Abstract

A composite section consists of a metal section (A) for primarily static purposes, a facing timber component (C, C1) and a plastic component (B) in which the last-mentioned lies between the first two to anchor them and provides facilities for the subsequent dismantling (5c) of the metal section (A) and limited transverse movement (X) between them. A covering flange (7) in one piece with the plastic component (B) makes it possible to fit a seal extruded thereon and protect the timber component in this region. The hanging flanges (5) which at least partly cover the metal section (A) are constructed in such a way that they mate with the plastic or plastic-coated channel (9) for the installation of the fittings in order completely to cover the metal sections (A) in the space (I) formed by the door frame and the wing frame when closed in the region between the seals (7a-8).

Description

Composite profiles are known for the production of door and window frames which have been developed primarily for the purpose of interrupting cold bridges between the profile part exposed to the weather and the profile part exposed to the living and / or working temperature. In addition to special embodiments of these composite profiles, different material properties are also used to achieve special aesthetic effects and / or more comfort; this type of composite profiles includes those which consist of a metal part and a wooden part, these two parts being connected, for example by foam or extruded plastic profiles. This last type of composite profile in particular is known from IT-1 240 660, IT-1 242 273, IT-1 242 275 (Gasser Metallbau by Gasser Erwin) and already solves the problem of the different thermal expansion coefficients of the various materials which form the composite profile, taking into account above all the need for a transverse displacement with a resetting effect into the parallel position between the components. However, the known systems do not provide the solution to the following problems: the creation of a tight, completely insulated space between the frame and the sash; the subsequent dismantling and replacement of the metal part; the installation of mitered glass strips; the complete protection of the wooden part facing the space between the frame and sash frame with the possibility of providing a seal in this area.

These unsolved problems cause the formation of condensation, especially in the space between the frame and sash, deformation problems due to an inadequate reset system and changes as well Mold formation on the wooden part which is exposed to the cold air and condensation.

Die Erfindung stellt sich die Aufgabe ein Verbundprofil der eingangs beschriebenen Art zu schaffen, welches derart aufgebaut ist, daß die oben aufgezählten Nachteile beseitigt werden, wobei sich die Möglichkeit bietet die Herstellungskosten der Profile und die Montagearbeit an den Rahmen einzuschränken und dazu die Ästhetik sowie Funktiontüchtigkeit der einzelnen Teile zu verbessern;The invention has for its object to provide a composite profile of the type described above, which is constructed in such a way that the disadvantages listed above are eliminated, with the possibility of limiting the production costs of the profiles and the assembly work on the frame and also the aesthetics and functionality to improve the individual parts;

To achieve this object, the invention proposes to provide elastic flanges on the plastic part of the composite profile in the area facing the metal part, which act on one or two corresponding flanges protruding from the metal part in such a way that an effective elastic return of the parts in due to a mutual transverse displacement of the profile parts a parallel position is reached. In addition to this restoring effect, these elastic flanges exert a pressure against the metal profile, which ensures that the suspension flanges, which protrude from the same plastic profile and act on corresponding flanges projecting laterally from the metal profile, always rest on them with a certain pressure. These hook-on flanges are accessible from the outside even when the composite profile is assembled and enable the metal profile to be easily removed, thereby offering the possibility of exchanging this profile with one of a different color, with other technical or aesthetic properties or with other dimensions; this enables simplified warehousing and less expensive repair work. According to the invention, the same hanging flanges made of plastic completely or partially cover the metal profile in the area of the space between the floor frame and the sash frame. The invention also provides that the installation channel for the fittings, a plastic channel or one with plastic, is provided on the metal profile in the area of the above-mentioned intermediate space is lined channel, the suspension flanges are dimensioned such that there is a continuous covering of the metal profile in this area, at least up to the area of the stop of the inner seal. In particular, on the composite profile, which is intended for the casement, it is provided that the plastic profile has a one-piece molded flange which covers that area of the wooden part which faces the space between the frame and casement to protect this area from cold air and condensation and prevent the formation of mold, discoloration and weathering on the wood. In addition, this flange is suitable for attaching an inexpensive extruded seal or a seal that can be inserted later into its own groove.

