Definitions
- the invention relates to a packaging container made of foldable packaging material, in particular cardboard, consisting of a base part and an upper cover part with Cover wall and two transverse tabs, the base part two each other has opposite pack walls, namely end walls, with folding flaps for Formation of inner folding units and outer cover flaps between each of which a gap is formed for inserting the plug-in tabs of the cover part is.
- Such a packaging container or folding box is known from DE-U-86 03 657.
- This known folding box is primarily about a quick on-site packaging in retail stores. The one-piece cut The packaging is folded by hand, with small tabs in the side Folds are introduced. This pack is due to the complex folding steps the production is not suitable for industrial production.
- a folding carton according to GB-A-1 035 573 is similarly formed.
- the container from a single blank, which forms a divided top wall.
- the It is mechanically difficult to thread side flaps of the cover wall parts into the folding position or not feasible.
- the invention has for its object a packaging container which is simple in construction to create the industrially producible and easy to handle at the place of use is.
- the opening of the packaging container should and should be made easier the handling of the resulting packaging material.
- a packaging container designed in this way can, in particular, be machine-packed be made because the cover part as a separate cut easily from above forth can be inserted into the folding position. Even when using the packaging removing the cover is made easier by simply pulling it off.
- FIGS. 1 to 19 Packaging consist of two parts, namely a lower one Base part 10 and an upper cover part 11. Both parts of the Packaging containers are made of relatively stiff, however foldable material, in particular cardboard, corrugated cardboard or similar.
- the packaging container is intended for the Picking up lumpy goods, especially for (cuboid) Single packs 12. These can be, for example Trade (vacuum) coffee packs.
- the individual packs 12 are formed into a pack group 13, the individual packs 12 stand close together, in one or more rows.
- the Package content, namely package group 13, is such a total cuboid block.
- the base part 10 is formed as a container open at the top a bottom wall 14 and all around, connected Pack walls.
- the Base part 10 are two opposite (longer) Side walls 15 and 16 are present and two are arranged transversely thereto End walls 17, 18. These partially consist of folding tabs, that completely or partially cover each other.
- the End walls 17, 18 are multilayered in some areas.
- the base part 10 open at the top is completely covered by the cover part 11 or partially closed.
- the cover 11 from an upper Cover wall 19 and from opposite, upright Plug-in tabs 20 and 21.
- the cover 11 thus receives one U-shaped cross section.
- the dimensions are preferably so chosen that the (rectangular) top wall 19 the basic dimensions corresponds to the packaging container, i.e. the upper open one Side of the base part 10 covers.
- the tabs 20, 21 have in the area of the connection with the top wall 19, its width.
- the Plug tabs 20, 21 are advantageously converging downwards Margins 22, 23 limited, so as down tapered tongues formed.
- Base part 10 and cover part 11 are when the packaging container is closed plugged into each other or connected to each other, that folds of the base part 10 through the cover part 11 in upright folded position are held.
- Folding flap of the Base part 10 in the present case in the area of the end walls 17, 18, are not by gluing, stapling or otherwise connected to each other, but lie together without connection.
- the plug tabs 20, 21 of the cover part 11 are positioned that they have the relevant side walls of the base part 10 - here the end walls 17, 18 - in the upright folded position fix.
- the cover part 11 is pulled upwards. Thereby the folds come free in the area of the end walls 17, 18.
- the Base part 10 is due to existing restoring forces or by external intervention in a flat, spread out starting position of the blank moved back.
- the package contents, Pack group 13 is now freely accessible the bottom wall 14.
- end walls 17, 18 made of internal folding flaps and an outer cover layer 24, 25.
- the latter extends the full height and width of the end walls 17, 18 with the exception of the example according to FIG. 7 and Fig. 8.
- the outer cover tabs 24, 25 extend adjacent to four upright packaging edges 26, 27, 28 and 29, from adjacent walls of the base part 10, namely the side walls 15, 16 are formed.
- folding flaps in the present case each from two folding units 30, 31.
- Each folding unit 30, 31 in turn consists of two folding tabs 32, 33 that are completely opposite each other or partially cover.
- Each of two folding flaps 32, 33 existing folding units 30, 31 are here in a common Level, each separated by a narrow slot 34.
- the folding tabs 32, 33 of each folding unit 30, 31 are geometric designed differently. In the embodiment according to 1 to 5 are the side walls 15, 16 and end walls 17, 18th formed with the same height, according to the content, so according to the height of the individual packs 12. At In this design, folding units 30, 31 result from matching, same-sized folding tabs 32, 33, the full area lie together.
