- A receiver (1) according to Claim 1, characterised in that the bearing area (16) projects with an angle (A) of around 5 to 15° with respect to the horizontal, in the open state of the cover (6), at right angles with a top part of the vessel (2), such as a peripheral edge (5).
- A collection receiver (1), for example for waste, comprising: a collection vessel (2); a cover (6) movable between an open state for access to the inside of the vessel (2) and a closed state for substantially airtight closure of the vessel (2); a pivoting articulation (9) which connects the cover (6) to the vessel (2) and whose axis (X) lies roughly horizontal, when the receiver (1) is in a position of use; and means (11) of braking the cover (6) when passing from its open state to its closed state, characterised in that these braking means (11) comprise at least one spring (12) having a convolution (19), for example metallic, one end (14) of which, forming a straight part (18), is housed in an orifice in the cover (6), whilst its other end (15) is provided with a bearing area (16), projecting, for example substantially vertically in the open state of the cover (6), at right angles with a top part of the vessel (2), such as a peripheral edge (5), and intended to co-operate with a contact surface (17) of the vessel (2), provided at a distance radially from the axis (X) of the articulation (9); the convolution (19) of the spring (12) being wound over substantially one and a half turns along the axis (X) of the articulation (9), so as to make the spring (12) active at the end of closure travel of the cover (6) until close to the closed state or up to this state, whilst it is deactivated over the remainder of the travel of the cover (6), so that its pivoting is then free; the spring (12) being mounted with the convolution (19) between a part of the articulation (9) fixed to the cover (6) and a part of the receiver (1) in contact with the articulation (9), for example a handle (13) for handling the receiver (1).
- A receiver (1) according to Claim 3, characterised in that the bearing area (16) projects with an angle (A) of around 5 to 15° with respect to the vertical, in the open state of the cover (6), at right angles with a top part of the vessel (2), such as a peripheral edge (5).
- A receiver (1) according to any one of Claims 1 to 4, characterised in that damping studs (8) are interposed between the cover (6) and the edge (5) of the vessel (2), for example rigidly fixed to the top edge (5) of the vessel (2) opposite the cover (6).
- A receiver (1) according to any one of Claims 1 to 5, characterised in that the bearing area (16) is in the form of a loop.
