Claims (8)

  1. Langgestrecktes Metallprofil mit im Wesentlichen viereckigem Querschnitt vom Typ mit zwei Flanken, einer oberen (7) und einer unteren (8), die jeweils in der Lage sind, eine Auflagefläche (7A, 7B, 8A, 8B) für wenigstens eine Platte (3, 4) wie etwa eine Glasscheibe zu bilden, zwei parallelen seitlichen Flanken (5, 6) und wenigstens einer ersten an jeder seitlichen Flanke in der Nähe einer Auflagefläche vorgesehenen longitudinalen Rille (16-19), wobei die erste Rille geformt ist, um eine Wasserabflussrinne zu bilden, wenn die zugeordnete Auflagefläche der oberen Flanke entspricht, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass wenigstens eine zweite longitudinale Rille an jeder Seitenflanke vorgesehen ist, die geformt ist, um eine Wasserabflussrinne zu bilden, wenn das Profil in invertierter Position ist, und dass der Abstand zwischen dem Boden der ersten Rille und der nächstliegenden Auflagefläche größer ist als der entsprechende Abstand zwischen dem Boden der zweiten Rille und der anderen Auflagefläche.
  2. Profil nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die oberen Auflageflächen (7A, 7B) und die unteren Auflageflächen (8A, 8B) parallel sind, und dass das Profil in Bezug auf eine zu den Auflageflächen parallele longitudinale Ebene (I,I) eine Asymmetrie aufweist.
  3. Profil nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die oberen Auflageflächen (7A, 7B) und die unteren Auflageflächen (8A, 8B) parallel sind und dass es eine Symmetrie in Bezug auf eine zu den Auflageflächen senkrechte longitudinale Ebenen (II, II) aufweist.
  4. Profil nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass jede Auflagefläche (7, 8) in zwei Teile (7A, 7B, 8A, 8B) durch eine longitudinale Ausnehmung (9, 10) unterteilt ist, die in der Lage ist, Mittel (11, 12, 13) zur Befestigung der Platten an dem Profil aufzunehmen und mit diesen zusammenzuwirken.
  5. Profil nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass es aus einem einer Biegung und plastischen Verformung unterzogenen Metallrohr hergestellt ist.
  6. Profil nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass es durch Biegen aus stumpf verschweißten Metallstreifen oder -blechen hergestellt ist.
  7. Profil nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Rillen ein V mit einer zu den Auflageoberflächen schrägen Achse bilden.
  8. Satz von identischen Profilen (1, 2) nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die zwei Profile (1, 2) senkrecht zueinander angeordnet sind und ihre Auflagefläche (7A, 7B, 27A, 27B) in einer gemeinsamen Ebene haben, wobei die Rillen (18, 19) in der Nähe der oberen Flanke des ersten Profils (1) die tieferen und die des zweiten Profils (2) die weniger tiefen sind, wobei der Boden der weniger tiefen Rillen (30, 31) auf einem Niveau oberhalb der unteren Ränder der tieferen Rillen (18, 19) angeordnet ist, so dass die Rillen (30, 31) des zweiten Profils (2) in der Lage sind, in die Rillen (18, 19) des ersten Profils (1) zu entwässern.
