Definitions

  • the invention relates to a method for producing a Pillow, a blanket or the like, according to the preamble of Claim 1, a filling cartridge suitable for carrying out the method, a process for the production of the filling cartridge and an envelope suitable for carrying out the method.
  • Pillows, blankets, or the like have so far been produced by that with the producer or the dealer a case with a certain amount of filling material and filled the envelope is then closed before the finished object to the Trade or to the end customer. At least the end customer always gets a fully filled item, like a Pillows, e.g. Pillows, a blanket, e.g. a duvet or similar.
  • the essentially closed envelopes have often openable and reclosable Filler opening.
  • a company filling machine Lorch uses a balanced amount of filler is blown into the cushion cover after this, if necessary was still cleaned. When blowing in the previously weighed The amount of filler material often remains in part of the filler material the filling machine and its individual organs. This Filling material must be refilled by hand.
  • the filling material is usually lumpy. Therefore, the filling material in the filled pillow or in the filled blanket can still be loosened.
  • the finished pillows, blankets or the like have a relatively large volume, because in addition to the filling material there is also a lot of air.
  • Pillows packaged in this way are difficult to sell and so are you Content needs to be loosened before use. Also the cover is crumpled when the pillow is pressed together.
  • the end customer depends on it Purchase pillows with a specified filling level. A and the same size of a pillow with different fill levels Filling increases the storage at the producer and in the trade essential.
  • the invention is based, in particular the task To give end customers the opportunity to own a pillow, one Manufacture blanket or the like according to his wishes. In addition, the transport volume of the item be reduced as much as possible.
  • the filling is compressed for the purpose of transportation. This allows the end user to do what he wants combine a shell with a certain filling quantity.
  • the cover e.g. have a zipper can.
  • the aggregates are under one in the filling cartridge much greater pressure than in the shell into which it is inserted be filled. This can result in the cartridge being opened due to the high pressure in the filling cartridge Aggregates, at least in part, expanding themselves into the cushion cover to fill.
  • the filled envelope will according to a preferred method step after closing the Envelope opening, especially with distribution of the aggregates in the shell, shaken or tapped.
  • shaking and / or tapping of the filled casing can also occur when the casing is still clenched Aggregates an optimal distribution of the filling can be achieved in the envelope.
  • Fiber aggregates made of spatially arranged fibers are used, which are preferably spherically or tangled together are. Feathers, down and foam sticks can also be used and mixtures of some or all four types of aggregates be used.
  • a product cartridge suitable for carrying out the process for filling a casing with aggregates, in particular fiber aggregates, which is filled with the aggregates has a volume on which is one third to one thirtieth of the volume corresponds to the loose, uncovered or packaged fiber aggregates.
  • the filling cartridge preferably has a volume on one fifth to one twentieth of the loose not encased aggregates.
  • the product cartridge filled with the units accordingly points a volume that is half to one twentieth corresponds to the volume of the envelope.
  • the product cartridge advantageously consists of a its two longitudinal ends of closed hose, at least with one end, but if possible completely in the open Cover can be pushed.
  • the one that forms the filling cartridge Hose can be made of plastic.
  • the product cartridge expediently has a predetermined breaking point on, which after slight opening by the pressure the aggregates themselves open further and the aggregates expand allows. If the hose is then e.g. by means of a knife from one end of the same towards the other End too, and thus towards the opening of the envelope the pillow, the blanket or the like slit, so expanded the product from the product cartridge into the casing.
  • the filling cartridge has an elongated shape, preferably the shape of a circular cylinder, on.
  • a cover suitable for carrying out the method such as a cushion cover, Ceiling cover, or the like, preferably has one closable opening, especially a zipper, which the user of the pillow after doing the same by means of the the filling cartridge has filled expanded fiber aggregates, can close.
  • the weighed quantity of aggregates is poured loosely and loosely into a measuring cylinder, whereby the aggregates should not agglomerate when introduced.
  • a flat plate with an outer diameter that is slightly smaller than the inner diameter of the measuring cylinder is placed on the filled aggregates.
  • the mass of the plate is such that it exerts a pressure of 0.1 cN / cm 2 on the column of aggregates.
  • the volume of the filling is dimensioned in relation to the geometry of the measuring cylinder so that the height of the loaded column made up of aggregates is at least one third of the inside diameter of the measuring cylinder.
  • the filling level of the aggregates is determined from which this results filled volume of the aggregates results.
  • the quotient of weight of the aggregates and volumes of the aggregates gives the density of the loose aggregates.
  • the cover is made with small styrofoam balls bulging, whereupon the volume of this amount of styrofoam balls is measured in a measuring cylinder.
  • Styrofoam balls used which have a diameter between 2 mm and 4 mm.
  • Analog is used for determining the density of the aggregates in proceeded to the filling cartridge; here, too, using polystyrene balls determines the volume of the filling cartridge, always of an equal amount of aggregates, i.e. the same Weight is assumed.
  • fiber aggregates with a total weight of Filled 450 g.
  • These fiber aggregates are loose a density of about 12 g / l, i.e. they have a volume of 37.5 l. Put this amount of 450 g fiber aggregates in a cartridge pressed with a compression ratio of 1:20, then the volume is reduced from 37.5 l to approx. 1.9 l.
  • the density in the filling cartridge is then 240 g / l.
  • the fiber aggregates in the casing can relax again and fill the envelope completely.
  • the density is e.g. 18th g / l, so it is one compared to the loose fiber aggregates Compression factor of 1: 1.5.
  • the inventory in retail is smaller can be held because the pillow size desired by the customer and filling quantity is put together by the customer and not by Pillow maker.
  • an elongated one is used plastic hose open at one end over one end pushed a filling tube.
  • the outer diameter corresponds to this this tube about the diameter of the hose, so that the hose sits tightly on the pipe.
  • the desired amount of units e.g. Fiber aggregates filled and inserted into the tube by means of a
  • the units are stamped into the tube. This so glides against a resistance acting on its free end far from the filling pipe until the pressure on the units End of the stamp was pushed out of the tube.
  • the previously open end of the hose is closed, what e.g. by means of a band or by welding the Hose can be done. The protruding end, if any the hose is removed.
  • a Filling cartridge with one required for this sleeve size minimal filling quantity inside the casing at the opening be arranged opposite end, the rest of the envelope around the already wrapped product cartridge is wrapped around. This protects the cartridge better during transport.
  • the Product cartridge can be of different thicknesses Be made of plastic film material. Shows the contents in the cartridge has a volume which is about a third of the Volume of the unpackaged and uncompressed product corresponds, the film material used can have a thickness of 20 ⁇ m. Because with a larger compression ratio Pressure in the cartridge is significantly greater, the film material must then also be thicker. With a compression ratio 1:10 then the thickness is about 80 microns. The thickness depends naturally also on the type of film material.