For the attachment of miter-cut glazing beads and thus to achieve a continuous miter cut line of 45 ° for all wooden parts at the corners of the frame composed of composite profiles according to the invention, the invention proposes to provide the wooden glazing bead with a plastic hanging element , which can be a continuous profile or can consist of, spaced from each other, inserted into a corresponding seat on the bar. This suspension element has such a cross section and shape that the glazing bead is attached by pressing it vertically against the glass surface, bearing against the corresponding surface of the wooden part of the composite profile. During this pressing, the elastic hanging flange of the plastic profile used on the glazing bead meets the rigid snap-in flange that protrudes from the plastic part of the composite profile. By pressing further, the elastic snap-in flange is deformed in a first chamfer by the bevel of the contact surface and finally snaps behind the projection on the rigid snap-in flange, the glazing bead being locked in this position by being lies along one side on the glass surface and lies along a second side on the surface of the wooden part of the composite profile. Due to the above-mentioned mounting direction of the glazing bead, perpendicular to the glass surface, it is possible to provide it with a miter cut, which results in an aesthetically pleasing appearance.

Advantageously, it is provided that joint cover strips, e.g. can be attached to the stick frame, of course, the joints can also be covered by means of the wooden part above the joint; In this latter case, too, a joint cover strip, which can be provided with an extruded seal in the manner already described for the composite profile of a casement, is advantageous.

Advantageously, the same stiff snap-in flanges that protrude from the plastic part, or the joint between this and the wooden part, can be used for attaching compensating strips or profiles and / or protective profiles (e.g. on thresholds of French windows). The connection between the wooden part and the plastic part of the composite profile can be made in a known manner, with or without the use of adhesives and / or foams.

Die Fig.10 zeigt den Querschnitt durch ein Verbundprofil mit Holzteil, mit U-förmigem Kunststoffprofil für die Installation der Beschläge welches durch die, zu diesem Profil konvergierenden, Flächen der anliegenden Metallflanschen festgehalten wird und wobei eine einseitige Verlängerung 23 das Metallprofil bis zum Zwischenstück L zwischen Holzteil C und Scharnierband H abdeckt.10 shows the cross section through a composite profile with a wooden part, with a U-shaped plastic profile for the installation of the fittings, which is held in place by the surfaces of the adjacent metal flanges converging to this profile and with a one-sided extension 23 the metal profile up to the intermediate piece L between wooden part C and hinge strap H.

The composite profile according to the invention consists of a metal part A, a plastic part B and a wooden part C. The plastic part B consists of a profile which, in the direction of the metal part A, has two elastic suspension flanges 5, each with a projection with an inclined introduction surface 5b and a flat, for the direction of insertion has at an angle of 90 °, bearing surface 5a in order to achieve the clamping between the metal part A and the plastic part B. In addition to the said suspension flanges 5, there are two pressure and return flanges 4, which have an L-shaped cross section, on the same side of the plastic part B, in an area between them, with a rigid base, with an intermediate area 4b under bending pretension and a support End area 4a. The position of the end portion 4a with respect to the base of the Flange 4 is selected such that the metal profile A is pressurized on the surface 1c in the opposite direction to the assembly direction of parts A and B.

The metal profile A is provided in the area facing the plastic profile B with snap-in flanges which have an inclined introduction surface 3 and a flat bearing surface 3a and to which the mounting flanges of the plastic profile B cling with the corresponding surfaces 5a. The locking projections on the metal profile A are dimensioned such that a transverse displacement X between the two clamped profiles is possible. This shift in the transverse direction X, which is caused by the different coefficients of thermal expansion of the different materials of the composite profile and by the application of different temperatures to the composite profile parts, is controlled by the effect 4c of the end regions 4a of the flanges 4 protruding from the plastic profile, which in the assembled position of the parts A. and B are under bending pretension and are additionally loaded alternately depending on the direction during the transverse displacement X, whereby an elastic restoring force is built up which tends to bring the parts A and B back into a parallel longitudinal position. For this purpose, the end regions 4a lie on an inclined or curved surface 1b, 2b of one or two flanges 1, 2, on which project in a substantially central region from the metal profile A against the plastic profile B; these flanges 1, 2 have on their free edge area an angled introduction surface and stop surfaces 1a, 2a for the end regions 4a of the elastic flanges 4 made of plastic. During the transverse displacement X, one of the end regions 4a of the flanges, depending on the displacement direction X, is additionally subjected to bending (elastically loaded) because it inevitably follows the slope of the surface 1b; this elastic force which counteracts the transverse displacement X. As a result, as soon as the forces which caused the transverse displacement X decrease, the tendency between parts A and B to re-establish a parallel position.

Unhooking the metal profile A from the plastic profile B is easily possible by unhooking the hanging flanges 5 of the plastic profile in the direction 5c; the protrusions 1, 2 are unhooked from the elastic return flanges 4a under the aid of the load 4c of these elastic flanges.

