Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a facade element in the form of a frame construction in element or post-and-beam construction for building facades in a thermally insulated design, consisting of several vertical posts and horizontal bars connected to the post, each consisting of two metal profiles, which by in the metal profiles engaging insulating webs are connected to one another, the posts and transoms forming fields between them for receiving tabular elements such as fixed glazing, wings, panels or the like.
Such facade elements are usually made at a height corresponding to the floor height of a building and to form a complete building facade assembled. Some of these facade elements form or cover the parapet area in which the fields are populated with opaque elements. Despite the heat-insulating design of the mullions and transoms, these contribute to a not inconsiderable proportion of heat loss due to the high heat transfer coefficient compared to the insulated parapet panel, which could be lower in some areas of the facade element.
The invention has for its object to provide a facade element of the type mentioned, in which in certain areas, in particular in the fields equipped with opaque elements, a reduction in heat transport is achieved via the frame profiles.
This object is achieved according to the invention in that individual or more of the two fields in each case delimiting profiles have cutouts or are completely omitted, the resulting space forming a receiving space for an insulation element which extends over several fields.
The advantage achieved by the invention consists essentially in that the thermal bridges formed by the profiles are interrupted by the free cuts or the complete elimination.
In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the clearances extend over the entire length between two bars or between the profile part delimiting the frame construction and the bar adjacent thereto. Furthermore, the clearances are expediently in the Fields located in the area of the parapet.
It has also proven to be particularly advantageous if all posts of a horizontal row of fields of the frame construction are provided with a free cut. In this case, the insulation element can extend over the entire length of the facade element. The free cut is expediently arranged in the metal profile of the post, which is located on the inside of the facade.
In a first advantageous embodiment, the cutout is arranged in the center of the metal profile, forming two holding strips delimiting the receiving space. In another expedient embodiment, on the other hand, the free cut extends in the metal profile to form a holding strip which delimits the receiving space on the inside of the facade and extends to the insulating webs.
In order to avoid a costly introduction of the clearances into the posts, the metal profile located towards the inside of the facade can be formed by two or three interconnected profile strands, one or both of the outside profile strands forming the retaining strips. Then the individual profile strands only have to be cut to length and joined together. For this, it is further advantageous if the profile strands are connected to one another via dovetail-shaped guide grooves.
In order to increase the reduced stiffness of the facade element due to the free cuts, the invention provides that the insulation element is provided with a rear wall on its surface facing the inside of the facade. To further increase the stability, this rear wall can be folded on the edge and encompass the insulation element laterally.
Furthermore, the rear wall can advantageously be provided with receiving grooves for the retaining strips, so that the entire space available can be filled by the insulating element.
To further increase the strength, the rear wall can be designed as a stiffening wall in two or more layers. There is in particular the possibility that several hollow chamber profiles are connected to the rear wall at a mutual distance as stiffening ribs. This further opens up the possibility of setting up the rear wall on its surface facing the inside of the facade for connecting a load hook, via which the facade element can be anchored to the shell.
As a further alternative embodiment, the rear wall can also be designed as a sandwich element.
A further increase in strength is finally possible in that rectangular or angular stiffening elements are arranged in the folds of the rear wall.

The facade element shown in the drawing in Fig. 1 consists of a frame construction in element construction and is intended for the erection of building facades. The facade element is constructed in a thermally insulated version and consists of a plurality of
The
In order to increase the thermal insulation in the parapet area in the facade element according to the invention, the
This construction, which can be seen in particular in FIG. 2, prevents direct metallic heat transport in the region of the receiving space transversely to the longitudinal extension of the
The post profiles can be formed in one piece, as can be seen from FIGS. 4 and 5. The profile according to FIG. 4 is suitable for an embodiment according to FIG. 2, the profile according to FIG. 5, however, is suitable for the embodiment according to FIG. 3.
In order to simplify the elaborate cutting of the profiles, the
Otherwise, the
