Abstract

The edge profile is provided by an angle profile (1) with an extended horizontal lip (5) for covering the edge of the stair tread covering (12). A perpendicular impact surface fits over the top of the covering (32) for the riser, secured to a base profile which is screwed to the surface of the stair tread (31). The angle profile is secured to the base profile via a height adjustable fixing, to accommodate the thickness of the stair tread covering, e.g. using upstanding guide edges (11) projecting from the base profile defining a screw sleeve for a fixing screw (16) fitted through the angle profile.

Description

The invention relates to a stair nosing profile from a step angle profile with a step leg, the free end designed as a cover wing for a stair covering is at it essentially at right angles arranged stop legs, and one on the stairs definable base profile.

From the generic US-A-4,455,797 is already a Stair edge profile known, which from a step angle and a basic profile. The base profile is L-shaped is placed around the edge of the stairs and is Nail attached. The base profile points at the edge of the stairs a slope, which acts as a stop contact surface serves for the step angle. The outside of the base profile and the inside of the step angle fits positively together. The step angle is made of plastic and has air chambers to improve the damping properties on. At the step angle are at both ends so-called cover wings are formed, which after putting on of the step angle on the base profile against the stair covering press the base profile. The application is limited to Carpets between the cover wing and base profile be compressed and pinched.

The disadvantage of this construction is that the application on stair coverings with a specific material thickness limited. When laying carpets with a greater material thickness or when using laminate or Parquet floors would have to be for each material thickness a different step angle can be used.

Ein Anschlag des nach unten ragenden kurzen Anschlagschenkels des Trittwinkelprofils am Basisprofil ist nicht vorgesehen.DE-A-39 07 959 describes a method for renewing the Visible surfaces of a stair step known, in which a basic profile in the form of an angle profile on the step is placed on the stair nosing in the right Angle of the base profile comes to lie. The down projecting leg of the base profile has an accessible from above Slit open into a web of a step angle can be inserted. A stair covering covers the leg surface of the base profile and is inserted after inserting of the step angle profile in the receiving slot of the base profile covered by a short cover leg. Dependent the footbridge of the Step angle profile more or less deep in the receiving slot into it. After placing the entire stair nosing profile by drilling and then drilling Screwed to the stairs fixed. A height adjustability is only guaranteed insofar as the step angle profile in its corresponding mounting positions drilled and screwed becomes. A stop of the short stop leg protruding downwards the step angle profile on the base profile is not provided.

The object of this invention is to create a stair nosing profile type mentioned in such a way that the stair nosing profile for stair coverings with different material thicknesses can be used.

The object is achieved in that the step angle profile on the base profile via a height adjustable Bracket can be fixed so that the cover wing on the stair covering comes to rest, with on the kick leg in arranged essentially to the footbridge web whose side facing the stair edge has a first guide support surface is trained, and that in the appropriate place a corresponding web on the base profile is one of the first guide support surfaces has facing counter surface, and a second Guide support surface on the stop leg and the associated Counter surface either on a substantially forward facing Front edge of the base profile is formed, or on one at the appropriate place on the base profile arranged second Web is formed.

The training according to the invention enables a simple and quick attachment of the stair nosing profile over a wide Area of application of different stair covering thicknesses.

The stair nosing profile and the base profile are advantageous with each other via the height-adjustable bracket releasably connected. Especially when laying parquet and Laminate floors on spiral staircases, it is very important that the step angle profile to mark the position of the base profile can already be put on. To the parquet or The step angle profile must be able to lay laminate sheets can be removed again because of a stiff stair covering especially with spiral staircases not under the cover wings can be threaded.

By the interaction of the guide support surfaces with the Counter surfaces on the base profile is vertical movement the step angle profile guaranteed. The moment too when stepping on the stair nosing profile is by the skillful arrangement of the guide support surfaces and the Transfer counter surfaces to the base profile.

It is to adjust the height of the step angle profile very advantageous that the webs are arranged on the base profile and the inside of the webs are designed that they form a thread drive channel.

