Definitions
- the invention relates to an applicator according to the preamble of claim 1.
- Such an applicator is in Research Disclosure No. 258, October 1985 (Page 521). Such an applicator can be used for this purpose, for example a sample from a test tube containing blood withdraw to test the blood.
- the applicator can also serve as a syringe to give a patient a medication to administer, or to draw blood directly from it.
- the above information is only examples of use, the others could be added.
- the present invention has for its object a Train the applicator in such a way that its manufacturing and assembly costs kept small can be and its handling is facilitated
- the cylinder, the piston and the tab connecting these components and the other molded tabs are made in one piece, preferably by spraying, manufactured.
- the spring elements run here or tabs rectilinear in a common escape, whereby the piston and the cylinder with their axes perpendicular to Extend the longitudinal axis of the tabs, in opposite directions Directions.
- the applicator is mounted in such a way that first the Recessing spring arm bent by 180 ° and with the Recess is passed over the top of the piston. Subsequently the other spring arm is also bent through 180 °, whereby the cylinder is placed on the piston so that the piston head engages in the cylinder. The two protruding, short ones Spring pieces come into contact with the assigned spring arms and support them.
- the piston is not pulled out of the cylinder by spring force is, it can be provided that on the outside of the A ring bead or a so-called olive at the top of the piston is molded.
- a suitable one can be on the inner wall of the cylinder Blocking device, for example also a ring bead or inwardly projecting hooks are provided, the free inside diameter is slightly smaller than the outside diameter the piston head in the area of the ring bead or the olive.
- the Inner wall of the cylinder following the one described above End position of the piston head another blocking device are located, whose diameter is also slightly smaller than that maximum outer diameter of the piston head.
- the plunger is as long as the syringe is not put into use in the advanced Location in which it is more or less completely in the cylinder is pushed in. This location is here as a "storage position" designated. Because the piston because of the required seal has a radial oversize with respect to the cylinder inner wall this causes the cylinder to expand in this storage position will, i.e. receives an annular bulge. If the syringe in use, the plunger is retracted to aspirate a liquid, and then for administration of the drug to a patient. This happens against a constant counterforce until the Piston the area of the front bulged bearing position reached, in which the counterforce is suddenly reduced. This has the consequence that the piston feed inevitably in this area done faster, which suddenly made a significant larger amount of liquid is squeezed out. This has among other things the disadvantage that this causes considerable pain can be.
- the storage position is in the applicator according to the invention in the back of the cylinder between the two Blocking devices, for example between two of them spaced ring beads.
- the free inside diameter of the cylinder is the same size as that maximum outer diameter of the cylinder head, since there are none Sealing must be done.
- the ring bead that limits its automatic backward movement prevents the piston from returning to the storage position reached, and thus limits the so-called dosing position from which the piston feed for dispensing the absorbed liquid he follows.
- the liquid is then dispensed the entire piston stroke against a constant resistance, so that the liquid with constant amount can be delivered.
- the piston head in the advanced position in the Cylinder can be locked. This is especially for such use cases expedient, in which a patient first a Injection is administered and then after elapse a short period of time to take blood.
- Applicator according to the invention can in the advanced end position e.g. a locking mechanism can be provided, the piston as long holds until the latch is released, so that the applicator automatically draws the blood by spring force.
- an annular bead can be formed on the cylinder, which holds the piston until it is squeezed sideways the spring clips have a sufficient force on the Koblen acts so that this is withdrawn over the ring bead.
- the tip of the cylinder may protrude from some applications Plastic exist, it is preferred that they are in one piece on Cylinder is molded.
- a Luer cone can also be attached to the cylinder be molded according to DIN 13050, in which, for example, a metal cannula can be used in accordance with DIN 13097.
- the training can also be taken so that a metal cannula in the front End portion of the cylinder pressed or glued or is encapsulated.
- the applicator according to the invention can advantageously be in the Manufacture injection molding without the invention thereon is limited.
- a simple open-close tool can be used without a slider, which makes the applicator is particularly inexpensive to manufacture. He is therefore particularly good for use as a disposable applicator suitable.
- the size of the spring force can be selected, for example suitable wall thickness of the spring tabs to the desired size adjustable.
- FIGS. 1-10 show embodiments of an applicator which especially for taking blood samples from blood-containing Containers are suitable. It may be required for other uses be to make the applicator larger.
