Abstract

Klappschachteln bestehen aus einem Schachtelteil (10) und einem Deckel (11). Letzterer ist über eine Scharnierlinie (26) im rückseitigen Teil der Klappschachtel mit dem Schachtelteil (10) schwenkbar verbunden. Für die Gestaltung einer Klappschachtel ohne Kragen ist der Deckel (11) gegenüber dem Schachtelteil (10) tiefer gesetzt, und zwar durch eine Z-Faltung (28) im Bereich von Schachtel-Rückwand (13) und Deckel-Rückwand (18). Description

  • Die Erfindung betrifft eine Klappschachtel aus dünnem Karton für Zigaretten und andere Verpackungsgüter, mit einem Schachtelteil aus Schachtel-Vorderwand, Schachtel-Rückwand, Schachtel-Seitenwänden und Bodenwand sowie einem Deckel aus Deckel-Vorderwand, Deckel-Rückwand, Deckel-Seitenwänden und Stirnwand, wobei der Deckel im Bereich der Deckel-Rückwand über eine quergerichtete Scharnierlinie mit der Schachtel-Rückwand schwenkbar verbunden ist.
  • Weiterhin betrifft die Erfindung einen Zuschnitt für die Herstellung von Klappschachteln mit den vorstehenden Merkmalen.
  • Klappschachteln sind weltweit als Verparkungstyp für Zigaretten verbreitet. Der standardmäßige Aufbau einer Klappschachtel oder Hinge-Lid-Packung sieht so aus, daß Schachtelteil und Deckel im Bereich von Schachtel-Rückwand und Deckel-Rückwand durch eine quergerichtete Scharnierlinie klappbar miteinander verbunden sind. Im Schachtelteil ist ein aus diesem herausragender Kragen angeordnet, der sich im Bereich der Schachtel-Vorderwand und der Schachtel-Seitenwände erstreckt. Der aus dem Schachtelteil herausragende Bereich des Kragens wird in Schließstellung von Deckel-Vorderwand und Deckel-Seitenwänden umfaßt.
  • Der Materialaufwand für Klappschachteln dieser Ausführung ist beträchtlich, insbesondere durch den aus einem gesondertem Zuschnitt gefertigten Kragen. Dessen Anbringung verursacht auch zusätzlichen verpackungstechnischen Aufwand bei der Fertigung der Klappschachteln.
  • Der Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, eine Klappschachtel mit verbesserten Eigenschaften und geringerem Material- sowie Fertigungsaufwand vorzuschlagen.
  • Zur Lösung dieser Aufgabe ist die erfindungsgemäße Klappschachtel dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Scharnierlinie durch Faltenbildung im Bereich der Deckel-Rückwand und/oder der Schachtel-Rückwand nach unten in einen tieferen Bereich der Schachtel-Rückwand versetzt ist und daß der Deckel mit der Deckel-Vorderwand sowie den Deckel-Seitenwänden einen zugekehrten oberen Bereich von Schachtel-Vorderwand und Schachtel-Seitenwänden außen überdeckt.
  • Durch die erfindungsgemäße Gestaltung der Klappschachtel ist es möglich, auf den Einsatz eines Kragens zu verzichten. Die erforderliche Überlappung des Deckels in Schließstellung wird dadurch gewährleistet, daß Deckel-Vorderwand und Deckel-Seitenwände mit einem unteren Teil- bzw. Randbereich Schachtel-Vorderwand und Schachtel-Seitenwände in deren oberen Randbereichen überlappen. Dadurch wird eine wirksame Schließstellung gewährleistet. Das Öffnen der Klappschachtel ist erleichtert, da der Deckel im Bereich von Deckel-Vorderwand und Deckel-Seitenlappen auf den korrespondierenden Wandungen des Schachtelteils aufliegt und dadurch besser erfaßt werden kann.
  • Die Klappschachtel wird komplett aus einem einstückigen Zuschnitt gefertigt, bei dem als zusätzliche Maßnahme Stanzschnitte im Bereich der Schachtel-Rückwand und/oder der Deckel-Rückwand anzubringen sind, um die Faltbereiche, insbesondere für eine Z-Faltung, freizulegen.
