Unter einem "Faserstrang der tabakverarbeitenden Industrie" ist in erster Linie ein endloser Strang aus Tabak aber auch aus Filtermaterial zu verstehen, der beim Beispiel eines Tabak- bzw. Diese Aufgabe wird erfindungsgemäß dadurch gelöst, daß dem im Übergabebereich dem Hüllmaterialstreifen eine im wesentlichen horizontale Streifenführung aufzwingenden Formatband der Saugstrangförderer mit einem im Strangaufbau- und Strangformungsbereich im wesentlichen horizontal verlaufenden Strangführungsabschnitt und einem im Übergabebereich in Förderrichtung gegen das Formatband geneigten Strangführungsabschnitt zugeordnet ist.
Es ist weiterhin von Vorteil, wenn der geneigte Strangführungsabschnitt den Faserstrang oberseitig und der horizontale Streifenführungsabschnitt des Formatbandes den Faserstrang unterseitig begrenzt. Auf diese Weise kann durch die von oben erfolgende trichterartige Verengung der Führungsabschnitte der Faserstrang gezielt auf den auf dem horizontalen unteren Führungsabschnitt in Querrichtung bereits konkav vorgeformten Hüllmaterialstreifen überführt und anschließend faltenfrei umhüllt werden.This object is achieved according to the invention in that the format belt of the suction strand conveyor with an essentially horizontal strip guide in the transfer area imposes an essentially horizontal strip guide, with a strand guide section running essentially horizontally in the strand construction and strand forming area and is assigned to a strand guide section inclined in the conveying direction in the conveying direction against the format belt.

In der Zeichnung ist mit 1 ein nur zum Teil dargestellter Schacht einer Zigarettenmaschine dargestellt, zwischen dessen Seitenwänden 2 Luft entsprechend den Pfeilen 3 nach oben strömt und dabei Tabakfasern 4 mitnimmt. Die Luft strömt durch einen als luftdurchlässiges Förderband ausgebildeten Saugstrangförderer 6 hindurch und gelangt in einem Strangaufbaubereich 7 durch Öffnungen 8 in einer stationären Führung 9, die als Lochboden ausgebildet ist, in eine Unterdruckkammer 11, die über eine Leitung 12 mit einer nicht dargestellten Unterdruckquelle, zum Beispiel der Saugseite eines Ventilators, in Verbindung steht. Der Saugstrangförderer 6 ist über Rollen 13, von denen nur eine dargestellt ist, geführt, von denen mindestens eine angetrieben ist, so daß der Saugstrangförderer 6 eine Bewegung in Richtung des Pfeils 14 ausführt. An seiner Unterseite sammeln sich im Strangaufbaubereich 7 über dem Schacht 1 die Tabakfasern 4 zu einem Tabakstrang 16 an, der in einem Strangformungsbereich 17 von einem bekannten Egalisator 18 in seiner Höhe egalisiert und einem bekannten Format 19 zugeführt wird. Dem Format 19 werden außerdem ein angetriebenes Formatband 21 und ein Zigarettenpapierstreifen 22 zugeführt, die über Umlenkrollen 23 bzw. 24 geführt sind. Der Zigarettenpapierstreifen 22 gelangt bei der Umlenkrolle 23 in einem Übergabebereich 26 des Tabakstranges 16 auf das über eine horizontale Streifenführung 27 geführte Formatband 21, worauf beide zum Format 19 gefördert werden.
Der im Strangaufbau- und Strangformungsbereich 7 bzw. 17 entlang eines horizontalen Strangführungsabschnitts 28 der Führung 9 bewegte Saugstrangförderer 6 wird im Übergabebereich 26 an einem gegen die horizontale Streifenführung 27 des Formatbandes 21 geneigten Strangführungsabschnitt 29 der Führung 9 entlangbewegt und führt dabei den egalisierten Tabakstrang 16 von oben her mit dem bereits im Bereich der horizontalen Streifenführung 27 in Querrichtung konkav vorgeformten Zigarettenpapierstreifen 22 zusammen.In the drawing, 1 shows a shaft of a cigarette machine, only partially shown, between the side walls 2 of which air flows upwards according to the
