Description
The invention relates to a rotary edge turner for weaving machines, by means of which the wefts through a twist tie be tied at the fabric edges.
From DE-OS 24 23 454 an arrangement for solidifying a fabric edge by a leno weave is known. This arrangement according to the preamble of
The rotating disc has two slots for the leno threads arranged symmetrically to its central axis.
The drive of the edge turner arranged on both sides of the weaving machine next to the edge warp threads takes place in such a way that the rotary disc forming the actual edge rotator is in a rotationally driven connection with a drive wheel via a toothed belt.
The drive wheel is non-rotatably connected to and driven by a gear-driven countershaft. The countershaft is in turn connected to the main drive of the weaving machine by a toothed belt.
To adapt the known arrangement to different weaving widths is the countershaft with a weave width adjustment projecting hollow shaft connected, in which a the drive of the second rotary disc and the drive of the second rotating coil holder producing shaft part is movable.
Such a drive is expensive, not space-saving, not independent of the main drive and not individually controllable.
From US 2,676,618 A, a rotary edge turner for weaving machines is known, in which the direction of rotation can be reversed by means of eccentric angle levers, the eccentric angle levers preferably being driven by the loom drive.
From JP 03 069 627 A a satellite driver with a drive independent of the machine drive is known.
Also known from DE-OS 28 32 131 is a so-called satellite turning device for forming fabric edges on defenseless weaving machines. The rotating disc has external teeth. Furthermore, the rotating disc is rotatably mounted in a bezel-like manner.
The leno threads are drawn off from a bobbin winder, which is rotationally driven and operatively connected to the rotating disc, and fed to a guide opening located centrally in the rotating disc.
The rotating disc also has two diametrically opposed eyelets in the rotating disc, through which the thread is guided to the weaving point of the fabric.
The external toothing of the rotating disc is in engagement with the teeth of a drive gear which drives the rotating coil holder in synchronism with the rotating disc. No information can be found from this previously known document about the type of drive source of the turning device. However, it can be assumed that the drive, as is generally known, is derived from the main drive of the weaving machine.
This drive is also expensive because it cannot be easily adapted to different weaving widths of the machine.
Such a lathe device is also associated with considerable disadvantages for the manufacturer and the operator of the weaving machine.
A relatively large amount of space is required on the right and left of the weaving chain to classify the device in the weaving machine.
Such a lathe device is usually arranged in the area of the rear compartment. However, this means that the number of usable heald frames is limited and the length of the leno threads, measured from the leno device to the point at which the weft thread is tied, is relatively large.
This length creates a very flat leno thread compartment. Such a flat specialist training ensures but not always that every weft thread properly into that Leno thread compartment.
Against this background, it is therefore an object of the invention one while avoiding the disadvantages of the prior art, individually controllable and therefore independent of the weaving machine drive to create drivable rotary edge rotators with which on each side of the fabric the individual Weft threads can be tied firmly and a quality-appropriate and permanent fabric edge can be produced.
In contrast to the prior art, the edge turner should Not separated from the weaving machine for the purpose of changing articles and the edge turner should easily be sent to different Web widths are customizable. This is said to be significant Saving of makeready times can be achieved in the weaving mills.
Another object of the invention is to provide a separate drive for receiving the leno bobbins Dispense holder (carousel). Such a drive is said to according to the prior art prevent the leno threads wrap around each other in the back compartment. About thread breaks To avoid this, the leno threads must be untwisted be fed to the rotating disc.
In contrast to the relatively low leno thread capacity of the Rotary coils of a satellite rotator should be the inventive Solution further allow conventional rotating coils so-called king coils can continue to be used. This means long machine run times, in contrast to use of satellite rotating coils.
Despite the fact that the leno bobbins are one Satellite turner only a relatively low leno thread capacity own, it is also an object of the invention in a Rotary edge turner alternatively to outside of the edge turner to dispose of arranged leno bobbins.
Merkmale des Anspruchs 1.According to the invention the object is achieved by the features of
The sub-claims contain preferred design features of
With the electromotive actuator it is now possible for the first time to control the sequence of movements of the individual edge twists independently of one another and independently of the weaving machine drive.
It is conceivable, for example, that the setting of the weft threads can take place depending on the type of the weft thread and that the setting of the weft thread on the side of the weft thread insertion is before the setting of the weft thread on the weft thread arrival side.
Durch die individuelle Ansteuerung sind z.B. Bordüren und
Schußverdichtungen mit unterschiedlichen Bindungen ohne zusätzlichen
Vorrichtungsaufwand herstellbar.
So sind Einfachbindungen und Bindungsaussetzer allein durch
entsprechende Ansteuerung des Stellantriebes des jeweiligen
Rotations-Kantendrehers erreichbar.Due to the individual control, borders and weft densifications with different bindings can be produced without additional device effort.
Single bindings and binding misfires can only be achieved by appropriate control of the actuator of the respective rotary edge rotator.
Through a controlled reversal of the direction of rotation of the rotating disc, ultimately including an oscillating reversal of the direction of rotation can be understood, can be on the drive of the rotary coil holder to be dispensed with, because in any case the twists or Wrapping of the leno threads on the way between the leno bobbins and the rotating disc, caused by a certain number of right turns of the rotating disc, by the same number of left turns of the same rotating disc, be canceled again.
It is with the servomotor-driven rotary edge driver also easily possible within the weaving machine control a speed comparison between the shedding device and the speed of rotation of the rotary edge rotator to bring about in such a way that the movement of the Specialist organs for the formation of the shed geometry almost is congruent with the sequence of movements of the rotary edge rotator to form the geometry of the lathe compartment. This ensures that the weft threads are also correct pass the leno pocket on the left and right side of the warp threads or be entered in this.
For example, with the inventive arrangement of the edge-turning function elements in a housing, a self-contained edge-turning device can also be created, which can be attached individually within the weaving machine and whose functional elements are largely shielded from the fiber fly.
Advantageously, this edge turner can be installed as close as possible to the weaving point and between the shaft frame and the healds of the first heald frames, as seen in the opposite direction to the weaving direction, according to the reed. This means that the number of usable heald frames in the direction of the warp beam is not limited by edge turning devices.
Due to the compact design of the edge turner is in the case an article change or a web width adjustment rapid positioning of the edge turner on the changed ones Conditions on the weaving machine possible.
Compared to a conventional satellite driver that works in Weaving direction seen in front of the heald frames, i.e. in the weaving direction seen after the warp beam, is arranged with the arrangement of the rotary edge rotator according to the invention within of the first heald frames before the reed clearly shows that the stroke the leno threads when using a rotary edge turner only is about 80 mm while the leno threads with a satellite twister have to perform a stroke of approximately 180 mm to achieve a to achieve sufficient leno thread compartment opening.