In order to create a space I between the frame and the sash which is completely thermally insulated with respect to the metal part B of the composite profile, the suspension flange 5 connects to one of the longitudinal edges of a U-shaped cover profile 9 for the installation channel for the fittings; this profile 9 is equipped with corresponding grooves and / or flanges 13, 14, 15, 16, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22 for the purpose of a positive connection, while the second edge region of this profile 9 forms the contact area for the seal 8. The profile 9 itself can at least partially form the installation duct by its cross-section being dimensioned accordingly in order to withstand occurring loads even without being able to be supported on metallic side walls. On the side facing the living space, the protrusion of the wooden part C on the casement which covers the area of the intermediate space I can be covered on the side facing this intermediate space by a flange 7 which projects from the plastic part B. This cover flange 7 is also suitable for attaching an extruded seal 7a in order to achieve the tight closure of the space I in cooperation with the inner seal 8. According to the invention, the cover flange 7 can also be provided on the stick profile; in this case too, it can be provided with an extruded seal 7a.

On the plastic profile B, in the area against the wooden part C, C1, for attaching the glazing beads D, the joint cover strips E or the compensating strips and / or protective strips C2, snap-in flanges 6 can be provided. Be it the glazing beads D, as well as the joint cover strips E, can be attached by pressing on the glass surface F, perpendicularly 10b, or by, parallel to the support surface 11, adjacent to the wooden part C, C1. Because of this mounting direction 10b, it is possible to mount strips D, E with mitred ends. The hanging member 10 made of plastic, which is inserted into the strips D, E, can be a continuous profile or can be formed by profile pieces inserted at intervals from one another on the strips. The cross section of the hooking element 10 consists of an anchoring part 10c which is inserted into a groove on the bar and of an elastically deformable part 10a with inclined inlet surfaces and a hooking surface which snaps behind a corresponding projection on the latching flange 6 projecting from the plastic profile. The anchoring part 10c is advantageously angled (approx. 45 °) with respect to the bearing surface 11 of the strip on the wooden part C, C1, as a result of which the use of adhesives can possibly be avoided. In order to improve the thermal insulation of the metal part A with respect to the glass pane F, the invention proposes to provide a plastic element G between the profile and the edge of the glass pane.

Der Kunststoffteil B kann gegen den Holzteil C, C1 des Verbundprofils bekannte Verankerungselemente, Verklebungselemente oder Befestigungselemente aufweisen. The plastic part B can have known anchoring elements, adhesive elements or fastening elements against the wooden part C, C1 of the composite profile.

The U-shaped plastic profile 9, which forms or lines the installation channel for the fittings H, K, prevents the metallic contact between the projecting flange 13 of the metal profile A (FIG. 9) and the hinge band H; a one-piece, possibly with the profile 9, Intermediate piece L may be provided. To achieve the attachment of the profile 9 to the metal profile A, angled side walls 24 can be provided so that a dovetail groove is formed; In order to cover the metal profile also in the area adjacent to the profile 9, one of the edges of this profile 9 can have a flange 23 (FIG. 10) which bears, for example, on the intermediate piece L which is inserted between the hinge strap H and the wooden part C of a composite profile .

The U-shaped profile 9 can be held on the metal profile A via lateral dovetail connections 14, 21, 22, it being possible for the groove to be provided on the profile 9 or on the corresponding wall of the metal profile A; the same applies to connections 16 which are provided on the outside of the profile 9 which corresponds to the channel floor (FIG. 4). As far as the side walls of the profile 9 are concerned, these can rest completely or only partially on corresponding flanges of the metal profile A or can protrude freely beyond the metal flanges 17; the edge areas of the side walls of the profile 9 may, in relation to the metal flanges, run convergingly inclined (FIG. 5; -20) or diverging inclined (FIG. 3; -5); this arrangement can also be advantageous in order to achieve a continuous contact with a corresponding surface of the metal profile A (Fig. 7; -23) or to a part of a plastic profile in order to achieve complete coverage of the metal profile, even when the composite profile parts are mutually displaced. In particular, a continuous cover through the U-shaped profile 9 and the adjacent parts of the plastic profile B, e.g. to achieve composite profiles, it is possible to provide positive connections (tongue and groove) along the edges of the side walls; this solution can be advantageous in the case of composite profiles between metal part A and wooden part C.

The U-shaped profile 9 can, lengthways one of its longitudinal edges also has a suitable cross section in order to create an area for the support of a seal or to provide an extruded seal or to be able to pull a seal into a groove provided for this purpose. The invention does not exclude anchoring of the U-shaped profile 9 on the metal part A by using foams and / or adhesives; Furthermore, the profile 9 can be composed of two or more symmetrical or asymmetrical parts, or the profile 9 can be wholly or partly in one piece with one of the non-metallic parts of a composite profile.