- Fig. 1 shows a one-piece injection molded part 1 approximately on a scale 2: 1.
- the injection molded part contains one serving as a piston 2 Part on which flat tabs are formed on both sides, which as Spring arms 3 and 4 serve.
- the spring arm 3 contains a recess 5, which is dimensioned so that the piston 2 pass through it can. The spring arm sits behind the recess 5 in an extension piece 6 continues.
- the spring arm 4 leads to a part serving as a cylinder 7 which a cannula or tip 8 is molded on.
- the spring arm 4 sits on the other side of the cylinder 7 in an extension piece 9 continues.
- the spring arms 3, 4 and the extension pieces 6, 9 are part of a straight, flat Tab 10, of which the piston 2 and the cylinder 7 in extend right angle away.
- the closed head 11 of the piston 2 has a flat conical shape, with the front end portion 12 of the cylinder interior matches. So that one located in the cylinder 7 Liquid must be squeezed out completely.
- FIGS. 2A and 2B The assembly of the applicator is shown in FIGS. 2A and 2B. First the spring arm 3 is pushed over the piston 2, wherein the piston head 11 passes through the recess 5. Then the piston head 11 is in the second assembly step Cylinder 7 used, with the spring arm 4 now also through 180 ° is bent.
- annular bead 14 is also formed on the outside, which protrudes slightly beyond the subsequent piston wall.
- the Dimensions are such that the piston head is only applied a certain force with its ring bead 14 through the Ring bead 13 can pass through, the ring bead 13 as a blocking device prevents the piston head 11 by the Force of the spring arms 3, 4 can emerge from the cylinder 7.
- the Piston 2 has a small oversize in the area of the annular bead 14 compared to the clear interior of the cylinder 7, whereby a liquid-tight seal between the piston and cylinder is created.
- FIG. 2C shows a side view of the applicator.
- the Fig recognize that the tab 10 has a width that is slightly larger is the outside diameter of the piston and cylinder.
- Fig. 2B shows that the extension pieces 6 and 9 to the Put on spring arms 4 and 3, whereby the spring arms the illustrated, assume symmetrical shape.
- FIG 3 shows the applicator of the figures on the right in scale 1: 1 1 to 2 in the actuated state and left in the state in which the piston is in the retracted starting position.
- FIG. 4 shows a second embodiment of an applicator.
- the Components that correspond to those of the first embodiment are identified by the same reference numerals and on theirs Repetition is waived.
- the cylinder 7 of the second embodiment there is an extension 15 molded into which a stainless steel cannula 16 is inserted, the a short piece 17 projects into the interior of the cylinder 7.
- the front end of the piston head 19 contains a recess 18, the protruding in the advanced position of the piston 2 End 17 of needle 16 enters, as can also be seen in FIG. 6 leaves.
- FIG. 8 shows in an enlarged state that in FIG a dashed circle marked area of the back End portion of the piston 2.
- annular beads 20 and 21 are formed at an axial distance from one another, between which there is an annular trough-like depression 22 is located in the so-called storage position an outer annular bead or olive 23 engages the piston head 19.
- the outer diameter of the piston head in the area of the olive 23 agrees with the inside diameter of the cylinder 7 in the area of annular recess 22 substantially match, so that the Cylinder wall is not expanded.
- the cylinder 7 has one clear diameter, which is slightly smaller than the outer diameter of the piston head 19 in the area of the olive 23, so that at a liquid-tight seal when actuating the applicator between olive 23 and cylinder inner wall is guaranteed.
- FIG. 5 shows, the piston 2 with its annular bead 23 is under application a certain force by the rear annular bead 20 of the Cylinder pushed through, in this position in blocked in both axial directions by the annular beads 20 and 21 is.
- the piston 2 is through the front annular bead 21 is forced into that shown in FIG. 6 Position advanced from which the piston 2 automatically by the force of the spring arms 3 and 4 in the metering position returns, in which the olive 23 of the piston head in the Representation of Fig. 8 under the annular bead 21 adjacent to this located.
- This final metering position is shown in FIG. 7.
- FIG 9 shows an alternative embodiment of the piston head, which is provided here with an annular groove 24 into which an O-ring 25 is inserted.
- Fig. 10 shows an applicator for taking a blood sample is provided, on a scale of 1: 1.
