Abstract

Die Erfindung betrift einen mobilen Rundfunkempfänger, welcher eine Pseudo-Stereo-Schaltung aufweist, welche bei Vorliegen eines Monosignals dieses in ein Pseudo-Stereo-Signal aufbereitet. Dies ist insbesondere dann von besonderem Vorteil, wenn ein Stereoempfangssignal zur Steigerung der Empfangsqualität als Monosiganal verstärkt wird und dennoch ein gehobenes Klangerlebnis erreicht werden soll. Bei dieser Art wird frühzeitig bei Absinken der Empfangsqualität das Umschalteen auf Monobetrieb mit anschließenden Aufbereiten zum Pseudo-Stereo-Signal vorgenommen. Durch diese Erfindung läßt sich bei niedriger Empfangsqualität insbesondere bei niedriger Feldstärke ein gesteigertes Klangerlebnis sicherstellen. Eine beispielhafte Anordnung ist in Figur 1 dargestellt. Das MPX-Ausgangssignal des FM-Tuners wird dem Stereodecoder zugeführt, der einerseits das Signal, falls möglich, als Stereo-Signal an den Multiplexer weitergibt und andererseits das Signal, soweit es sich um ein Monosignal handelt, der Pseudo-Stereo-Schaltung zuführt, welche dieses aufbereitet und ebenso dem Multiplexer zuführt. Darüberhinaus wird durch den Stereodecoder eine Steuerschaltung angesteuert, welche abhängig von dem Vorhandensein eines Stereo- oder Monosignals den Multiplexer so steuert, daß jeweils die richtigen Eingänge zu den Lautsprechern durchgeschaltet sind.