  • Die erfindungsgemäß ausgebildete Klappschachtel kann durch eine Außenumhüllung aus Zellglas oder Polyfolie umgeben sein. Die Klappschachtel ist aber auch besonders gut geeignet für neuerdings angebotene Zigarettenpackungen ohne Außenumhüllung.
  • Weitere Merkmale der Erfindung betreffen die Ausbildung der (Z-)Faltung im Bereich der Rückseite der Klappschachtel sowie die Gestaltung von Randkanten des Deckels und der Klappschachtel.
  • Ausführungsbeispiele der erfindungsgemäßen Klappschachtel werden nachfolgend anhand von Ausführungsbeispielen näher erläutert. Es zeigt:

  • Die in den Zeichnungen dargestellten Ausführungsbeispiele von Klappschachteln bestehen aus einem Schachtelteil 10 und einem Deckel 11. Der Schachtelteil 10 bildet eine Schachtel-Vorderwand 12, gegenüberliegend eine Schachtel-Rückwand 13, schmale, aufrechte Schachtel-Seitenwände 14, 15 und eine Bodenwand 16.
  • Der Deckel 11 ist analog ausgebildet. Er besteht aus einer Deckel-Vorderwand 17, einer gegenüberliegenden Deckel-Rückwand 18, Deckel-Seitenwände 19, 20 in Verlängerung der Schachtel-Seitenwände 14, 15 (bei geschlossener Klappschachtel) und aus einer Stirnwand 21 gegenüberliegend zur Bodenwand 16. Die Schachtel-Seitenwände 14, 15 bestehen aus einander überdeckenden und durch Klebung miteinander verbundenen Schachtel-Seitenlappen 22, 23. Analog sind die Deckel-Seitenwände 19, 20 aus miteinander verklebten Deckel-Seitenlappen 24, 25 gebildet.
  • Schachtelteil 10 und Deckel 11 sind im Bereich von Schachtel-Rückwand 13 und Deckel-Rückwand 18 über ein quer verlaufendes Gelenk bzw. eine durch Prägung des Materials gebildete Scharnierlinie 26 schwenkbar miteinander verbunden. Die Scharnierlinie 26 erstreckt sich über die volle Breite der Schachtel-Rückwand 13 und Deckel-Rückwand 18. Die Abmessungen von Schachtelteil 10 und Deckel 11 sind so gewählt, daß der Packungsinhalt, nämlich eine von einer Innenumhüllung umgebene Zigaretten-Gruppe - Zigaretten-Block 27 - im Schachtelteil 10 sitzt und aus diesem mit einem oberen Endbereich herausragt. Dieser ist in Schließstellung der Klappschachtel vom Deckel 11 umschlossen.
  • Der Deckel 11 ist so angeordnet und bemessen, daß in Schließstellung der Klappschachtel ein oberer Endbereich des Schachtelteils 10 vom Deckel 11, nämlich von Deckel-Vorderwand 12, Deckel-Rückwand 13 und Deckel-Seitenwänden 14, 15 umfaßt ist. Die Proportionen sind so gewählt, daß ein zwängungsfreies Öffnen und Schließen des Deckels möglich sind. Der Deckel 11 ist zu diesem Zweck im Verhältnis zu herkömmlichen Klappschachteln tiefer gesetzt, so daß Schließkanten von Schachtelteil 10 und Deckel 11 nicht - wie sonst üblich - in Schließstellung aneinanderstoßen.
  • Um die geschilderte Relativstellung des Deckels 11 zu ermöglichen, ist die Scharnierlinie 26 nach unten, also in Richtung zur Bodenwand 16, versetzt. Diese Relativstellung wird durch eine Faltung im rückseitigen Bereich der Klappschachtel ermöglicht. Es handelt sich bei dem vorliegenden Ausführungsbeispiel um eine Z-förmige Faltung, also eine Z-Faltung 28. Diese wird im Bereich von Schachtel-Rückwand 13 und Deckel-Rückwand 18 gebildet. Die Scharnierlinie 26 ist durch einen Faltschenkel 29 nach unten versetzt, wodurch die Relativstellung des gesamten Deckels 11 entsprechend verändert ist. Der Faltschenkel 29 ist demnach unten durch Scharnierlinie 26 und oben durch eine Faltkante 30 begrenzt. In diesem Bereich schließt der Faltschenkel 29 an die Schachtel-Rückwand 13 an. Der Faltschenkel 29 ist dauerhaft mit der Schachtel-Rückwand 13 verbunden, insbesondere durch Klebung 43. Beim Öffnen und Schließen des Deckels 11 bleibt so der Faltschenkel 29 in fester Anlage an der Schachtel-Rückwand 13.
