- fastening devices are tailored to certain facade elements or suitable for certain types of apparatus, the fastening profiles both being complicated and often requiring intermediate pieces to fasten objects to them.
- a two-channel profile rail is known as a fastening device for cladding elements of a building. This is designed so that the clamping grooves comprise mutually opposing clamping edges.
- the elements to be fastened have approximately right-angled side walls with which they are inserted into the clamping grooves.
- the clamping edges fix the elements here, the elastic holding force being applied by a slight, elastic deformation of the profile rail.
- the profile rail 1 shows the profile rail 1 according to the invention in plan view, see also FIG. 6.

- a first measure is that all three profiles are designed as hollow profiles, whereby the resilient effect of the walls involved is achieved due to the elasticity of the material, for example extruded aluminum alloy.
- a second measure consists in the design of the two clamping walls.
- the symmetrically constructed central profile 3 has two clamping walls 8 and 9, each of which has a central, symmetrical clamping edge 10 or 11 and an outer, asymmetrical clamping edge 12 or 13, the two outer clamping edges more guiding the corresponding part of the part to be clamped
- the object serves as the actual clamping.
- the cavity 14 in the central profile continues laterally towards the two middle clamping edges 10 and 11, so that these clamping edges do not consist of a full profile, but rather a better spring effect is achieved through the cavity contained therein. This spring action is further supported by the inwardly convex shape of the clamping walls 8, 9.
- the two clamping walls 8 and 9 Opposite the two clamping walls 8 and 9 are the side clamping walls 15 and 16 of the two side profiles 4 and 5. Offset from the clamping edges 10 and 11 are asymmetrical on the side clamping walls, barb-like first 17, 18 and second clamping edges 19, 20.

- 3 shows that the facade elements 23 can be additionally or exclusively secured in that a fastening screw 24 can be inserted into the central profile 3 transversely to the connecting plane between the edges 10 and 11 at certain intervals. In this way, a force can be generated by which the central clamping edges 10, 11 are spread apart.
- FIG. 4 shows a further variant of securing facade elements, the side walls 25 of the elements 26 having cams or barbs 27 which engage behind the suitably undercut, outer clamping edges 12, 13 in order to securely access the facade elements 23 in the profile strip 1 fasten.
- 5 shows the gluing of the facade elements 23 by means of an adhesive 28 as a further variant.
- the invention is not limited to the fastening of facade elements and instead of such elements, webs, side walls, panels, flat parts or legs of apparatuses or the like can be inserted into the clamping grooves 6, 7 in order to fasten them.
- other fastening tabs are provided on the profile rail, or other fastening means to fasten the profile rail to the wall or to another component.
- FIG. 6 shows a perspective view, partially in section, of the fastening of clamped facade elements 23 in the profile rail 1 to a substructure which is fastened to the static base 33 of a building.
- the fastening tab 2 of the profile rail 1 is fastened to a fastening piece 29 which is anchored to the static base by means of, for example, a screw 31 via an insulation layer 30.
- An insulation layer 32 is arranged behind the facade elements.
- the fastening device according to the invention is ideally suited for fastening facade elements or apparatus cladding or the like to a substructure without visible fastening elements.
- this attachment can be carried out extremely easily by simply clamping it into the profile rail, the additional safety measures which may be required can be carried out very easily by screwing screws 24 into the holes provided or applying some adhesive 28 to the parts to be introduced becomes.
- the suitable and necessary clamping action of the grooves 6, 7, it is not necessary to provide the exact profile according to FIG. 1. It is sufficient to provide at least two clamping edges, i.e. one edge on one clamping wall and one edge on the cooperating second clamping wall.
