Abstract

A textile machine has a suction plant (1a, 1b) connected to stationary suction equipment (3) to remove fibres, particles and/or trash from the working section (A). A second flexible tubular suction duct (4) is connected at its fixed end to the suction plant (1a, 1b). Its free end (6) can be freely moved round the working area (A) to draw fly and trash into the suction plant. Also claimed is a method of using the above appts. Pref. the flexible hose (4) is connected to the filter housing (1) of a drawframe suction system which can have its own fan (11) or be operated from a central suction plant (14). Removal of the nozzle (6) from its holder (5) for manual cleaning of a stationary machine activates a switch to close off the suction to the stationary equipment (3) with a flap (10) so that the full capacity of the suction system is available to the hand nozzle (6).

Description

Sie betrifft auch ein Verfahren gemäß Anspruch 11.The invention relates to a suction device for cleaning machines and relates to a suction device according to the preamble of claim 1. It also relates to a method according to claim 11.

In known machines, in which material wastes or remnants originating from the processed raw material form during the processing of raw materials, such as sliver or fleece and the like, undesired contamination occurs in a working area of the machine. An excessive amount of such contaminants in the working area of the machine can adversely affect the operation of the machine or the resulting quality of the raw materials processed by it. Therefore, such machines are often provided with a machine-fixed suction system, which removes a large part of the lighter or smaller impurities or material waste resulting from the processing from the work area even during processing.

Mostly, however, the suction opening is arranged at a location of the work area that has as little impact as possible on the operation of the machine and is therefore unfavorable with regard to the suction power, so that problem areas are present in the work area that are not covered by the standard suction or at which the one generated by the suction Vacuum is too low for a sufficient cleaning effect. As a result, the work area of such machines must be periodically cleaned manually by the operating personnel to prevent excessive contamination in the problem areas of the work area of the machine.

In the known machines, compressed air is fed to the MascHine for this purpose, so that when the machine is switched off and a corresponding signal indicating the necessary cleaning or a necessary tool or workpiece change is given is issued by the machine and the operating personnel has opened the machine cover and thus has exposed the working area of the machine, the working area can be blown out with a compressed air gun for cleaning.

Here, however, the impurities or material wastes to be removed are blown evenly further into the machine or into the space surrounding the machine, for example a machine room, so that the load on the entire room with the undesired impurities and raw material residues increases, even if the specific area of the Machine appears clean.

The invention is therefore based on the object of providing machine cleaning which can clean problem areas of the working area of a machine without stressing the space surrounding the machine.

This object is solved with claim 1 or 11. It is characteristic of the solutions to work with suction air instead of compressed air.

According to the invention, the problem areas of the machine are sucked free and the contaminants are reliably removed from the machine by means of the second suction air line, which is permanently installed on the machine and connected to the stationary suction system of the machine and opens into the working area of the machine. The dirt can be filtered and disposed of without polluting the area around the machine. The existing suction system has a dual purpose; Costs can be saved.

The production or interior of the machine is kept clean and maintenance and cleaning intervals can be extended significantly.

It is also achieved that the air in the machine or production hall is kept clean due to the lower fiber, particle and particle load, which results in a lower overall health burden for the operating personnel of the machine.

Advantageous embodiments of the invention are specified in the dependent claims.

The invention is not limited to routes. It can also be used on cards, combing machines or similar machines.

Figur 1 zeigt in vereinfachter Darstellung Teile einer Absauganlage in Verbindung mit dem sauganschluß bzw. der Absaugvorrichtung an einer Strecke einer Spinnerei, um während des Streckvorgangs anfallende Fasern oder Faserreste abzusaugen.FIG. 1 shows a simplified representation of parts of an extraction system in connection with the suction connection or the extraction device on a stretch of a spinning mill, in order to extract fibers or fiber residues arising during the stretching process.

A filter or sieve 2 is arranged in a filter housing 1, which is designed, for example, as a filter box or encloses parts of a filter system. The filter 2 separates the filter housing 1 into an area 1a with air containing particles, fibers or particles, into which the air extracted from the work area A of the machine is introduced, and into a clean or exhaust air area located downstream on the back of the filter 2 1b. The filter 2 is of sufficiently fine-pored design to retain particles, fibers or particles of a predetermined size.

