Abstract

Ein Schalldämpfer für einen Einzylinder-Dieselmotor besitzt ein Schalldämpfergehäuse mit einer zylinderkopfseitigen Eintrittsöffnung für das Abgas und einer Austrittsöffnung (2), welcher eine schwingend gelagerte Stauplatte (5) zugeordnet ist, deren Fläche mindestens dem Querschnitt der Austrittsöffnung (2) entspricht. Die Stauplatte (5) ist am freien Ende einer Blattfeder befestigt, deren anderes Ende mit dem Schalldämpfergehäuse (1) verbunden ist.

Description

  • Die Erfindung betrifft einen Schalldämpfer für einen Verbrennungsmotor, insbesondere Einzylinder-Dieselmotor, mit einem Schalldämpfergehäuse, welches eine zylinderkopfseitige Eintrittsöffnung für das Abgas und eine Austrittsöffnung aufweist, welcher eine federnde, auf der Außenseite des Schalldämpfergehäuses angeordnete Abdeckung zugeordnet ist.
  • Derartige Schalldämpfer sind in der Regel gekammert und besitzen Einbauten in Form von Lochblechen, Resonatoren, Auskleidungen aus Schallschluckstoff oder dgl.
  • Bei einem aus der deutschen Offenlegungsschrift 14 76 582 bekannten Schalldämpfer der eingangs genannten Art mit einem geteilten Schalldämpfergehäuse ist der Austrittsöffnung eine federnde Abdeckung zugeordnet. Dabei handelt es sich um eine dünne, blattförmige Zunge mit möglichst geringer Steifheit, so daß deren Auslenkung durch einen starren, entsprechend der voll ausgelenkten Form der Zunge vorgeformten Anschlag begrenzt werden muß.
  • Der vorliegenden Erfindung liegt demgegenüber die Aufgabe zugrunde, einen besonders einfach aufgebauten Schalldämpfer für Kleindieselmotoren zu schaffen, der mit entsprechend niedrigen Kosten hergestellt werden kann, aber in seiner Wirksamkeit der bekannten Lösung zumindest gleichwertig ist.
  • Erfindungsgemäß wird diese Aufgabe an einem gattungsgemäßen Schalldämpfer dadurch gelöst, daß die Abdeckung als eine mittels einer Feder schwingend gelagerte Stauplatte ausgebildet ist, so daß die Stauplatte bezüglich der Austrittsöffnung mit geringem Abstand von dieser schwebend gehalten ist und daß die Feder als Blattfeder ausgebildet ist, an derem freien Ende die Stauplatte befestigt ist, und deren anderes Ende in einer Entfernung von der Austrittsöffnung mit dem Schalldämpfergehäuse verbunden ist.
  • Hierbei kommt es entscheidend darauf an, daß niedrige Herstellungskosten sowohl auf seiten des Schalldämpfergehäuses, als auch auf seiten der für die unmittelbare Dämpfungswirkung verantwortlichen Lösungsmerkmale erzielt werden. Ein ohne Zwischenwände gegossenes Schalldämpfergehäuse kann besonders billig hergestellt werden, verglichen mit Schalldämpfern aus geschweißtem Stahlblech; statt aufwendiger Einbauten im Schalldämpfergehäuse ist vor der Austrittsöffnung lediglich eine Stauplatte angebracht.
  • Diese läßt sich durch geeignete Wahl ihrer Stärke bzw. durch zusätzliche Anbringung einer Schwungmasse leicht mit der Abgasschwingung z. B. bei Nenndrehzahl abstimmen. Außerdem ist eine maßgebliche Einflußgröße für die Schwingung der Stauplatte die Dimensionierung der Blattfeder, an derem freien Ende die Stauplatte befestigt ist, so daß sie dicht vor der Austrittsöffnung in Schwingung gehalten werden kann. Sie liegt also nicht auf dem Kragen der Austrittsöffnung auf, sondern schwebt mit geringem Abstand über diesem. Zudem kann die Blattfeder noch mittels einer gegenüber dem Schalldämpfergehäuse abgestützten Stellschraube unterstützt werden, wobei es für deren Wirkung auf die Blattfederschwingung maßgeblich auf den Unterstützungsort und auf deren Verstellweg ankommt.
  • Der erfindungsgemäße Schalldämpfer besteht aus nur wenigen Bauteilen. Das Schalldämpfergehäuse wird zweckmäßig als einteiliges Gehäuse aus Aluminium, bevorzugt mit einem Sandkern gegossen. Die Blattfeder mit der Stauplatte wird von außen auf das Schalldämpfergehäuse aufgeschraubt; im übrigen trägt die Blattfeder nur wenige Bauteile, nämlich die Stauplatte und ggfs. ein Schwunggewicht, welches aber in weiterer Vereinfachung durch den oder die Nietköpfe gebildet sein kann, mit welchen die Stauplatte an der Blattfeder befestigt ist.
  • Versuche haben gezeigt, daß mit diesen einfachen Mitteln die für gewerbliche und industrielle Antriebe angestrebten Lärmschutzwerte eingehalten werden können.
  • Im folgenden wird ein Ausführungsbeispiel der Erfindung anhand der Zeichnung erläutert. Es zeigt

