Abstract

Claims (6)

  1. A rail loading train for transporting long rails (5), comprising wagon frames (4) supported on on-track undercarriages (3), rail supports extending perpendicularly to the longitudinal direction of the wagon, and a roll body (9) fastened at the train's end to a wagon frame (4) and having guide members (15,16) for guiding the long rails (5), characterized in that the roll body (9) is supported on a guide (10) for displacement relative to the wagon frame (4), and a safety element (27) is provided for blocking the displaceability.
  2. A rail loading train according to claim 1, characterized in that the safety element (27) is designed as a bolt (35) extending perpendicularly to the longitudinal direction of the guide (10) and comprising a preset breaking point (38).
  3. A rail loading train according to claim 1, characterized in that the safety element (27) is formed as a force limiter (28), fastened to the guide (10) or the roll body (9), with a bolt (29) mounted for displacement perpendicularly to the longitudinal direction of the wagon or the direction of displacement and designed to be pressed against an indentation (30) on the roll body (9) or the guide (10) with a predetermined force by a spring bias.
  4. A rail loading train according to one of claims 1, 2 or 3, characterized in that associated with the roll body (9) is an emergency brake device (13) designed to initiate an emergency braking in the event of a relative movement of the roll body (9) with regard to the guide (10).
  5. A rail loading train according to one of claims 1 to 4, characterized in that the guide (10), extending approximately in the longitudinal direction of the wagon, is supported on the wagon frame (4) for pivoting about a vertical axis (12) by means of a drive (11).
  6. A rail loading train according to one of claims 1 to 4, characterized in that the roll body (9) is composed of two roll body parts (42,43) arranged symmetrically with regard to the longitudinal axis of a rail to be guided through, with at least one of the roll body parts being mounted for transverse displacement relative to the wagon frame (4) on a guide (10) extending perpendicularly to the longitudinal direction of the wagon, displaceability of the roll body part (42,43) being blocked by means of a safety element (27).