  • Bei dieser Ausführung einer Klappschachtel ist ein sonst üblicher Kragen entbehrlich. Der Schachtelteil 10 ist so gestaltet, daß die aufrechten Wände eine größere Höhe aufweisen als üblicherweise. Die Schachtel-Rückwand 13 erstreckt sich nahezu bis zum oberen Ende des Zigaretten-Blocks 27. Obere Schließkanten, nämlich eine quergerichtete Schachtel-Vorderkante 31 und zur Schachtel-Rückwand 13 schräg ansteigende Schachtel-Seitenkanten 32 verlaufen mit geringem Abstand von der oberen Begrenzung des Zigaretten-Blocks 27. Die Wandungen des Deckels 11 sind etwas größer bzw. breiter ausgebildet als bei herkömmlicher Klappschachtel, so daß sie den oberen Bereich des Schachtelteils 10 umfassen können. Eine Deckel-Vorderkante 33 verläuft in Schließstellung parallel zur Schachtel-Vorderkante 31, jedoch nach unten versetzt. Deckel-Seitenkanten 34 verlaufen ebenfalls schräg, und zwar in Schließstellung parallel zu den Schachtel-Seitenkanten 32.
  • Ein Zuschnitt 35 für eine derartige Klappschachtel ist einstückig ausgebildet und kann, wie in Fig. 3 und in Fig. 6 gezeigt, aus einer fortlaufenden Materialbahn gefertigt werden durch entsprechende quergerichtete Trennschnitte. Der Zuschnitt 35 ist ein langgestrecktes Gebilde, bei dem Schachtel-Vorderwand 12, Bodenwand 16, Schachtel-Rückwand 13, Deckel-Rückwand 18, Stirnwand 21 und Schachtel-Vorderwand 17 aufeinanderfolgend durch quergerichtete Faltlinien gegeneinander abgegrenzt sind.
  • Zwischen Schachtel-Rückwand 13 und Deckel-Rückwand 18 ist ein Materialstreifen 39 gebildet, der dem Faltschenkel 29 der Z-Faltung 28 entspricht. Der Materialstreifen 39 ist seitlich durch Trennschnitte begrenzt, nämlich durch Trennschenkel 37. Diese verlaufen im Bereich von längsgerichteten Faltlinien 38, die die Schachtel-Rückwand 13 von anschließenden Schachtel-Seitenlappen 22 abgrenzt. Eine schräggerichtete Trennlinie zur Bildung der Schachtel-Seitenkanten 32 einerseits und der Deckel-Seitenkanten 34 andererseits ist hier als fortgesetzte Stanzlinie der Trennschenkel 37 ausgebildet.
  • In Längsrichtung des Zuschnitts 35 verlaufende Faltlinien 44 und 45 im Bereich des Deckels 11 sind nach außen versetzt zu den korrespondierenden Faltlinien 38 angeordnet. Gleiches gilt für Stanzlinien 46, 47. Die Faltlinien 44, 45 dienen zur seitlichen Begrenzung der Deckel-Vorderwand 17 und der Deckel-Rückwand 18. Die in Verlängerung der Faltlinien 44, 45 verlaufenden Stanzlinien 46, 47 begrenzen die Stirnwand 21. Faltlinien 44, 45 und Stanzlinien 46, 47 haben einen größeren Abstand voneinander als die Faltlinien 38 voneinander. Dadurch sind die Wandungen des Deckels 11 mit größerer Breite ausgebildet als die korrespondierenden Wandungen des Schachtelteils 10. Der Deckel 11 kann dadurch zwängungsfrei den Schachtelteil 10 bei geschlossener Klappschachtel allseitig im oberen Bereich umfassen (Fig. 2 und Fig. 5).
