Abstract

L'invention concerne un dispositif pour injecter des additifs liquides en continu dans un fluide. Le dispositif comprend un système d'éducteurs à jet pour prédiluer les additifs. Applications à l'industrie pétrolière, parapétrolière, de la construction et analogues.

Description

La présente invention concerne un dispositif permettant d'injecter en continu, et de manière homogène, un ou plusieurs additifs liquides dans un fluide principal circulant dans un conduit.
Dans le brevet CH-A-559574 est décrit un dispositif pour mélanger un additif liquide avec un liquide principal dans un "by-pass" disposé autour d'un conduit principal comportant une pompe à jet comprenant une tubulure pour l'admission dudit additif. Le fluide principal sert comme fluide moteur dans la pompe à jet. Le mélange est réintroduit dans le courant principal.
Notamment dans l'industrie pétrolière, parapétrolière, du nettoyage industriel et de la construction, un problème sérieux et bien connu depuis très longtemps réside dans la grande difficulté d'injecter avec précision une quantité d'additifs liquides ou semi-liquides dans un fluide principal, en continu.
Il est en effet impératif de doser avec précision les additifs, c'est-à-dire de contrôler très précisément le débit, la quantité et l'homogénéité des injections réalisées.
Cela est devenu d'autant plus important que les modèles mathématiques, les capteurs, les logiciels d'opération et l'informatique ont permis d'atteindre une très grande précision dans les opérations, la limite de cette précision étant de plus en plus souvent celle imposée par l'injection des additifs.
Selon la présente invention, les additifs sont injectés après une pré-dilution dans une partie dérivée du courant principal de fluide.
Tous les dipositifs permettant une telle opération de dérivation et de pré-dilution conviennent à la mise en oeuvre de l'invention.
Le meilleur mode de réalisation de l'invention est décrit sur la Fig. 1 annexée.
Il s'agit d'un système à éducteurs à jet (2) disposés radialement autour du conduit (1) dans lequel circule le fluide principal (F).
Chaque éducteur est monté en dérivation ou "by-pass" et comprend une tubulure (3) d'admission d'un additif liquide ou semi-liquide (A).
Le principe de l'éducteur à jet est connu. Une partie du fluide (F) est dérivée (f) par aspiration hors du courant principal (F) et est mélangée dans la chambre de mélange (4) avec l'additif injecté en (3). Ce mélange, qui consiste donc en l'additif (A) pré-dilué dans le fluide (F) est réintroduit (f') dans le courant principal.
On constate une amélioration très sensible de la précision des injections, par rapport à des systèmes classiques.
Exemple : Laitier de Ciment
On a utilisé le dispositif selon l'invention de la Fig. 1 pour évaluer l'injection d'un additif très visqueux dans un courant de laitier de ciment.
L'essai a été conduit avec un produit marqueur (CuSO4) dispersé dans l'additif, et par l'enregistrement de la concentration en marqueur.
On a également effectué la meme injection, de manière classique, par une injection coaxiale (c'est-à-dire injection de l'additif par un conduit coaxial au conduit (1)) ou par une injection latérale (c'est-à-dire injection par un conduit latéral ouvert dans le conduit (1)).
Dans les trois cas, l'injection a été effectuée dans le conduit de suction de fluide d'un mélangeur à vortex du type VIP Mixer(TM).
Les caractéristiques du laitier ainsi préparé étaient les suivantes :
  • débit : 4 bpm
  • densité : 15 ppg
  • débit de suction d'eau (à l'entrée du VIP Mixer) : 2,5 bpm.
Les résultats sont représentés
  • sur la Fig. 2 pour l'injection coaxiale
  • sur la Fig. 3 pour l'injection latérale (injection à 90º du conduit (1))
  • sur la Fig. 4 pour l'injection utilisant le dispositif selon l'invention.
Des diagrammes colorés (Fig. 2-4) se trouvent dans le dossier de la demande de brevet.
On remarque une amélioration extremement marquée de la qualité de l'injection.
Le VIP Mixer est un mélangeur rotatif à vortex, fonctionnant en continu, décrit dans la demande de brevet européen EP Nº 91200440.5.
L'invention est également particulièrement utile pour la préparation de boues ou fluides de forage.
Un autre aspect d'application particulièrement prometteur concerne le dosage en continu d'additifs dans les fluides de séparation ou "spacers" de l'industrie pétrolière. L'invention permet pour la première fois de faire varier continûment les propriétés du "spacer", au lieu de les faire varier par paliers. Il en résulte une différence très importante en terme de qualité de l'opération.

Claims (5)

  1. Dispositif de préparation en continu d'un mélange fluide, comportant un conduit principal (1) pour l'admission d'un fluide principal (F) et au moins un conduit "by-pass" radialement disposé autour du conduit principal (1) et comportant une pompe à jet comprenant une tubulure (3) pour l'admission d'un ou plusieurs additifs liquides ou semi-liquides (A) comme fluide moteur de la pompe à jet (2) de sorte qu'une partie (f) du fluide principal (F) est aspirée hors du conduit principal (1) pour être pré-mélangée avec le ou les additifs (A) avant d'être réintroduite dans le conduit principal (1).
  2. Procédé de préparation d'un mélange fluide, comprenant l'alimentation d'un fluide principal (F) dans un conduit principal (1), l'aspiration d'une partie (f) du fluide principal (F) dans au moins une pompe à jet (2) intégrée dans un conduit "by-pass" respectif disposé radialement autour du conduit principal (1), l'injection dans la tubulure (3) d'admission du fluide moteur de la pompe à jet respective d'un ou plusieurs additifs (A) liquides ou semi-liquides pour former un pré-mélange (f') avec la partie (f) du fluide principal (F) aspirée par la pompe à jet respective, la réintroduction du pré-mélange (f') dans le courant principal circulant dans le conduit principal (1).
  3. Procédé selon la revendication 2, caractérisé en ce qu'il comporte en outre une mesure du débit du fluide F dans le conduit principal (1) après le mélange avec les additifs (A)
  4. Procédé selon la revendication 2 appliqué à la préparation d'un laitier de ciment.
  5. Procédé selon la revendication 2 appliqué à la préparation d'un fluide de séparation ou "spacer".
