Abstract

The floor unit consists of an alloy frame, whose side rails have cross sections with vertical inner (107) and outer (108), and horizontal lower and upper walls. The rails also have grooves (130) and ribs for centring purposes when stacking. A rib (136) is provided on the side rail to limit skidding, and which is separated by a ventilation and drainage groove (80) from the edge (43) of the floor board (45). The base (70) of groove lies beneath the level of the supporting surface (41) for the board. The base of the groove can also be wider than the minimum separation between the end face of the board and the groove wall (42). <IMAGE>

Description

The invention relates to a scaffolding floor with a frame-like support structure composed of profile parts, which contains longitudinal spars, which are formed from sections of light metal extruded profile parts and wherein the profile has a vertical inner wall, a vertical outer wall, a horizontal lower wall, an upper wall and others Has support, support and reinforcing means, under which a lower centering rib and an upper stacking centering fold are provided and wherein a plate forming the running surface of the scaffold floor is fastened to the support formation.

There are a large number of scaffold floors, including those that have a frame structure on which a plate is attached.

Wood has proven particularly useful for such panels for a variety of reasons. Especially with laminated timber, the edge is severely affected by water and other liquids, accumulating moisture and a lack of air circulation. This even applies to the scaffold frame floor, as shown for example in DE-A 40 11 624.

For edge protection, there are also overlapping profile parts of the light metal side rails, e.g. used in the construction according to DE-A 35 39 507. Even with this one could not achieve any particular long-term success because either the edge protection was bad or the edge protection was good and the ventilation was bad.

The invention has for its object to propose a solution for a scaffolding floor with the features mentioned, in which improvements in edge protection, slip resistance for the user and, above all, ventilation and liquid drainage are given by sensible design of the spar profile.

According to the invention, a drainage and ventilation groove is formed between a displacement-limiting rib and its rebate wall on the one hand and the edge of the plate, the groove base of which lies below the contact surface of the plate.

Because a sufficiently large ventilation space is formed next to the edge of the plate with a channel lying deeper, water can always drain off well and even under the edge moisture can be expelled from the area of the contact surfaces. Capillary action due to wide contact surfaces and / or narrow contact gaps cannot occur, so that the usual enemies of wood and plywood are not attacked.

It can also be provided that the groove base is wider than the smallest distance between the end face of the plate and the rebate wall.
Furthermore, it can be provided that the bearing surface for the edge of the plate is designed with support and anti-slip ribs and ventilation grooves formed between them.
It can also be provided that the upper treads of the longitudinal spars are spaced above the running surface of the plate.
Furthermore, it can be provided that the upper tread of the displacement limiting rib is designed with flat ribs and dirt and water channels lying between them.
It can further be provided that the entire profile of the longitudinal spars is formed with essentially the same wall thickness, with the exception of the centering rib and the displacement-limiting rib.
Furthermore, it can be provided that the profile essentially delimits a smooth-walled cavity with a rectangular cross section, which in the area next to the plate has an essentially rectangular, narrow continuation upwards.
The frame is sturdy, so that even after prolonged use, if the load-bearing capacity of the plate decreases, the risk of accidents is prevented.
By lowering the underbody of the channel and, if necessary, having a special inclination or configuration, the liquid can be better drained off.

In addition, the known stacking property is retained, and the scaffold frame base is designed in a sensible manner through a sensibly stable design in the area of the stacking rib and a strong tread-like edge.

Further aspects, advantages and features of the invention also result from the further claims and the following description part, which is dealt with on the basis of the drawings.

An embodiment of the invention is described below with reference to the drawings.

In Fig. 1 only a small part of a scaffold is shown. In this case, the stems 20 carry perforated disks 21, which are known per se, according to the spacing of the scaffolding system. Between the stems 20, a support bolt 22 is fastened to the perforated disks 21 with the aid of connecting heads 30. The support bar 22 is designed as an upwardly open U-profile. The upper ends of the vertical legs 27.1 and 27.2 of the support bar 22 are designed as support edges 23 for the support hooks 25 of the scaffold floor 26. The connection heads 30 are designed in a known manner with slots and plugged onto the perforated disks 21 and secured to them with wedges 34. In this or a similar way, many scaffolding days are realized in one scaffold. This section is only shown to illustrate how the longitudinal beam profiles according to the invention are arranged with their designs in the entire framework.

