Definitions
- the invention relates to a ceramic beam for tunnel kiln kiln cars according to the preamble of claim 1.
- Known Brennwagen beams are rectangular or square hollow or Full ceramic profiles. From US-PS 4,300,881 are also roll-shaped bars with a tubular cylindrical cross section known. The bars serve as a crossbeam for the ceramic superstructure of the kiln car of firing stock, e.g. Cassettes with roof tiles to be burned. The bars of the kiln are each on their edge areas on ceramic Support on so that there is a bending stress of the ceramic material results. The lower area of the ceramic profile is pulled, the top stressed. However, since the compressive strength of ceramics is essential higher than the tensile strength, material fatigue can occur.
- the well-known full profile beams are relatively heavy, which is during the heating process of the kiln in a tunnel oven, in which a temperature prevails from 1000 to 1200 °, adversely affects the energy balance.
- Tubular beams avoid this disadvantage, but are because of their Hollow body shape statically weaker than a beam with a solid cross-section.
- Both with the known full profile beams and with the known ones ceramic tubes therefore only relatively small spans can be realized, so that a high Number of supports is required.
- the US-PS 1,832,818 the use of a plate with beams or integrated Support and reinforcement ribs known.
- this massive plate is because of their large volume in terms of heating the tunnel oven and the energy balance is much more disadvantageous than the known Brennwagen beams.
- the invention addresses the problem of a ceramic beam for tunnel kiln kiln cars to create that through improved static properties in terms of bending stress and a reduced weight and distinguishes a larger span.
- the ceramic beam By forming the ceramic beam as a solid support with in Side view of trapezoidal shape, sloping side surfaces and themselves to the center compared to the end areas reducing width of the top an improved shape against stresses caused by bending moments created.
- the forces that occur can become trapezoidal within the Distribute trained carrier, resulting in lower internal stresses and thus there is an increased flexural strength of the beam.
- the special shape of the bar results in material savings, so that less energy for heating the ceramic superstructure of the kiln is required as well as an enlarged span of the beams can be realized.
- a tunnel kiln kiln car shown schematically in FIG. 1 for the transport of firing goods like roof tiles through a tunnel kiln consists of one metallic chassis, not shown here, and a ceramic one Superstructure for the thermal insulation of the metallic chassis when driving through the kiln through the tunnel furnace and for taking the firing goods serves.
- the ceramic superstructure is provided with bars 1, the as a cross member, for example, for holding cassettes in which the fired goods are stored like roof tiles.
- the beams 1 of the kiln car lie at their end regions 2, 3 on ceramic longitudinal beams 4, which in turn are supported on ceramic supports 5.
- a first embodiment of the bar 1 is shown in more detail. It consists of an elongated carrier 6, which is a side view has a trapezoidal shape. The top 7 runs in a horizontal Level, while the bottom 8 forms the trapezoidal shape. Like Fig. 3 illustrates, the width of the upper side 7 compared to that Bottom 8 from the end regions 2, 3 to the center of the trapezoidal shape, so that the side surfaces 9 of the carrier 6 run as skewed planes. How from Fig. 4 shows, the carrier 6 is solid overall, which is has a positive effect on the distribution of forces and the use of the dry pressing process, enables.
- the carrier 6 Since the top 7 of the carrier 6 is subjected to pressure and the bottom 8 to train there is a zone in the middle where the compressive stress of the upper belt and the tension of the lower belt essentially compensate and above all shear stresses occur. It is therefore provided in this area the carrier 6 with material recesses 10 to be provided, whereby considerable material savings can be achieved, without reducing the bending strength of the beam. Overall, through the Trapezoidal shape and the upward tapering design of the carrier 6 and the recesses expediently formed as through holes 10 significant material savings (up to 40%) compared to the previous known solid or hollow profile beams can be achieved.
- the bar 1 is cuboid at its end regions 2, 3
- Approaches 11 provided to support the beam 1 on the longitudinal beam 4th serve the kiln. Through these approaches 11 at the end regions 2, 3 occurring shear forces can be better absorbed, so that a reduced material stress on the beam 1 results.
- the embodiment described is also simple in terms of production technology and inexpensive to manufacture.