- the folding tabs 32, 33 are each trapezoidal formed (Fig. 4) and along an oblique or Diagonally directed folding edge 35 connected to each other.
- the inner folding tabs 32 (lying against the package contents) are over the upright packaging edges 26 ... 29 each with the adjacent one Side wall 15, 16 connected.
- the outer, the cover cloth 24, 25 facing folding tabs 33 are each over an edge 36 connected to the associated cover tabs 24, 25.
- the tabs 20, 21 in one Gap 37 inserted between the outer cover tabs 24, 25th on the one hand and the folding units 30, 31 on the other hand is.
- the gap 37 extends over the full height of the end walls 17, 18. To avoid material constraints, however, extend the tabs 20, 21 inserted into this gap 37 only over a partial height, i.e. end with a clear distance from the bottom wall 14 (Fig. 3).
- the cover part 11 acts like a folded one Base part 10 holding together over its end walls 17, 18 Clip.
- the folds of the end walls 17, 18 cannot be opened as long as the tabs 20, 21 in the gap 37 inside the end walls 17, 18.
- the base part 10 consists of a blank, which as a detail is shown in Fig. 4 in the expanded state.
- the cut is provided with embossed fold lines according to the folding edges to be produced.
- the marginal edges 36 for delimitation the cover flap 24, 25 opposite the adjacent folding flap 33 are continued as fold line 38 in the area of the bottom wall 14 to form a folded edge between the bottom wall 14 and the adjacent side walls 15, 16.
- Folding tab 32, 33 is the roughly rectangular blank provided at the four corners with rectangular cutouts 40. These limit the trapezoidal folding tabs 32, 33.
- the cutouts 40 are dimensioned such that the folding tabs 32, 33 overlap in the area of the upright slot 34 opposite.
- the slot 34 is through upright tab edges 41, 42 limited.
- the exemplary embodiment according to FIGS. 6 to 10 differs of the embodiment described so far essentially in that the cut to save material (Fig. 9) for the base part 10 has smaller dimensions.
- the arrangement is such that parts of the end walls 17, 18 only over a portion of the total height of the packaging container or the pack group 13 extends.
- the outer Cover flaps 24, 25 have a lower construction height trained, end in the present case slightly above half the height of the packaging container. The inside, thus extend the folding tab 32 facing the package the full height of the packaging container and thus the Side walls 15, 16.
- the between the cover flaps 24, 25 and this Folding flaps 32 are folding flaps 33 - Like the cover flaps 24, 25 - with a lower height educated.
- the cover 11 corresponds essentially to that according to Fig. 1.
- the tabs 20, 21, however, have a greater height, such that they extend almost to the bottom wall 14 of the base part 10 extend (Fig. 8). Because of the construction described the gap 37 has a smaller height than that Embodiment of Fig. 1. Upper areas of the tabs 20, 21 are thus exposed and form with the upper areas the folding tab 32 a part of the end walls 17, 18.
- the tabs 20, 21 are designed so that they have a Part of the height with parallel and in the lower area with converging edges 22, 23 are formed (Fig. 10).
- the rectangular cut for the base part corresponds to the embodiment with regard to the arrangement of fold lines according to Fig. 4. But they are opposite each other Sides strips of material the width of the Cutouts 40 separated. This leads to different designs the folding flap 32, 33. The latter are clear here smaller and designed only as a triangular gusset.
- the Folding flaps 32 (inside) extend over the full Package height.
- FIGS. 12 to 15 Another alternative with reduced material costs for the base part 10 results from FIGS. 12 to 15.
- the inner parts of the end walls extend here 17, 18, namely the folding tab 32, only over a partial height, approximately over half the height of the packaging container.
- the folding tab 33 and the outer cover flaps 24, 25, however, extend over the full height. This is also the gap 37 for receiving the Plug tabs 20, 21 provided over the full height.
- the cover part 11 can be designed in the same way as in the Embodiment of FIG. 1st
- the side walls 15, 16 only over the partial height the packaging, i.e. at the same height as the folding tab 32.
- FIG. 14 A cut for a base part 10 designed in this way results from FIG. 14. Analogous to the blank according to FIG. 9 is parallel a strip of material has been removed from the side walls 15, 16, which results from the dimensions of the cutouts 40.
- the inner folding tabs 32 are triangular Gusset trained.
- the entire base part 10 here extends over a part of the package contents (Pack group 13).