As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the scaffold floor 26 selected here as an example has three support hooks 25 on each end face, which are fastened to an end cap 29 in the usual way. This is fastened in the usual way with rivets 28, as indicated in FIG. 5.

The longitudinal bars 38.1 and 38.2 are connected by at least one transverse bracing 36, for example welded between them. A plate 45 made of suitably produced plywood or other material has an edge 43. This is fastened with rivets 47 at a suitable distance on the respective longitudinal spar 38.1 or 38.2. In all of the drawings, except for FIGS. 1 and 2, only the left longitudinal spar 38.1 is shown in detail for the sake of clarity. The right longitudinal spar 38.2 is designed in the same way, but is arranged in mirror image and fastened accordingly.

The longitudinal bars 38.1 and 38.2 together with the end caps 29 and the transverse stiffeners 36 form a stable frame which forms the support formation 37 of the scaffold floor 26.

As shown in FIGS. 3 to 5, it has contact surfaces 41 which extend approximately over half the outer width 145 of the profiles 100 of the longitudinal spars 38.1 to 38.4 and each extend to approximately the middle.

Support surfaces 41 are designed for good adhesion with support and anti-slip ribs 48 and ventilation grooves 49 (FIG. 4) formed between them, so that the plate 45 can also be fastened in a well-ventilated manner. The plate 45 can be formed from heat-resistant glued plywood with an anti-slip layer or another material that is common in scaffolding. It has a running surface 46 of the scaffolding floor 26 as the surface. With the aid of rivets 47 arranged at suitable intervals, for example hollow rivets or blind rivets, the edge 43 is riveted to the longitudinal spars 38.1 to 38.4.

The profile 100 of each longitudinal bar 38.1 to 38.4 is a light metal extrusion profile which is cut off at the ends 39.1 and 39.2. The angled tabs 32 are riveted into the ends in a conventional manner.

The profile 100 has a lower wall 105, an upper wall 106, an inner wall 107 and an outer wall 108. In the lower outer corner 109, a known, essentially semi-cylindrical centering rib 110 is formed below the lower wall 105. It serves to reinforce and support the scaffold floor when it is placed on a support base and in particular to center the position when stacking, as shown in FIG. 5.

Otherwise, the bottom wall 105 is guided on its outer surface 111 smoothly and horizontally. It merges with a rounded or beveled corner 112 into the smooth outer surface 113 of the vertical inner wall 107.

Above the corner 109, the lower wall 105 is adjoined by the outer wall 108 which is vertical here and which extends smoothly up to the upper corner rib. This projects beyond the outer wall 108 by the amount 128 and here forms a special reinforcement which also forms the upper wall 131 as a support in the stacking centering fold 130. The stacking centering fold has a width 125 which is slightly larger than the width 124 of the centering rib 110. As shown in FIG. 5, it is spatially arranged in such a way that lateral displacement is avoided when two floors are stacked one on top of the other.

The displacement limiting rib 136 here has approximately the same width as the stack centering fold 130 and forms an upper tread surface 87 which has flat ribs 52 and dirt and water channels 51 therebetween.

It merges into a rabbet wall 42, which is either arranged approximately vertically or, as in this exemplary embodiment, runs downwards to widen the groove. It extends to the groove bottom 70 of the drainage and ventilation groove 80, which is between the Vertical surface 81 is formed on the edge 43 of the plate 45 and the fold wall 42 and has a minimum width 83 with respect to the outermost support rib 84 of the support surface 41. This is so large that it can be conveniently moved into the drainage and ventilation groove 80 with a trowel or spatula for cleaning. The tread 87 lies next to the drainage and ventilation groove 80 at a considerable distance above the bearing surface 41. The distance 85 above the running surface 46 of the plate 45 is so great that the edge of the plate is automatically protected, but on the other hand no such large cavities are formed that you could get stuck with shoes or heels, but above all there is enough space so that liquid can drain off and the end faces of the plates 45 can be ventilated on all sides, so that the existing wood cannot rot, even after many years of use, from standing water and lack of ventilation tends. Under certain circumstances, excessive use of mold protection agents and the like can be dispensed with.

An important part of the description is given below:
The scaffold frame floor has longitudinal bars (38.2) with a box profile. These have a centering rib (110) on the lower outer corner and a stacking centering fold (130) in the upper outer corner next to a displacement limiting rib (136). This is at a distance from the edge (43) of the plate (45) and thereby forms a drainage and ventilation groove (80).
