Definitions

  • the invention relates to a partition for showers with a Connecting part according to the preamble of claim 1.
  • Such a partition for showers is known from EP-A-0 114 903 essentially known.
  • Partition for showers with a fixed part and a partition part designed as a sliding door.
  • To the fixed partition part engages several connecting parts each a fastening part, which has two U-legs, which with glued or jammed the edge of this fixed partition part can be.
  • These connecting parts each have their Fastening part a bracket with which a guide rod is held on which the second partition part via a movable Storage is held as a sliding door and is adjustable.
  • This partition and arrangement is tailored exclusively to on a fixed partition part of a partition for showers a second partition part designed as a sliding door indirectly holding this sliding door from a guide rod must be worn with the fixed partition part over several Connection parts is held.
  • This special connector is therefore unsuitable to use a partition for showers even with a shower Building wall or with another partition part directly connect.
  • the connecting parts are still comparative a lot of material needed.
  • a partition for showers which in turn is provided a single connecting part, namely one, for example by means of dowel screwing on one Building wall attachable profile strip.
  • this is Profile strip approximately U-shaped, being between the U-legs a receiving groove is provided in which the partition can be used with an edge area.
  • the partition part Determine the adhesive connection on the profile strip. It is unfavorable however, that when gluing the partition part, for example by means of a previously inserted into the receiving groove of the profile strip Adhesive, the partition until the adhesive hardens must first be fixed elsewhere in relation to the profile bar.
  • wheel chocks can be provided, for example which the partition part during assembly on the shower tray is supported.
  • the assembly of the known partition is therefore with a certain Effort connected, especially with partitions made of glass there is a risk that the partition wall will slip during assembly and is damaged in the process. It is also unfavorable that the Profile bar requires a relatively large amount of material and also has a certain size, which is particularly the case with shower partitions made of glass or transparent plastic as annoying is felt.
  • the partition wall or the partition wall part can be fixed in its desired position by clamping between the clamping legs of the clamps provided on the connecting parts after fixing the connecting parts, for example by means of a dowel screw connection on a building wall.
  • the partition or partition part is held by the connecting part immediately after insertion into the clamp, so that accidental falling of the partition or partition part is practically avoided during assembly.
  • This is particularly advantageous in the case of a partition or partitions made of glass, since in this way breakage of the glass pane when it falls down and damage to the shower tray or the bathroom equipment associated therewith are avoided.
  • the clamps provided on the connecting parts enable the partition to be securely fastened without perforations for the passage of fastening elements, for example screws, having to be provided in the partition.
