    Claims (11)

    1. Modular platform board, constituted by the weldless connection of two support members (1), an assembly of base elements (2) and two end cross-bars (3), the support members (1) being constituted by structural sections, each of which comprises a lateral profile section (4) which receives the lateral ends (5) of the base elements (2), characterised in that the end cross-bars (3) are fixed at the end of the support members (1) by at least one fixing point to each support member (1) ensuring the cohesion of the assembly.
    2. Board according to claim 1, characterised in that the lateral profile section (4) of each support member (1) has at least one projecting portion (13) which is inserted into at least one corresponding recess (14) of the base elements (2) causing the base elements (2) to contribute to the transverse rigidity of the platform.
    3. Board according to claim 1 or claim 2, characterised in that the end cross-bars (3) are arranged in order to lock the base elements (2) in the lateral profile sections (4) of the support members (1) at each end of the platform or of the platform module.
    4. Board according to any one of claims 1 to 3, characterised in that each support member structural section (1) comprises at least one rectilinear longitudinal hollow lateral profile section (6, 7) which is used as a housing for an element connecting the support member (1) to other elements of the platform and which enhances the strength of the support member (1).
    5. Board according to claim 4, characterised in that the element for connecting each support member (1) to the end cross-bars (3) is a connection such as a rod or a cable, whose locking at each of the ends thereof allows a prestressing effect to be applied to the support member (1).
    6. Board according to claim 4 or claim 5, characterised in that the connection element (10) housed in the lateral profile section (6, 7) of the support member (1) connects the support member (1) directly to the corresponding end cross-bar (3).
    7. Board according to any one of claims 1 to 6, characterised in that each end cross-bar (3) is used to connect each support member (1) to the corresponding limb (17) of a guard rail (16) located on the corresponding side of the support member (1).
    8. Board according to any one of claims 1 to 7, characterised in that each end cross-bar (3) is U-shaped and each branch of the U is connected to at least one of the lateral elements of the board, such as the support members (1) or guard rails (16).
    9. Board according to any one of claims 1 to 8, characterised in that at least one of the end cross-bars is extended upwards in order to form a hanging clip of the platform or a connecting clip for the platform modules.
    10. Board according to any one of claims 1 to 9, characterised in that the structural sections of the support members (1) comprise, at their upper portion, a coupling profile section (18) which co-operates with a corresponding coupling profile section (19) of the lower hand rail (20) of a guard rail (16), whose end limbs (17) are fixed to the corresponding branches of the end cross-bars (3).
    11. Board according to any one of claims 4 to 10, characterised in that the longitudinal profile sections (6, 7) of the support members (1) are arranged at the side of the support member (1) that is external relative to the platform and have a portion in the form of a slide (21) which allows insertion, by sliding between those two profile sections (6, 7), of a plate which carries indicia or is used as a support for accessories.
