Description

The invention relates to a device for stair renovation after Preamble of protection claim 1.

From DE-U-93 15 339 is a device for the renovation of stairs severely worn or damaged tread edges known. To renovate the Stairs become a new step on top of the old step applied, the front edge of which is flush with the vertical front of the old one Completes step. The vertical long leg of a substantially L-shaped Contra-angle is with the front of the old step screwed. The short horizontal leg of the contra-angle shows on it Underside of a longitudinal groove in which a tongue on the front of the contra-angle covering front panel engages. Furthermore, the vertical leg of the elbow on a tongue that fits in a groove the front panel sits. In extension of the short leg of the contra-angle an inward facing approach is provided that traces the leading edge of the overlaps a new step.

The disadvantage is that in the elbow of the known device for Stair renovation only prefabricated with an appropriate profile, i.e. Insert front panels with a tongue or groove to let.

The cladding element consists of essentially of an upper element and a lower element. The two Elements can be plugged into each other and take one on the front of the running board Front panel on.

The disadvantage is the difficult handling and assembly of the device, since the Front panel can easily fall out during assembly.

The invention has for its object a device for Stair renovation of the type specified in the preamble of protection claim 1 to create the front panel from a strip with a rectangular shape Cross section can be cut and used in a simple manner leaves.

Die Lösung der Aufgabe erfolgt erfindungsgemäß mit den Merkmalen des Patentanspruchs 1.The object is achieved according to the invention with the features of Claim 1.

The device for stair renovation according to the invention has two Profile rails on. The first profile rail is with the front of the old one Screwed stair step while the second profile rail fits into the first profile rail is inserted. The front panel is from the thighs edged both rails, which the panel on their top and Spread over the bottom.

The rails of the device according to the invention can be on site without special tools are put together. The lower leg and the longitudinal groove of the first rail together with the longitudinal groove and the upper edge of the second rail a kind Snap connection, the second rail together with the Front panel can be inserted into the first profile rail.

Since the front panel is held by the two rails, separate connecting means on the front panel do not need to be designed his. The front panel can be easily made from a wooden, plastic or cut a metal strip with a rectangular cross-section. You can out cut to the same material as the old one Stair step is occupied. This ensures that the front panel is optimal is adapted to the new step. Only the upper leg remains visible the first profile rail.

The rails of the device according to the invention are preferably made made of aluminium. But plastic profile rails can also be used Find. The assembly of the device according to the invention is very simple that it can also be done by do-it-yourselfers.

The first profile rail can be directly with the front of the old step be screwed. The renovation of very worn stairs will simplified by a separate contra-angle handpiece that connects to the old step is postponed. When using the contra-angle, the Leading edge of the old step not to be sawed off to a right Get angle. Furthermore, the leveling is not leveled required. The elbow grips the front edge of the old step preferably over its entire width, so that the weight when Enter the stage distributed. Because not only the middle area of the step is the known "creak" after the renovation of the stairs eliminated.

The elbow not only overlaps the top, but also that Bottom of the step, so that the new step below the horizontal lower leg of the elbow can be pressed and fixed. The new In this way, the control stage also supports and stabilizes the Substructure.

Because the first profile rail at any height to the elbow can be used, it is possible to use the old step with materials of different strengths. For example, Wood / parquet, PVC, tiles or laminate can be used. The Height adjustment also allows the transition from the renovated staircase to areas that have already been laid, e.g. an elegant finish on pedestals or To create apartment crossings.

At the upper edge of the second profile rail is advantageously an after externally facing approach provided in the assembly of the device in the longitudinal groove of the upper provided on the first profile rail Legs can be used appropriately. This approach spills over Top edge of the front panel so that it is fixed in the second profile rail which is in turn connected to the first profile rail. Since the The front panel is held in the second profile rail by clamping Front panel when inserting the second profile rail into the first profile rail do not fall out, which simplifies assembly. For safe Fixing the front panel is on the leg of the second front panel in a preferred embodiment of the invention still a projecting Molded approach, which engages behind the front panel.

