Hierzu sind Kurbeltriebe 17 und 18 vorgesehen, die jewils einem Messer 14, 15 zugeordnet sind.
Beide jeweils einem Messer 14, 15 zugeordneten Kurbeltriebe 17, 18 zusammen bilden eine Antriebsvorrichtung 16 der Schneidvorrichtung 4, 4' wobei jeder Kurbeltrieb 17, 18 zwei in Förderrichtung der Fördervorrichtung 3 beabstandete Kurbeln 19, 20 bzw. 21, 22 aufweist, an denen jeweils eines der mit ihrer Schneidrichtung parallel zur Förderrichtung angeordneten Messer 14, 15 endseitig angelenkt ist.

Diese Umlenkrichtung 69 kann als rotierendes Trägerorgan mit am Umfang befestigten Greifern ausgebildet sein, welchen die Druckprodukte nach dem Kopf-/Fussbeschnitt durch eine Fördervorrichtung 3 zugeführt und nach der Umlenkung an einen Transporteur 40 für den anschliessenden Frontbeschnitt abgegeben werden -etwa wie in den Fig. 1 bis 6 gezeigt-, oder dass anstelle eines Trägerorgans mit Greifern eine Umlenkrolle vorgesehen ist, durch welche die an einer endlosen Transportkette befestigten Greifer an die folgende Schneidvorrichtung für den Frontbeschnitt geführt werden.
Eine solche Ausführungsform wäre insofern vorteilhaft, als dass für den Frontbeschnitt an den Druckprodukten 2 die gleiche Schneidvorrichtung in gleicher Anordnungsweise benutzt werden könnte wie sie schon für Kopf- und/oder für Fussbeschnitt der Druckprodukte verwendet wird.
