Claims (6)

  1. Machine pour emballer des articles (5) présentant des dimensions variables en utilisant un film extensible (1, 101), comprenant :
    des moyens (6) pour déterminer longueur, largeur et hauteur d'un article (5) à emballer;
    des moyens (2, 3, 103) pour amener à partir d'une bobine primaire (1) à une station d'emballage un segment (101) longitudinal dudit film extensible proportionnel à la dimension de l'article déterminée par les moyens de détermination (6);
    des moyens pour soulever l'article à emballer contre ledit segment de film et des moyens pour appliquer le film autour de l'article (5) pour former un emballage;
    un dispositif pour positionner des bandes personnalisées (107) en matière thermoplastique sur l'emballage, lesdites bandes étant déroulées d'une bobine secondaire (7) disposée parallèlement à la bobine primaire (1) portant le film d'emballage (101) et montée sur un élément coulissant (11) qui peut être déplacé le long d'un axe pour amener la bande dans la position désirée sur le film,
    caractérisé par le fait que le dispositif de positionnement comprend:
    un système servo de précision (112 - 113) actionné par un moteur (15) commandé électroniquement pour déplacer l'élément coulissant (11) portant la bobine secondaire (7);
    des moyens (17, 18) pour remettre la bobine secondaire dans une position de départ;
    une unité de contrôle logique (19) qui met en marche le moteur commandé électroniquement (15) par un interface approprié et qui reçoit du moteur les signaux du mouvement linéaire de l'élément coulissant portant la bobine secondaire, ladite unité présentant une entrée supplémentaire reliée audits moyens de remise (18) et une autre entrée reliée à un clavier et un écran de visionnement (20) qui peuvent être utilisés pour envoyer à l'unité de contrôle la variable de la position de la bande personnalisée par rapport au film d'emballage, et une autre entrée connectée aux moyens (6) de détermination.
  2. Dispositif selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que la position de départ remise de la bobine secondaire est celle dans laquelle la bobine se trouve alignée avec l'axe médiane (16) du film s'étendant dans la station d'emballage.
  3. Dispositif selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que l'unité logique de commande (19) comprend une mémoire pour enregistrer la position occupée à tout moment par l'élément coulissant portant la bobine secondaire (7), de manière à ce que des changements successifs de cette position avec des changements du format de l'article peuvent se faire sans passer par l'étape de remise en position de départ, cette étape étant faite, au besoin, seulement lorsque la machine d'emballage est mise en marche.
  4. Dispositif selon la revendication 3, caractérisé en ce que la mémoire de l'unité logique de contrôle (19) comprend une batterie qui permet d'enregistrer la dernière position occupée par l'élément coulissant portant la bobine secondaire (7), de manière à ce que l'opération de remise se fait seulement lorsque le dispositif est monté sur la machine d'emballage, ou après toute mise en marche de la machine d'emballage si la batterie devient déchargée.
  5. Dispositif selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que l'unité logique de commande (19) et les moyens correspondant de programmation et d'interrogation (20) sont indépendants du système de commande électronique de la machine d'emballage.
  6. Dispositif selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que l'unité (19) et les moyens correspondant de programmation et d'interrogation (20) peuvent être intégrés dans le système de contrôle électronique de la machine d'emballage, au moyen de connecteurs et de protocoles de communication appropriés.
