Abstract

The invention relates to a barrier and to a scaffolding which permit an optimal and rapid positioning of various safety elements. The lower wing comprises, in this example, a clipping member 52 box-shaped, the bottom, horizontal or inclined, has one or more orifices 46 for receiving one of the fixing members 43 of the housing 42 of the net. The member 52 could be replaced by another profile of the lower wing of the part 49. This part allows rapid fixing of the net on different types of platforms. If necessary, to fix a net located above the platform, one can use the part 49 in the inverted position, or provide a similar part having orifices 46 on both sides of the platform.

Claims

1. Barrier for scaffolding, comprising a metal frame arranged in a vertical plane and provided with fastening members to the uprights of the scaffolding, to be placed near an edge of a platform, characterized in that the frame metallic comprises a lower longitudinal element forming a safety plinth (12) incorporated into the barrier (10).

2. Barrier according to claim 1, characterized in that the plinth (12) comprises a metal profile in folded sheet.

3. Barrier according to claim 2, characterized in that said profile has a flat vertical face (16) on the side of the platform.

4. Barrier according to claim 1, characterized in that it comprises a trellis (14) surrounded by the frame (11 to 13) and fixed to the frame around its periphery.

5. Barrier according to claim 1, characterized in that it comprises a movable protective net (20) and a housing (22) arranged to contain this net in a storage position.

6. Barrier according to claim 5, characterized in that the protective net (20) is mounted on a reel (21) in said housing.

7. Barrier according to claim 5 or 6, characterized in that the housing (22) of the net is located in an upper longitudinal profile (11) of the metal frame.

8. Modular metal scaffolding comprising at least two pairs of uprights (1), at least one platform (2, 32) mounted on these two pairs of uprights and disposed between them, and at least one barrier (10) according to claim 1, this barrier being arranged along an edge of the platform.

9. Scaffolding according to claim 8, characterized in that it comprises a mobile protective net (30), mounted on the platform (32), and in that the platform comprises, along one of its edges, a housing (33) arranged to contain this net in a storage position.

10. Scaffolding according to claim 9, characterized in that the protective net (30) is mounted on a reel (31) in said housing.

11. Scaffolding according to claim 8, characterized in that it comprises a removable protective net (40) provided with a casing (42) with reel and an edge external to this casing, said edge and the casing being provided quick fixing members (43) arranged to engage by hooking in corresponding orifices (46) formed in elements of the platforms (2) and / or in the barriers (10).

12. Scaffolding according to claim 11, characterized in that it comprises at least one adaptation piece (49) nestable laterally on an edge of a platform (2) and having at least one orifice (46) for the 'attachment of a quick fixing member (43) of the net.