  • Bei der Klappschachtel gemäß Fig. 1 bis 3 ist die Deckel-Vorderwand 17 einlagig gestaltet. Beim Ausführungsbeispiel gemäß Fig. 5 bis 6 weist die Deckel-Vorderwand 17 an ihrer Innenseite eine Verstärkung auf, nämlich einen Deckel-Innenlappen 40. Dieser ist mit der Deckel-Vorderwand 17 einstückig verbunden und gegen deren Innenseite gefaltet sowie dort durch Klebung fixiert.
  • Der Deckel-Innenlappen 40 ist Teil des einstückigen Zuschnitts 35, und zwar Teil der Schachtel-Vorderwand 12 eines benachbarten Zuschnitts. Die Schachtel-Vorderwand 12 erhält dadurch im mittleren Bereich eine Vertiefung 41, die die Entnahme der Zigaretten aus der Klappschachtel erleichtert.
  • Um eine ausreichende Überdeckung auch im Bereich von Deckel-Vorderwand 17 und Schachtel-Vorderwand 12 trotz der Ausnehmung 41 zu gewährleisten, ist bei diesem Ausführungsbeispiel die Deckel-Vorderwand 17 tiefer nach unten gezogen. Dies wird dadurch erreicht, daß die Schachtel-Seitenkanten 32 einerseits und die Deckel-Seitenkanten 34 andererseits nicht parallel verlaufen, sondern in Richtung zur Schachtel-Vorderseite divergierend. Dadurch ergibt sich eine größere Konstruktionshöhe der Deckel-Vorderwand 17 und entsprechend eine größere Überlappung. Bei dem Beispiel hat die Schachtel-Seitenkante 32 eine Neigung von 15° und die Deckel-Seitenkante 34 von 30°.
  • Der Zuschnitt 35 ist auch bei diesem Ausführungsbeispiel aus einer fortlaufenden Materialbahn herstellbar (Fig. 6). In Abweichung vom Ausführungsbeispiel gemäß Fig. 3 verlaufen Stanzungen zur Begrenzung des Zuschnitts 35 an den Enden im Bereich von Deckel-Seitenlappen 24 einerseits und Schachtel-Seitenlappen 23 andererseits unter einem spitzen Winkel zueinander. Es entsteht ein dreieckförmiges Stanzstück 42 beim Abtrennen der Zuschnitte von der Materialbahn.

Claims (9)

  1. Klappschachtel aus dünnem Karton für Zigaretten oder andere Verpackungsgüter, mit einem Schachtelteil (10) aus Schachtel-Vorderwand (12), Schachtel-Rückwand (13), Schachtel-Seitenwänden (14, 15) und Bodenwand (16) sowie einem Deckel (11) aus Deckel-Vorderwand (17), Deckel-Rückwand (18) und Deckel-Seitenwänden (19, 20), gekennzeichnet durch folgende Merkmale:
    a) die Deckel-Rückwand (18) ist über eine quergerichtete Scharnierlinie (26) mit der Schachtel-Rückwand (13) schwenkbar verbunden,
    b) die Scharnierlinie (26) ist durch Faltenbildung im Bereich der Deckel-Rückwand (18) und/oder der Schachtel-Rückwand (13) nach unten in einen tieferen Bereich der Schachtel-Rückwand (13) versetzt,
    c) in Schließstellung überdeckt der Deckel (11) mit der Deckel-Vorderwand (17) sowie den Deckel-Seitenwänden (19, 20) außen einen oberen Bereich von Schachtel-Vorderwand (12) und Deckel-Seitenwänden (14, 15).
  2. Klappschachtel nach Anspruch 1 oder einem der weiteren Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Schachtel-Rückwand (13) und die Deckel-Rückwand (18) durch eine Z-förmige Faltung, nämlich Z-Faltung (28), miteinander verbunden sind, deren Faltschenkel (29) sich über die volle Breite der Schachtel-Rückwand (13) und der Deckel-Rückwand (18) erstreckt und außen an der Schachtel-Rückwand (18) anliegt.
  3. Klappschachtel nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Scharnierlinie (26) des Deckels (11) im Bereich einer unteren, außenliegenden Faltkante der Z-Faltung (28) gebildet ist, wobei der Faltschenkel (29) mit der Außenseite der Schachtel-Rückwand (13) durch Klebung (43) oder dergleichen dauerhaft verbunden ist.
