, in dem die Erhebung auf dem Dokumentenstapel aufsetzt, von der Dicke des Dokumentenstapels und folglich von der Winkelstellung zwischen klappbarem Deckel und Bindegerät abhängt.
Zur federnden Lagerung des Klemmelementes 4 sind vorzugsweise zu beiden Seiten der Schwenkachse Federelemente 11 vorgesehen, die die Klemmfläche 7 des Klemmelementes 4 gegen den Dokumentenstapel 10 und diesen gegen die rückwärtige Seitenfläche 3 der länglichen Öffnung 2 andrücken. Bei den Federelementen 11 handelt es sich vorzugsweise um Drahtfedern, die von beiden Seiten auf die Schwenkachse aufgesteckt werden.
Hierdurch wird die Heizplatte 13 bzw. die Grundfläche 8 einerseits vor Verschmutzungen geschützt; andererseits wir die Wärmeabfuhr von der Heizplatte unterbunden, wodurch sich die Aufheizphase der Heizplatte 13 bis zum Erreichen der für den nachfolgenden Bindevorgang erforderlichen Temperatur erheblich verkürzen läßt.
Eine alternative Lösung hierzu ist in Fig. 1a dargestellt. Das Klemmelement 4 ist hier nicht an der oberen Kante der Öffnung 2 festgemacht, sondern innerhalb der Öffnung 2.
Hier ersetzt also das Klemmelement 4 die vordere Seitenfläche 3 nur teilweise. Weiterhin ist in der Fig. 1a die Krümmung der dem Dokumentenstapel 10 zugewandten Oberfläche des Klemmelementes 4 zu sehen. Diese ist, wie bereits an vorhergehender Stelle beschrieben, derart ausgebildet, daß sie unabhängig von der Dicke des Dokumentenstapels 10 stets in einem zuvorbestimmenten Bereich des Dokumentenstapels 10 aufsetzt und ihn gegen die hintere Seitenfläche 3 der Öffnung 2 drückt. Dieser zuvorbestimmte Bereich - im dargestellten Fall ist er durch die Linie Y-Y gekennzeichnet - liegt vorzugsweise knapp oberhalb der Verbindung von Einbandrücken und transparenter Vorderseite des Einbandes.
In Fig. 2b ist die in Fig. 2a dargestellte Ausführungsform ohne Heizplatte 13 dargestellt.
Fig. 5b zeigt die in Fig. 5a dargestellte Ausführungsform als integralen Bestandteil der länglichen Öffnung 2.

Claims (11)
- Vorrichtung zum Positionieren eines Dokumentenstapels (10) während der Aufheiz- und/oder Abkühlphase in einem thermischen Bindegerät (1), wobei das Bindegerät (1) zur Aufnahme des Dokumentenstapels (10) an seiner Oberseite eine längliche Öffnung (2) aufweist, die sich ins Innere des thermischen Bindegerätes (1) hineinerstreckt und die aus einer Grundfläche (8), zwei Stirnflächen und aus mindestens einer Seitenfläche (3) besteht, wobei in der Öffnung (2) ein Klemmelement (4) angeordnet ist, das im Gebrauchszustand an dem Dokumentenstapel (10) anliegt und ihn gegen die Seitenfläche (3) der Öffnung (2) andrückt und das im Nicht-Gebrauchszustand die Grundplatte (8) der Öffnung (2) zumindest teilweise überdeckt.
dadurch gekennzeichnet,
daß das Klemmelement (4) eine zumindest teilweise gebogene Oberfläche (5) aufweist, wobei die Krümmung der Oberfläche (5) des Klemmelementes (4) derart ausgestaltet ist, daß die Klemmfläche (7) im wesentlichen unabhängig von der Dicke des Dokumentenstapels (10) stets in einem gewünschten Bereich (9) des Dokumentenstapels (10) anliegt. - Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 1,
dadurch gekennzeichnet,
daß das Klemmelement (4) mittels eines Schwenklagers (6) und eines Federelementes (11) an dem thermischen Bindegerät (1) befestigt ist. - Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 1 oder 2,
dadurch gekennzeichnet,
daß das Klemmelement (4) aus einem hitzebeständigen, elastischen Material gefertigt ist. - Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 1 oder 3,
dadurch gekennzeichnet,
daß eine Halterung (12) zur Aufnahme einer Heizplatte (13) vorgesehen ist, wobei die Heizplatte (13) die Grundfläche (8) der Öffnung (2) bildet, und daß das Klemmelement (4)/die Klemmelemente(4a, 4b) an dieser Halterung (12) befestigt ist bzw. sind. - Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 4,
dadurch gekennzeichnet,
daß das Klemmelement (4) aus zwei seitlich angeordneten Teilelementen (4a, 4b) besteht, die über ein Mittelteil (4c) miteinander verbunden sind. - Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 5,
dadurch gekennzeichnet,
daß das Mittelteil (4c) die seitlich angeordneten Teilelemente (4a, 4b) überdeckt. - Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 1 oder 5,
dadurch gekennzeichnet,
daß das Klemmelement (4) aus einem Drahtstück (14) besteht, dessen mittlerer Bereich (14c) mit dem thermischen Bindegerät (1) bzw. mit der Heizplatte (13) verbunden ist und dessen beide Endbereiche die Form von Drahtbügeln (14a, 14b) aufweisen. - Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 7,
dadurch gekennzeichnet,
daß die Enden (15a, 15b) der Drahtbügel (14a, 14b) frei sind. - Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 8,
dadurch gekennzeichnet,daß die Enden (15a, 15b) der Drahtbügel (14a, 14b) über eine Schiene (16) miteinander verbunden sind,daß die Schiene (16) in ihren Endbereichen Führungsnoppen (17) aufweist, die in entsprechenden Führungsnuten (18) von Halteelementen (20), die an den Stirnseiten (21) der Heizplatte (13) bzw. der Halterung (12) vorgesehen sind, gelagert sind. - Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 1 oder 4,
dadurch gekennzeichnet,
daß die Heizplatte (13) bzw. die Grundfläche (8) und zumindest eine der Seitenflächen (3) der länglichen Öffnung (2) um einen spitzen Winkel gegenüber der Waagerechten geneigt sind. - Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 10,
dadurch gekennzeichnet,
daß das Klemmelement (4) als zylindrischer Körper (19) ausgebildet ist, der vorzugsweise die gleiche Längenausdehnung aufweist wie die Heizplatte (13) bzw. die Grundfläche (8).
