Fadentransportvorrichtung für Textilmaschinen, insbesondere für die Zuführung des Schußfadens von Webmaschinen, vorzugsweise Bandwebautomaten, mit einer Fadenabzugsrolle, über deren Mantelfläche der abzuziehende Faden reibschlüssig geführt ist, und deren Antriebsdrehzahl über mindestens eine Regelscheibe mit sich in axialer Richtung verjüngender Arbeitsfläche sowie ein auf dieser Arbeitsfläche ablaufendes Reibrad stufenlos verstellbar ist,
dadurch gekennzeichnet,
daß die sich verjüngende Arbeitsfläche (10) der Regelscheibe (2) angenähert die Kontur einer Parabel aufweist.
