Der sich in Längsrichtung des Fahrgestells erstreckende Träger ist höhenverstellbar und außerhalb der Schienen mit zwei angelenkten, ebenfalls Dampfrohre tragenden Seitenteilen versehen, welche die Seitenabschnitte des Schotterbettes überstreichen. Die bekannte Ausführung ist konstruktiv infolge der Vielzahl von Dampftlüsenrohren, welche über die gesamte Fläche des Trägers verteilt sind, relativ aufwendig und wegen des nach allen Seiten relativ unbehinderten Dampfaustrittes leistungsschwach. Die Erfindung zielt darauf ab, eine Vorrichtung der einleitend angegebenen Art zu schaffen, welche bei effi¬ zienter Vernichtungswirkung durch Verwendung von Wasser¬ dampf eine ausgezeichnete Umweltverträglichkeit bietet, d.h. weder das Grundwasser verunreinigt noch das biologi¬ sche Gleichgewicht des Bodens stört, und welche infolge verbesserter Konstruktion gegenüber der bekannten Ausfüh¬ rung eine effizientere und wirtschaftlichere Behandlung selbst von langen Fahrwegen gewährleistet. Wesentlich ist aber, daß zumindest eir. Reihe von vertikalen Düsen und eine Reihe von schräg verlaufenden Düsen vorhanden ist. Es kann auch mehr als ein Düsenbalken vorhanden sein. Vorrichtung zum Vernichten von unerwünschtem Pflanzenwuchs im Bereich von Fahrwegen, insbesondere auf Gleisbetten, mit einem Fahrzeug, insbesondere Schie¬ nenfahrzeug, auf welchem ein Dampferzeugungsaggregat montiert ist, an dessen Dampfausgang Dampfdüsen ange¬ schlossen sind, die zumindest einen quer zur Fahrtrichtung im wesentlichen über die Fahrwegbreite verlaufenden Düsen¬ balken bilden, der unterhalb des Fahrgestells des Fahr¬ zeuges mittels eines höhenverstellbaren Trägers montiert ist, wobei ferner um eine in Fahrtrichtung verlaufende Achse verschwenkbare seitliche Trägerteile mit Düsenbalken- abschnitten vorgesehen sind, die in Verlängerung des Düsenbalkens verlaufen, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Träger (6) als nach unten offene Haube mit einem Boden, Seitenwänden und Stirnwänden ausgebildet ist, daß der Düsenbalken (5) am Haubenboden in Fahrtrichtung verstell¬ bar, vorzugsweise in dem in Fahrtrichtung ersten vorderen Drittel der Trägererstreckung, um eine quer zur Fahrtrich¬ tung verlaufende Schwenkachse (A) schwenkbar montiert ist und zumindest zwei zur Fahrtrichtung unterschiedlich geneigte Reihen (4*, 4") von Düsen aufweist, und daß die schwenkbaren seitlichen Trägerteile (7) jeweils ebenfalls als Haube ausgebildet und ihre Schwenkachse (B) am Fahrzeug (1) sowohl höhenverstellbar als auch quer zur Fahrtrichtung verstellbar montiert ist.1.