  4. Klappschachtel nach Anspruch 1 oder einem der weiteren Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß im Bereich der Faltung, insbesondere im Bereich des Faltschenkels (29) der Z-Faltung (28), seitliche Trennschnitte, nämlich Trennschenkel (37) im Bereich der Schachtel-Rückwand (13) angeordnet sind, durch die der Faltschenkel (29) von der Schachtel-Rückwand (13) abgetrennt ist.
  5. Klappschachtel nach Anspruch 4 oder einem der weiteren Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Trennschnitte, nämlich Trennschenkel (37) im Bereich aufrechter, rückseitiger Schachtelkanten verlaufen, nämlich entlang von Faltlinien (38).
  6. Klappschachtel nach Anspruch 1 oder einem der weiteren Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Schachtel-Seitenwände (14, 15) sowie entsprechend die Deckel-Seitenwände (19, 20) schräggerichtete Schachtel-Seitenkanten (32) sowie Deckel-Seitenkanten (34) aufweisen, wobei die Deckel-Seitenkanten (34) eine stärkere Neigung zur Deckel-Vorderwand (17) aufweisen als die Schachtel-Seitenkanten (32), derart, daß sich im vorderen Bereich, insbesondere im Bereich der Schachtel-Vorderwand (12) und Deckel-Vorderwand (17) eine vergrößerte Überlappung ergibt.
  7. Klappschachtel nach Anspruch 1 oder einem der weiteren Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß an der Innenseite der Deckel-Vorderwand (17) ein mit dieser verbundener Deckel-Innenlappen (40) angeordnet ist und daß die Schachtel-Vorderwand (12) eine der Gestalt und Größe des Deckel-Innenlappens (40) entsprechende Ausnehmung (41) aufweist.
  8. Zuschnitt für die Herstellung von Klappschachteln aus dünnem Karton für Zigaretten oder andere Verpackungsgüter, wobei durch längs- und quergerichtete Faltlinien Faltlappen begrenzt sind zur Bildung eines Schachtelteils (10) aus Schachtel-Vorderwand (12), Schachtel-Rückwand (13), Schachtel-Seitenwänden (14, 15) und Bodenwand (16) sowie eines Deckels (11) aus Deckel-Vorderwand (17), Deckel-Rückwand (18) und Deckel-Seitenwände (19, 20), wobei der Deckel (11) im Bereich der Deckel-Rückwand (18) über eine quergerichtete, vorzugsweise über die volle Breite durchgehende Scharnierlinie (26) mit der Schachtel-Rückwand (13) schwenkbar verbunden ist, gekennzeichnet durch folgende Merkmale:
    a) Zuschnittbereiche zur Bildung von Schachtel-Vorderwand (12), Bodenwand (16), Schachtel-Rückwand (13), Deckel-Rückwand (18), Stirnwand (21) und Deckel-Vorderwand (17) sind in Längsrichtung aufeinanderfolgend gebildet und durch quergerichtete Faltlinien voneinander abgegrenzt,
    b) zwischen der Schachtel-Rückwand (13) und der Deckel-Rückwand (18) ist ein quergerichteter Material streifen (39) angeordnet zur Bildung einer bei der Klappschachtel rückseitigen Z-Faltung (28), wobei der Material streifen durch seitliche Stanzungen, nämlich Trennschenkel (37) von benachbarten Bereichen des Zuschnitts abgetrennt ist,
    c) in Längsrichtung des Zuschnitts verlaufende Faltlinien (38) zur Begrenzung der Schachtel-Rückwand (13) sowie der Schachtel-Vorderwand (12) weisen einen geringeren Abstand voneinander auf als korrespondierende Faltlinien (44, 45) sowie Stanzlinien (46, 47) im Bereich des Deckels (11), derart, daß ein gefalteter Deckel (11) größere Innenabmessungen in beiden Querrichtungen aufweist als der Schachtelteil (10).
  9. Zuschnitt nach Anspruch 8, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß dieser von einer fortlaufenden Materialbahn abtrennbar ist, wobei Schachtel-Seitenkanten (32) und Deckel-Seitenkanten (34) unter einem Winkel zueinander verlaufen, derart, daß ein Stanzstück (42) freigesetzt wird.