- the side walls 15, 16 and the End walls 17, 18 are formed at the same height here. This leads to a regular cut for the base part 10 (Fig. 19).
- the folding tabs 32, 33 are coincident as equal sized triangular gussets formed that each other Cover completely in the folded position. The cut is geometric resulted from the fact that through the cutouts 40 limited edge areas of the blank omitted on all sides are.
- packing group 13 is in the range of End walls 17, 18 in the upper part exclusively by Plug tabs 20, 21 covered.
- the packaging shown in Figs. 20 and 21 also exists a lower base part 10 and an upper cover part 11, Base part 10 and cover part 11 of the packaging according to FIGS. 20, 21 are, however, in contrast to the exemplary embodiments according to Fig. 1 to 19 formed from a one-piece blank.
- the base part 10 of the packaging according to FIGS. 20, 21 is corresponding the base part 10 of the exemplary embodiment according to FIG. 1 trained to 5. It therefore has a bottom wall 14 and all around, interconnected packing walls.
- the base part 10 namely has two opposite one another Side walls 15, 16 and two arranged transversely thereto End walls 17, 18. These in turn consist partly of folding tabs, that completely or partially cover each other.
- the end walls 17, 18 are formed in multiple layers in some areas.
- the base part 10 is completely or partially covered by the cover 11 locked. 20, 21, the cover part 11 consists of two cover part areas 43, 44. Each cover part area 43, 44 has a top wall area 45, 46 and two opposite tabs 47, 48 and 49, 50.
- the cover part 10 accordingly consists of the mutually separate cover sections 43, 44 which are folded together State of packaging close base part 10. The dimensions are chosen such that a top wall formed from the top wall regions 45, 46 Dimension of the bottom wall 14 corresponds to the base part 10 completely closed.
- the width of the tabs 47, 48 and 49, 50 is the width of the top wall areas 45 and 46 of the cover part area 43 or 44 adjusted.
- the in folded State of packaging of butting tabs 47, 49 and 48, 50 accordingly have the width of the areas from the cover 43, 44 formed top wall or over the Width of the bottom wall 14.
- the tabs 47..50 have rounded corners 51. The rounded corners 51 facilitate this Insert the tabs 47..50 in the between the Folding units 30, 31 and the outer cover flaps 24, 25 formed gap 37.
- the base part 10 of the packaging according to FIGS. 20, 21 has the same basic structure as the base part of the embodiment 1 to 5.
- the end walls 17, 18 are therefore from inside folding flaps and the outer cover flaps 24, 25 formed.
- the outer cover tabs 24, 25 extend in turn adjacent to the four upright packaging edges 26..29.
- the folding flap facing the package is made analogous to the exemplary embodiment according to FIGS. 1 to 5 from the two Folding units 30, 31, which in turn each consist of two folding tabs 32, 33 exist.
- the folding units formed from the folding tabs 32, 33 30, 31 are in turn in a common plane and are separated from each other by the narrow slot 34.
- Regarding the details concerning the folding tabs 32, 33 can be referred to the above explanations.
- Base part 10 and cover part 11 are therefore from a common Blank formed.
- the folding tabs 32, 33 are again connected to each other by transverse folding edges 35.
- the Folding flap 33 and the cover flaps 24, 25 are each over the Edge edges 36 connected together.
- the marginal edges 36 for delimitation the cover flap 24, 25 opposite the adjacent folding flap 33 are fold lines 38 in the area of the bottom wall 14 continued.
- transverse fold lines are in the transverse direction 39 trained.
- the cutting area for the base part 10 has the right-angled cutouts 40.
- the upright rag edges 41, 42 delimit the slot 34.
- the top wall regions 45, 46 of the cover part regions 43, 44 of the Cover part 11 close laterally next to the side walls 15, 16 on.
- the top wall area 45 is adjacent to the side wall 16, the top wall area 46 adjacent to the side wall 15
- Side walls 15 and 16 and top wall areas 46 and 45 are delimited from each other by fold lines 52.
- Laterally next to the top wall areas 45, 46 and adjacent to the folding tabs 32 are the tabs 47..50 of the cover part areas 43, 44 arranged.
- the cutting areas of the folding tabs 32 and Plug-in tabs 47..50 are delimited from one another by separating cuts 53.
- the separating cuts 53 end in the area of the packaging edges 26..29 and go in the area of the side walls 15, 16 or Cover wall areas 46, 45 into the fold lines 52. hereby It is ensured that the tabs 47..50 in the by Folding tabs 32, 33 formed folds of the end walls 17, 18th are insertable.
