Unter Bezug auf die Figuren 1 bis 4 umfaßt die zur Durchführung des Schneidverfahrens verwendete Vorrichtung einen festen Unterbau 1, an dessen äußeren Enden zwei Stützböcke 2 angeordnet sind. Claims (13)

Verfahren zum Schneiden von mit Verstärkungseinlagen versehenen Bändern, insbesondere zum Schneiden von Förderbändern aus einem armierten Elastomer, bei dem das Band zwischen zwei Klemmbacken angeordnet wird, und zur Durchführung des Schnittes die Klemmbacken mit dem dazwischen angeordneten Band gegeneinander gepreßt werden, und zugleich ein Messer mittels eines Antriebes entlang der Klemmbacken und quer zur Bandlängsrichtung durch das Bandmaterial hindurchgeführt wird,
dadurch gekennzeichnet,
daß das Bandmaterial während des Schnittes beidseitig von Schneidkanten des Messers erfaßt wird, die zwischen sich einen spitzen Winkel bilden und jeweils gerade oder zu dem Band hin konvex gebogen geformt sind.
