Definitions
- the invention relates to a chimney pipe for chimney renovation from several pipe sections, which have a conically expanded end and a conically tapered end, each with the same cone angles, and which can be connected to one another by inserting the tapered end into the expanded end.
- a chimney pipe composed of several pipe sections is inserted into the chimney shaft from the upper end of the chimney and, if necessary, the space between the chimney pipe and an outer pipe also inserted into the chimney shaft is provided with insulating material.
- the plug connection between the conically widened end and the conically tapered end must on the one hand exert sufficient holding forces between adjacent pipe sections and must also be gas and condensate-tight.
- the conically widened end is widened in relation to the diameter of the pipe section, that is to say it has a larger diameter than the pipe section.
- the tapered end has smaller diameters than the pipe section.
- the object of the invention is to simplify the manufacture of the pipe sections and to achieve an exact formation of the cones.
- the conically tapered end is widened and has a larger diameter over its length than the pipe section. Then both the flared end and the tapered end can be practically made with the same tools. Because the widening of a pipe end can be done with greater precision, it is also ensured that the cone angles of the two ends are identical.
- the wall of the tube section in the transition area to the conically tapered end can have an outwardly directed step with round edges. It is also sufficient if the diameter of the front opening of the conically tapered end is equal to the diameter of the pipe section. Then the wall of the tube section in the transition area to the conically widened end can preferably have an outwardly directed step with round edges. This step can serve as a stop for the front edge of the conically tapered end.
- the conically widened end in the overlap region with an inserted conically tapered end has an outwardly extending circumferential bead.
- This bead serves as a capillary barrier or as a moisture collector for condensates, which cannot then penetrate to the insulating material surrounding the chimney pipe.
- the pipe section is preferably formed from a sheet metal strip, the abutting edges of which are welded to one another.
- An embodiment is preferred in which the tube section has a longitudinal weld seam extending in the axial direction.
- the chimney pipe shown in the drawing for the chimney renovation consists of several pipe sections connected by plug-in connection, of which only two pipe sections 1, 2 are shown.
- the pipe sections 1, 2 consist of stainless steel and are formed from a sheet metal strip which has been formed into a pipe section, its abutting edge being welded to a longitudinal weld seam extending in the axial direction. This is not shown in detail.
- Each pipe section 1 or 2 has a conically widened end 3 and a conically tapered end 4.
- the cone angles of the cones are identical and are approx. 0.5 ° to 2 °.
- the length of the conical ends 3, 4 or their degree of overlap with nested ends 3, 4 is at least 60 mm for pipe section diameters of up to 1,000 mm.
- the flared end 3 is widened relative to the pipe section 1 or 2. Its diameter is larger than the diameter of the pipe sections 1 and 2.
- the conically tapered end 4 is widened compared to the pipe sections 1 and 2 and has a larger diameter than the pipe sections 1 and 2 over its length.
- the diameter of the front opening 5 of the conically tapered end 4 is equal to the diameter of the Pipe section 1 or 2.
- the wall of the pipe section 1 or 2 in the transition area to the flared end 3 has an outwardly directed step 6 with round edges. This step 6 can serve as a stop for the front opening edge 7 of the conically tapered end 4.
- the wall of the pipe section 1 or 2 in the transition area to the conically tapered end 4 also has an outwardly directed step 8 with round edges. This stage 8 arises when the conically tapered end 4 is widened over the diameter of the pipe section 1 or 2.
- the conically widened end 3 in the overlap region with an inserted conically tapered end 4 has an outwardly extending circumferential bead 9 which serves as a capillary barrier or as a moisture collector and prevents condensates from entering into a not shown, the Insulation surrounding the chimney pipe penetrates.

Abstract
