The pipe connection (9) of the lower water tank (3) is relative poorly accessible. To simplify the connection of the pipe (13), is in the opening of the water tank (3) in the area of Pipe connection (9) only one end of a pipe bend (12) soldered, at the other end of the pipe connection (14) with the connecting piece (15a) is provided. This pipe connection (14) is on the side next to the radiator (1) and is relatively accessible. The pipe connection is according to the 4, so that subsequently on Fig. 4 is referred. The connecting piece (15a) of the pipe connection (14) is with the connector described in detail (15) identical to FIGS. 2 and 3. That too tight insertion of the tube (13) into the connecting piece (15a) is identical to the described embodiment. The end of the connection area of the connection piece (15a), however placed on the outside of the tube end of the tube (12a) and soldered to this outside. This soldered connection corresponds to the connection of the connecting piece (15a) with the Pipe elbow (12), so that in this respect for a further explanation can be dispensed with. The inside diameter of the connection area the connecting piece (15a) corresponds to the outer diameter the tube end of the tube (12a), so that when soldering of the connection area with the pipe end all around tight connection between the connecting piece (15a) and the Pipe end of the tube (12a) is created.
Also in this embodiment, the connecting piece (15b) has a tubular connection area and an adjoining Stop collar on, the connecting piece (15b) by means of its connection area in an opening of a wall of a Water box (2a) is used. The opening is from one bounded to the outside protruding peripheral edge. Here too the connection piece (15b) is tight in its connection area soldered to the edge of the opening of the water tank (2a). Of the Collar (18) of the plugged into the connecting piece (15b) Tube end of the tube (10) is however in this version not by a plug-in bracket, but by means of a a screw-secured tab (23) tight in the connecting piece (15b) held. The outwardly protruding edge of the Connection piece (15b) is on two opposite sides folded over to increase stability, creating a hooking edge (22) and a receiving area (25) for a screw (24) results. On the hooking edge (22) of the connector (15b) becomes a hook-shaped part of an existing sheet metal Suspended securing tab (23), which the collar (18) similar to the securing clip described above. On the opposite side is the securing tab (23) provided with a hole through which the screw (24) can be pushed is. To screw the screw (24) in To enable the recording area (25), this recording area (25) a thread passage (26). Once the screw (24) is therefore screwed into the receiving area (25), it clamps the securing tab (23), whereby the collar (18) is pressed tightly into the connecting piece (15b).
An embodiment of the invention, not shown, corresponds essentially the representation of FIGS. 5 and 6. In this embodiment is the lower edge of the connection area of the connecting piece with a radial after provided on the inside with a corresponding notch Notch at the lower edge of the outer surface of the tube at Inserting the tube is engaged. This is ensures that the pipe is only in a certain position the connecting piece can be used.