In the area 1a with air to be cleaned, a first suction air line 3 and a second suction air line 4 end in a wall of the filter housing 1. The first suction air line 3 ends stationary in the working area A of the machine. The second suction air line 4 is flexible, at least in sections Hose designed and comprises at its end opening in the working area A of the machine, a suction nozzle 6 with a suction opening.

A holding device 5 is used for locking the suction nozzle 6 and thus the second suction air line 4 near the machine during the time when the suction nozzle 6 is not required. The holding device 5 comprises a suction nozzle closure device 7, which ensures a reliable (essentially airtight) connection of the second air line 4 during the placement and locking of the suction nozzle 6.

A switching device 8 connected to the device 5, for example a switch or sensor, serves to switch between normal operation of the machine and manual or cleaning operation. For this purpose, the switching device 8 can be designed to be manually operable or to switch automatically when the suction nozzle 6 of the second suction air line 4 is removed from the holding device 5 and / or when the suction nozzle 6 is reinserted into the holding device 5.

The switchover is controlled by an electrical controller 9, which, in response to actuation of the switchover device 8, for example when the second suction air line 4 is removed from the locking device 5, has an exhaust air blocking device 10 arranged in the filter housing 1 near the mouth of the first suction air line 3 actuated to close the opening of the first (stationary) suction air line 3, while the opening of the second suction air line 4 remains open.

The suction air blocking device 10 can be designed as a flap or slide, an arrangement of which is possible both inside the filter housing 1 and within the first suction air line 3, for example in the form of a throttle valve.

In the filter housing 1 is on the rear side of the filter 2 a fan or blower 11 is arranged, which is set in rotation by a belt drive 12, 13 from the outside of the filter housing 1 and generates the vacuum required to extract the contaminants. The drive 12 can be designed as an electric motor, the operation of which is also controlled by means of the electronic control 9.

As an alternative to introducing the contaminated air into the filter housing 1, the machine can also be connected to a suction line 14 leading to a central suction system. In this case it can be provided that the first suction air line 3 continues into a filter housing 1 of the type described and is pre-filtered there, or is passed directly to the suction line 14 leading away from the machine while the filter housing 1 is omitted, while the second suction air line 4 directly opens into the suction line 14.

It can be provided that the suction air blocking device 10 is further arranged in the vicinity of the mouth of the first suction air line 3, the control of the suction air blocking device 10 advantageously remaining close to the machine and filtering and disposal of the exhaust air as a whole a central point of a production process remote from the machine.

Alternatively, if the central suction system has a sufficient negative pressure output, the suction air blocking device 10 can be dispensed with entirely, so that the first suction air line remains open and continuously suctioned, and the second suction line 4 is sealed off from the air when it is not in use only by means of a suitable design of the holding device 5.

Durch Ziehen am Ende 16 ist eine Verlängerung der zweiten Absaugluftleitung 4 so möglich, daß mit der Saugdüse 6 alle in Bediennähe vorhandenen Problemzonen der Strecke erreichbar sind.FIG. 2 shows a front view of a section with the additional suction connection 15, 16, the connection of the suction device to a central suction system 14 being shown. The suction line 14, into which the second suction air line 4 opens above the route, is indicated in a broken line. The second suction air line 4 is pivotally installed near the operator via a holding device 15 arranged on the machine. The second suction air line 4 is kept close at hand on its end 16 carrying the suction nozzle 6 with excess length on a variably extendable holder 17. By pulling the end 16, an extension of the second suction air line 4 is possible in such a way that all problem zones of the route that are close to the operator can be reached with the suction nozzle 6.

Figure 3 shows a visit to the route in which the suction line 14 and a possible course of the holding device 15 with the flexible suction air line 16 can be seen in a broken line.

According to the exemplary embodiment, a tubular suction line 4, 16 which is fixedly arranged on the machine is shown. According to the invention, however, it is sufficient if the machine is provided with a connection option for such a suction air line 4, 16, which is connected to the suction system of the machine. A suction hose can be connected to such a connection when cleaning the machine. This hose can be removed from the machine after cleaning and can be used to clean another machine.
