Definitions

  • the invention relates to an electrical switch with light indicator, which has a spring-loaded switching element which can be actuated by a pushbutton, the switching contacts of which act on connecting contacts arranged in the base of the switch housing, the connecting contacts being connected to at least one lighting element facing the pushbutton and arranged above the switching element.
  • switches have been known for a long time. It is important with these switches that they form a compact assembly which contains contacts and light source integrated, can be assigned in a confined space and, above all, are easy to assemble and ensure reliable operation over a long period of time with little effort.
  • a key with a light indicator for keyboards in office and teleprinters is known in which a side opening for a light-emitting diode is provided on the front of the key button in the viewing area of an operator, the light-emitting diode above and next to one Switching element is arranged.