The lower leg of the first profile rail advantageously has on it Top and / or bottom of longitudinal ribs. The ribs engage corresponding groove-shaped depressions on the side surfaces of the second rail provided groove are formed. When putting on the the second rail, the leg of the first rail snaps into the groove the second rail, so that the second rail only with greater force can be released from the first profile rail.

The top of the upper leg and / or the neck of the first Profile rails are preferably provided with an anti-slip profile. This can be formed by longitudinal grooves. Alternatively, the Thigh and / or the neck also with an anti-slip coating be provided to increase safety when climbing stairs.

The first profile rail 8 also has a short edge on its lower edge lower leg 13 on the right angle from the vertical leg the rail protrudes outwards. The width of the lower leg 13 corresponds approximately to the width of the longitudinal groove 11 on the underside of the upper leg 9. The lower leg 13 is on its top and bottom provided with longitudinal ribs 14.

The first profile rail 8 is fixed together with the angle piece 1 with the Front of the step 6 screwed so that the upper extension 12 of the Profile rail 8 rests flush on the new step 7. In the In an exploded view, the screws are provided with the reference number 15.

To cover the front of the first profile rail 8 is a second Aluminum profile rail 16 is provided, which has a front panel 17 in the form a flat bar with a rectangular cross-section from the same Material like the new step 7 fits appropriately. The top of the vertical leg 18 of the second rail 16 is with an outward projecting approach 19 provided at its top and its End face is rounded (Fig. 4). The second profile rail 16 also has a lower outward leg 20 which in one arcuate upward approach 21 merges. Under training a longitudinal groove 22 is on the lower leg 20 an inward Pointing approach 23 is provided, which is substantially at right angles extends to the long leg 18 of the profile rail 16 and the vertical Leg 18 of the profile rail 16 slightly protrudes inwards. The top of the inward projection 23 and the top of the lower leg 20 are provided with longitudinal groove-shaped depressions 24 which in their Form the provided on the lower leg 13 of the first rail 8 longitudinal ribs 14 correspond (Figs. 3 and 5). Pointing at the top the lower leg 20 of the second rail 16 is still a longitudinal one pointed rib 25 for fixing the front panel 17.

To assemble the device, the front panel 17 is in the second Profile rail 16 inserted. The lower leg 20 engages behind the second rail 16 with the projecting projection 21 the lower edge the front panel 17, while the upper edge of the panel 17 from the upper Approach 19 of the rail 16 is bordered, causing the facing is jammed. The second rail 16 can now together with the Front panel 17 are inserted into the first rail 8. For this the upper shoulder 19 of the second rail 16 in the longitudinal groove 11 the bottom of the upper leg 9 of the first rail 8 pushed and the second mounting rail 16 is firmly pivoted against the first rail 8 pressed so that the lower leg 13 of the first Profile rail 8 in the longitudinal groove 22 of the second profile rail 16 snaps into place.

The front panel 17 is the lower leg 20 of the second Profile rail 16 and the upper leg 9 of the first profile rail 8 edged and protected from damage by the profiles. The parts will securely held together without the connecting means, i.e. Screws, Tongues or grooves are visible from the outside. Between the bottom of the on the old step 6 patch elbow 1 and the top of the new a step 26 is located below the step, the is glued to the front of the old control stage 27 (Fig. 1). The cavities between the front edge of the old step 6 and the angle piece 1 can be filled with a suitable filler.

This embodiment differs from the embodiment of FIG. 4 in that on the lower leg 20 of the profile rail 16 an inwardly extending arcuate diaphragm 28 is connected, the bottom of the profile rail 16 gives a harmonious look.

The embodiment shown in Fig. 7 differs from that below Reference to FIGS. 1 to 5 described embodiment, that the first rail 8 directly with the front of the old step 6th is screwed. The elbow 1 placed on the old step 6 can in the renovation of the stairs then omitted if the stairs are still are relatively well preserved.
