Definitions
- the invention relates to an electrical heating or heating element, in particular in the form of a ribbon, web or mat electrical heating or heating element, with provided therein electrical line arrangement and an associated Process for its production.
- Heating mats Large area electric heaters using Heating mats are, for example, from the magazine "Electricity utilization", Jg. 52 (1977), No. 3.
- This known heating mat comprises a resistance conductor with several wires, over which an insulating sleeve with permanent heat resistance is appropriate. About that there is a jacket made of heat-stabilizing PVC.
- This Heating circuits are made using a vacuum deep-drawing process Thermoplastic film covered. Thereby the heating conductors are fixed at the required intervals. There are heating mats with one or two sides PTC thermistor connections provided.
- Such heating mats can be used, for example, as floor or open space heating can be used.
- a trace heating of process pipelines with self-regulating Heating tapes is also from, for example Journal "3R international", vol. 24, issue 7, July 1985 known. It is a so-called self-regulating heating tape, which consists of a semiconducting There is a plastic band in which two run in parallel Copper strands are inserted at a distance of 5 to 15 mm. The semiconducting plastic is through a polyolefin or electrically isolated by a fluoropolymer. Depending on the area of application is the heating tape also with a metallic Protective braid and / or an additional plastic jacket Mistake. The semiconducting plastic tape forms the heating element. It consists of a graphite-filled, radiation crosslinked polyolefin, fluoropolymer or similar material.
- the object of the present invention is an electrical Heating or heating element and a method for its production to create, which in principle in different Size dimensions are designed flat can, and which is also technically simple can be produced.
- the heating element should be cheap electrical properties for use as heat and Have heating element.
- the electrical heating or heating element namely lies the at least one wire used in the form of a knitted fabric.
- Type and shape of this knitted fabric can be chosen completely differently. It is a manufacture for example on weaving, braiding or Rustling machines possible. They are also completely different Types of weave of stitches possible.
- the mesh electrical wire conductor with no insulating sheath is provided (so that the stitches can form electrical contact) in one shrinkable bandage or composite is incorporated.
- This additionally provided shrink-shaped composite material ensures that by the intended Shrinkage the individual wires i.e. the single ones Mesh wires are pressed together. This will make one certain extensive contacting of each wire-shaped Meshes guaranteed so that a largely regular current flow through this knitted fabric can be ensured (in the case of irregular Otherwise, wire arrangement could be in different places an annealing or burning of the wire due to excessive Amperages occur, whereas in other places the mesh-like wire may hardly be heated is because the resistance at the various points is otherwise irregular).
- a textile shrinkable Thread used as a mesh-like composite material.
- the heat or Heating element is in a preferred embodiment So from a knitted fabric in which at least one electrical Wire conductor, at least a textile shrinkable Thread knitted into a common composite knitwear, interwoven, interwoven, etc.
- the invention possible that in the form of a knitted Band manufactured electrical heating element in the Raw state has an ohmic value of 19 ⁇ / m.
- This value depending on the tension (stretch) in the width and length direction changed according to the desired requirements will.
- the ohmic value of the tape for example can be set to a value from 1 ⁇ / m to 50 ⁇ / m.
- the electrical heating element is then the corresponding resistance value (ohm value) stable and can no longer be changed (except the heating element is subjected to high mechanical stress, for example kinked etc.).
- the heating or heating element according to the invention stands out but by another completely surprising effect out.
- an electrical mesh Heating element has a resistance value of 2.4 ⁇ / m and becomes, for example, a two-meter-long band in two sections, each one meter long, in the longitudinal direction divided, the resistance value increases to, for example 3.7 ⁇ / m in each band.
- the electrical heating or heating element according to the invention can be operated with both high and low voltage be worked with direct or alternating current voltage can be.
- the knit binding on both sides is shown schematically shown by Figure 1, using the so-called first and second row A and B.
- About the needles 4 is each of the textile thread 3 and the conductor wire 5 in parallel and continuously involved.
- row A the rear needles 4 the so-called "catch 6" and on the front Needles the so-called "stitches 8" knitted.
- the tape coming from the knitting machine has a width from e.g. 7.5 cm. In the raw state it has an ohmic value of 19 ⁇ / m.
- the corresponding band-shaped electrical heating or heating element is carried out batchwise or continuously run a heating or shrinking furnace, which in the shown embodiment depending on the used Textile thread is heated to a temperature value, so that the textile thread can shrink. In the embodiment shown becomes a shrink temperature of 330 ° C chosen.
- Width of, for example, 7.5 cm electrical band-shaped heating element shrunk to a width of 5.5 cm.
- the heating element in the raw state depending on the strengths of the resistance wire and the textile thread is comparatively soft (similar to other textile fabrics too), on the other hand, has shrunk band-shaped heating or heating element a certain Stiffness, but it can still be bent, especially wound up into rolls.
- the shrinking process makes them mesh-like existing wires pressed together so that a multiple contact between the individual wire meshes to neighboring ones Wire mesh exists. Due to the shrinkage forces the wire mesh (which is the opposite of the textile Thread can not shrink) in a desired predefined Contact position held to each other. This is ensures that the touch of the wires is a certain Scheme and system follow to a comparatively regular one Current flow through the entire bandwidth to ensure in the current direction. This will also avoided that otherwise with an irregular wire arrangement with irregular contacts and wires with each other possibly due to excessive currents in some places cooling or burning of the Wire can take place, or that in other places Wire hardly warms up since the individual stitches are underneath May not be in contact with each other.
- the shrunk in the shown Embodiment band-shaped heating or heating element with a width of, for example, 5.5 cm (opposite a width of probably 7.5 cm before shrinking) Manufactured in any length and wound into rolls will. It can be cut in any suburb Length can be cut to length.
- the belt can also be used still in a protective cover shown in Figure 4, for example welded from PFT plastic material 9 are (in Figure 4 are those running in the longitudinal direction Ends of the narrow plastic sheet at 11 superimposed and in the longitudinal direction of the band-shaped electrical Heating element welded together).
- This plastic wrap also offers insulation protection for Applications in which a non-conductive insulating jacket is required. The welding with the insulating covering is preferably carried out before winding the band-shaped Heating and heating element to the final ready for sale Bales.
- the heating or heating element can be used both with Raw as well as operated with low voltage and thus heated will. Direct or alternating voltage can be applied will.
- the embodiment is in the case of a band-shaped Resistance element has been described. It can but just as large a sheet-like, especially mat-like Heating elements are manufactured. A limitation the size in the longitudinal or transverse direction is not given.
- the electrical heating or heating element in particular the band, web or mat-shaped or similarly formed electrical heating or heating element, which consists of a knitted fabric, is on the one hand using one or more wires and on the other hand using one or more textile threads 3 formed, as is apparent from the above embodiments.
- the heating or heating element according to the invention is characterized in that the textile thread 3 or the textile threads 3 consists or consist of a shrinkable material, and that the heating or heating element by shrinking the electrical resistance wire 5 or the electrical resistance wires 5 and the or the knitted fabric comprising 3 textile threads.
- Execution example possible areas Wire mesh diameter 0.12 mm any, as far as processable e.g. 0.01-1 mm (...