  • Fig. 1 zeigt einen Abschnitt des Schalldämpfergehäuses 1 aus Aluminiumguß mit einer Austrittsöffnung 2 für das Abgas. Die Austrittsöffnung 2 ist bevorzugt in der Oberseite des Schalldämpfergehäuses vorgesehen. Sie ist begrenzt durch einen vorspringenden Kragen 3, der mit geringem Abstand von einem kragenförmigen Vorsprung 4 umgeben ist. Der Vorsprung 4 überragt den Kragen 3, so daß eine die Austrittsöffnung 2 überdeckende Stauplatte 5 im wesentlichen innerhalb des Vorsprungs 4 angeordnet ist. Sie ist mittels eines Niets 6 mit einer Blattfeder 7 verbunden, welche oberhalb des Vorsprungs 4 nach oben gekröpft und mit ihrem anderen Ende mit dem Gehäuse verschraubt ist. Die Stauplatte 5 ist dicht oberhalb des Kragens 3 angeordnet; sie wird durch die pulsierenden Abgase im Bereich der Austrittsöffnung 2 zum Schwingen angeregt. Das aus Stauplatte 5, Niet 6 und Blattfeder 7 bestehende Schwingungssystem ist so ausgelegt, daß die Stauplatte unter der Einwirkung der pulsierenden Abgase fibriert, ohne jedoch den Kragen 3 zu berühren. Zweckmäßig ist dabei eine Abstimmung des genannten Schwingungssystems mit der Abgasfrequenz bei Nenndrehzahl des Motors.
  • Die Draufsicht gemäß Fig. 2 zeigt, daß die Blattfeder an ihrem Befestigungsende eine Verbreiterung 8 besitzt, durch welche zwei Befestigungsschrauben 9 in das Schalldämpfergehäuse eingeschraubt sind. Der kragenförmige Vorsprung 4 bildet einen Flansch mit zwei Gewindebohrungen 10; letztere sind nur für den Fall vorgesehen, daß anstelle einer Stauplatte 5 andersartige Abgaskompensatoren über der Austrittsöffnung befestigt werden sollen.
  • Mit der Achse 11 in Fig. 1 und dem strichlierten Querschnitt 12 ist eine Stellschraube angedeutet, welche in einer Gewindebohrung des Gehäuses 1 sitzt und von unten gegen die Blattfeder 7 verspannbar ist. Auf diese Weise besteht die Möglichkeit, die Eigenschwingung des oben erläuterten Schwingungssystems zu beeinflussen.

Claims (11)

  1. Schalldämpfer für Verbrennungsmotor, insbesondere Einzylinder-Dieselmotor, mit einem Schalldämpfergehäuse, welches eine zylinderkopfseitige Eintrittsöffnung für das Abgas und eine Austrittsöffnung (2) aufweist, welcher eine federnde, auf der Außenseite des Schalldämpfergehäuses (1) angeordnete Abdeckung zugeordnet ist,
    dadurch gekennzeichnet,
    - daß die Abdeckung als eine mittels einer Feder schwingend gelagerte Stauplatte (5) ausgebildet ist, so daß die Stauplatte (5) bezüglich der Austrittsöffnung (2) mit geringem Abstand von dieser schwebend gehalten ist und
    - daß die Feder als Blattfeder ausgebildet ist, an derem freien Ende die Stauplatte (5) befestigt ist, und deren anderes Ende in einer Entfernung von der Austrittsöffnung (2) mit dem Schalldämpfergehäuse (1) verbunden ist.
  2. Schalldämpfer nach Anspruch 1,
    dadurch gekennzeichnet,
    daß ein gegossenes Schalldämpfergehäuse (1) ohne Einbauten, Zwischenwände oder dgl. vorgesehen ist.
  3. Schalldämpfer nach Anspruch 2,
    dadurch gekennzeichnet,
    daß das Schalldämpfergehäuse (1) als einteiliges Gußgehäuse hergestellt ist.
  4. Schalldämpfergehäuse nach Anspruch 1,
    dadurch gekennzeichnet,
    daß die Stauplatte (5) nur in ihrem Zentrum mit der Blattfeder (7) verbunden ist.
  5. Schalldämpfer nach Anspruch 1,
    dadurch gekennzeichnet,
    daß an der Stauplatte (5) eine mit der Abgasschwingung abgestimmte Schwungmasse befestigt ist.
  6. Schalldämpfer nach Anspruch 5,
    dadurch gekennzeichnet,
    daß die Schwungmasse im Zentrum der Stauplatte (5) befestigt ist.
  7. Schalldämpfer nach Anspruch 1,
    dadurch gekennzeichnet,
    daß die Austrittsöffnung durch einen nach außen vorspringenden Kragen (3) des Schalldämpfergehäuses (1) begrenzt wird.
  8. Schalldämpfer nach Anspruch 7,
    dadurch gekennzeichnet,
    daß der Kragen (3) mit Abstand von einem kragenförmigen Vorsprung (4) umgeben ist, welcher den Kragen (3) überragt.
  9. Schalldämpfer nach Anspruch 8,
    dadurch gekennzeichnet,
    daß die Stauplatte (5) größer ist als der Kragen (3), aber kleiner als der Vorsprung (4), so daß sie seitlich vom Vorsprung (4) umschlossen ist.
  10. Schalldämpfer nach Anspruch 9,
    dadurch gekennzeichnet,
    daß der Vorsprung (4) die Stauplatte (5) überragt.
  11. Schalldämpfer nach Anspruch 1,
    dadurch gekennzeichnet,
    daß die Blattfeder (7) mit Abstand von der Außenseite des Schalldämpfergehäuses (1) verläuft und außerhalb ihres Befestigungspunktes mit dem Schalldämpfergehäuse (1) durch eine Stellschraube (11, 12) zur Beeinflussung ihrer Federeigenschaften unterstützt wird, welche in eine Gewindebohrung des Schalldämpfergehäuses (1) verstellbar aufgenommen ist.
