Definitions
- the invention relates to a method for cleaning continuously advancing, web-shaped textile material, which comprises a washing-active fluid which contains one or more surfactants and a compound which has a high adsorption capacity on the contaminants to be washed out and has no affinity for the fibers of the textile material. is provided and is immediately subjected to steam treatment.
- the invention has for its object to find a method and an apparatus with which the aforementioned problems are avoided.
- the in particular pile-shaped textile material should be deeply cleaned in a simple and short-term continuous treatment process without much water and detergent expenditure, without lint being produced by mechanical treatment of the pile.
- the invention provides for the solution of the problem that the textile material is soaked with a liquid that contains chemicals such as blowing agents for foaming in a steam atmosphere, the textile material for generating the detergent foam in a damper, there under Saturated steam conditions are dampened and, after passing through the damper, is sucked off from the visible side of the goods.
- the advantage of this method is that the applied liquid can be brought into the textile material immediately and without problems to the bottom of the pole. If the foam is created by the temperature in the damper, it swells from the roots of the fibers at their tips and transports the contaminants to the surface of the textile goods. There they can also be sucked off in an environmentally friendly manner without additional washing water.
- the process can also be repeated, or the textile material can be retracted into the damper without further application of liquid, in order to naturally align the pile laid during suction without touching the pole side in the steam.
- the device according to FIGS. 1 and 2 is a textile web cleaning or cleaning device, although a damper, here shaft damper 1, is used.

- This foam which transports the contaminants to the surface of the textile material, is then sucked outside the damper 1 at the suction device 5, with which the cleaning is ended.
- the device consists of a bar 10, to which the liquid is supplied via one or more connection points, not shown. By skillfully distributing the liquid in the bar 10 similar to the device according to DE 40 26 198.0 A1, it reaches the pole of the web 2 evenly distributed over the length of the slot 9 to influence the penetration of the liquid into the pole 3.
- the web 2 It is then possible to move the web 2 straight into the damper 1 or to redirect it in the direction of the trough 12, which is formed by an immersion roller 13 and a groove 13 '.
- the channel 13 ' extends with a drain plate 14 to below the beam 10 for collecting excess liquid.
- the pole 3 of the web 2 can be dipped on the roller 13 or the web can only be sprayed with liquid from above.
- a spray tube 15 is directed into the gap between the downward web 2 and the dipping roller 13, so that the liquid on the roller 13 is pressed into the textile material 2 from the rear.
- the liquid which is fed into the material web at the application device, in particular into the pole thereof, is a special mixture of washing-active chemicals and blowing agents which foam up under thermal energy.
- the adsorption capacity of the detergent agents on the contaminants contained in the textile material and at the same time a lack of affinity for the fibers causes the contaminants to detach from the fibers.
- the resulting foam then guides every dirt particle upwards to the top of the pile fibers so that it can be easily extracted.
- the web 2 For steaming in a saturated steam atmosphere, the web 2 then runs upward into the shaft damper 1, which is open at the bottom, for which purpose the preferably driven damper deflection roller 16 is arranged in the damper housing. Via spreading straightening rollers 17, the web 2 again reaches the stand 6, in which the suction device 5 is assigned to the pole or the visible side of the web before the next deflection roller 18. The material web then reaches the next treatment unit via a speed-controllable roller 19 according to FIG. 1 or via a dancer roller control 19 'according to FIG. 2.
- the shaft damper 1 consists of a simple housing which is open at the bottom and which is likewise held on the stand 6.
- the end-side inlet wall 20 ends lower than the outlet-side wall 21 so that excess steam can only flow out of the damper 1 there. This is then collected and sucked off by means of the hood 22 arranged outside the wall 21.
- the necessary steam is supplied at the top via the tubes 23 and then passes through the perforated walls 24 into the treatment room.
- the condensate that may flow flows down the sloping or vertical inner walls of the damper into the channels 25, which may be heated.
- the damper of FIG. 2 is the same as that of FIG. 1, the web guide is only intended for a double goods feed.
- the suction device 5 is now aligned upwards in order to vacuum the horizontally aligned web of material from below.
- a spray tube 28 can also be directed into the gusset between the downward web 2 and the deflecting roller 18 in order to press other washing liquid on the roller 18 through the textile material and immediately suck it off.
- the driven roller 27 rotates, the material web then runs with the pole outward again into the damper 1 upwards to the damper deflection roller 26 and downwards again to the dancer roller control 19 'indicated there.

Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a method for cleaning continuously advancing, web-shaped textile material, which comprises a washing-active fluid which contains one or more surfactants and a compound which has a high adsorption capacity on the contaminants to be washed out and has no affinity for the fibers of the textile material. is provided and is immediately subjected to steam treatment.
From DE 32 13 840 A1 it is known to put a foam on the pole side for washing or rinsing a textile fabric web and then immediately subjecting the textile goods to a steam treatment in order to subsequently rinse them with water to wash out the dissolved contaminants. It is also contemplated to carry out the foam application in two stages, for which purpose the first foam applied is first suctioned off with the loosened contaminants or squeezed out of the textile material and only the textile material thus cleaned is moved into the damper with a second foam applied. It is essential in both methods that the foam produced from one or more surfactants, which has no affinity for the fibers of the textile material, but has a high adsorption capacity for the contaminants to be washed out, is produced before the application and is only intended to be applied. This method does not ensure intensive contact of the foam with the fibers of a dense pole, especially not over their entire length to their roots. Complete cleaning is therefore not possible with this procedure.
Another treatment method is disclosed in DE 30 26 349 A1, according to which a cleaning method is known, in which a foam is also poured onto the textile material, but which is incorporated into the textile material before steaming. This treatment procedure, which strongly affects the pole, at least partially destroys it the pole, it produces a lot of fluff, so that such an incorporation of foam is not suitable for pole-shaped textile goods.
The same naturally applies if - as is known in foam dyeing from DE 30 45 644 A1 - a liquid is applied to the textile material, but the foam must then also be produced on the textile material by milling or the like.
The invention has for its object to find a method and an apparatus with which the aforementioned problems are avoided. The in particular pile-shaped textile material should be deeply cleaned in a simple and short-term continuous treatment process without much water and detergent expenditure, without lint being produced by mechanical treatment of the pile.
Based on the method mentioned at the beginning, the invention provides for the solution of the problem that the textile material is soaked with a liquid that contains chemicals such as blowing agents for foaming in a steam atmosphere, the textile material for generating the detergent foam in a damper, there under Saturated steam conditions are dampened and, after passing through the damper, is sucked off from the visible side of the goods.
The advantage of this method is that the applied liquid can be brought into the textile material immediately and without problems to the bottom of the pole. If the foam is created by the temperature in the damper, it swells from the roots of the fibers at their tips and transports the contaminants to the surface of the textile goods. There they can also be sucked off in an environmentally friendly manner without additional washing water.
Of course, the process can also be repeated, or the textile material can be retracted into the damper without further application of liquid, in order to naturally align the pile laid during suction without touching the pole side in the steam.
- Fig. 1
- Fig. 2

- Fig. 2
- a shaft damper like that of FIG. 1, but with a different web guide.
The device according to FIGS. 1 and 2 is a textile web cleaning or cleaning device, although a damper, here
The liquid which is fed into the material web at the application device, in particular into the pole thereof, is a special mixture of washing-active chemicals and blowing agents which foam up under thermal energy. The adsorption capacity of the detergent agents on the contaminants contained in the textile material and at the same time a lack of affinity for the fibers causes the contaminants to detach from the fibers. The resulting foam then guides every dirt particle upwards to the top of the pile fibers so that it can be easily extracted.
For steaming in a saturated steam atmosphere, the
The
The damper of FIG. 2 is the same as that of FIG. 1, the web guide is only intended for a double goods feed. For this purpose, the suction device 5 is now aligned upwards in order to vacuum the horizontally aligned web of material from below. A