Conveniently, this is also on the kick leg Countersunk holes designed to accommodate driving screws. The distance between the step angle profile is determined using the drive screws and base profile set so that the cover wing comes to rest on the stair covering. When screwing in the drive screws into the thread drive channel the wall of the web on the base profile with the guide support surface against the counter surface on the web of the step angle profile pressed. It therefore takes place simultaneously Height adjustment a jam between the step angle leg and base profile.

In the case of an advantageous modification, they are each interacting Areas formed as grid areas.

Another advantageous alternative training is the height-adjustable bracket as at least one grid bar with projections (left and right side) on the bottom of the kick leg is formed, the projections in corresponding depressions on the inside the bars can be snapped into place. Through this grid formation Step angle profile and base profile easily assembled and be dismantled.

To achieve a finer gradation in the height adjustment, it is very advantageous that the left-hand projections to the right-hand projections of the at least a grid web or the left-hand depressions the right-hand depressions of the webs by a predetermined Are offset from each other.

The grid bars are advantageously around the connection point springy to the kick leg.

To set the base profile on the stairs are on this advantageously provided boreholes.

To get a non-slip surface, it can be cheap be the kick leg on its outside with in the longitudinal direction of the profile to provide running grooves and on Transition tread leg and / or on the cover wing Form grooves.

So that the base profile can be securely fixed on the stairs can and the stair covering can move freely on the base profile it is convenient that the horizontal Section of the base profile at its top and its Underside shows a profiling.

Will the stair nosing profile for the minimum possible material thickness inserted, so is on the inside of the stop leg formed a paragraph that is the deepest Position of the step angle profile limited. This stair covering thickness is advantageous for stair edges with extremely high Load, because the step angle profile at the stop position Support the stop on the base profile can.

The step angle profile has proven to be very cheap and to manufacture the base profile from aluminum.

Further advantageous embodiments of the invention are in disclosed in the subclaims.

1 shows a side view of a step angle profile 1, as is the case with the stair nosing profile according to the invention Use. The step angle profile 1 consists of a Kick leg 2 and a substantially perpendicular to this arranged stop leg 3. on the step leg 2 is essentially parallel to the stop leg 3 in one predetermined distance a web 10 is formed, the to the stop leg 3 side a first guide support surface 7 forms. The kick leg 2 goes over the web 10 and forms a cover wing in this area 5. The cover wing 5 tapers slightly to free end and is rounded at this. In its position, the cover wing 5 is slightly in the direction Sloping top of the stairs. In the kick leg 2 are in the area between web 10 and stop leg 3 countersunk holes 15 in which drive screws 16 be used. On the surface of the kick leg 2 are in the transition between kick leg 2 and stop leg 3 and in the area above the web 10 and the Cover wing 5 grooves running in the longitudinal direction of the profile 18 designed to have a non-slip and slip-resistant surface to achieve. The outside of the stop leg 3 is designed as a slope, which down into a radial curvature passes. The inside of the stop leg 3 points from below in this embodiment seen here a first paragraph 30, after which the inside in a guide support surface 6 which merges with the Front side of a base plate of the base profile 4 interacts. However, it can also be used for such an end face special thickening on the base profile.

Following the guide support surface 6 is on the inside of the stop leg 3 a stop 20 is formed, which occurs when the step angle profile 1 is opened the base profile 4 defines the lowest parquet density.

Fig. 1 zusammenwirkt. Fig. 2 shows a side view of the base profile 4, which with a step angle profile acc. Fig. 1 interacts. The base profile 4 is via screws 33 set on a stair step 31. The basic profile 4 was arranged in this embodiment so that a vertical riser 32 is attached to the front of the step can be. For positioning the base profile 4 it is very important that the step angle profile 1 is put on briefly can be. To insert the stair covering 12 is it is again advantageous and for laminate and parquet floors mandatory that the step angle profile 1 is removed again can be. In this embodiment, this is Step angle profile 1 pushed onto base profile 4 until the cover wing 5 on the top of the stair covering 12 comes to circulation. Then step angle profile 1 is over the driving screws 16 fixed on the base profile. When screwing in the drive screws 16 the web 11 jams of the base profile 4 with the web 10 of the step leg profile 1.
