- Cylinder lock designed to be operated by a key according to any one of claims 1 to 3, comprising a stationary part (16) in which a barrel (17) is mounted to be displaceable in rotation under the action of the key, the said barrel including a displacing member (12) for a thrust member acting on at least one movable pin (26, 28) preventing rotation of the barrel, to displace it into a position allowing rotation of the barrel (17) with respect to the stationary part (16), characterised in that the said displacing member (12) is a spindle mounted in the barrel (17) and extending transverse to the keyhole (18), the said spindle being designed to be engaged in the gap (11) between the limbs (7, 8) of the fork at the end of the key on its insertion in the keyhole in the barrel (17) to cause displacement of the said pin (26, 28) by one of the thrust members (13, 14) mounted in the limbs (7, 8) of the said fork at the end of the key.
- Cylinder lock according to claim 4, characterised in that the said spindle (12) is arranged in the barrel (17) in such as way as to be engaged in the gap (11) between the limbs (7, 8) of the fork of the key in an asymmetrical manner and to be present close to that lateral surface of the gap defined by the inside wall of the limb (7) in which is mounted the thrust member (13) actuated by the spindle (12) and to be spaced away from the inside surface of the limb (8) in which the other thrust member (14) is mounted, through a distance equal to or greater than the useful travel of the thrust member actuated by the spindle to shift the said pin (26, 28) and put it in a position to release the barrel (17) for rotation with respect to the stationary part (16).
- Cylinder lock according to one of claims 4 and 5, characterised in that the spindle (12) is arranged in the barrel (17) with respect to the said pin(26, 28) of the barrel (17) with an axial offset towards the inner end of the keyhole (18) with the aim of allowing, during the withdrawal of the key, and when the thrust members (13, 14) cease contact with the spindle (12), the thrust member (13 or 14) to be pushed back towards the interior of its hole (31), provided in the limb (7 or 8) of the fork (6) of the key by engagement by the pin (24, 28) acted on by an elastic member (30) serving to restore the pin (26, 28) to the locking position.
