Die Erfindung betrifft eine Walze, insbesondere für Textilbehandlungsmaschinen oder dgl., mit einem zwischen zwei metallischen Stirnscheiben auf einem zylindrischen Tragkörper gehaltenen, rohrförmigen Walzenkörper, dessen Mantelflächen aus dehnbarem Werkstoff, z.B. Dabei soll die Möglichjkeit bestehen, den Umfang aus einzelnen, mit Abstand voneinander oder aus miteinander zu einem Mantel verbundenen Rohrkranzleisten zu bilden, in deren mit dem Tuch in Berührung kommender Oberfläche keine Bohrungen, Schrauben oder offene Nuten sein sollen.
