Die Düsenbalkenabschnitte 5" der seitlichen Trägerteile 7 sind in Verlängerung der Düsenbalkenabschnitte 5 angeordnet und über flexible Dampfleitungen 3' gespeist. Mit den seitlichen Trägerteilen 7 werden die außerhalb der Schienen liegenden Seitenteile des Schotterbettes überstrichen. Die äußeren Seitenwände der Seitenteile 7 können länger ausgebildet sein als die inneren Seitenwände.
