Definitions

  • the invention relates to a vegetative noise barrier, with insertable wall elements held between segment posts, which are provided with a nutrient medium for plants and with an irrigation device.
  • noise barriers as are known, for example, from EP 0 337 085 A2, are used, for example, on busy streets and highways to provide sound insulation for residential areas located behind them. They essentially consist of a supporting frame, which is provided with a backfill, and a low-growing planting.
  • the problems here are their relatively low landscape architectural design options, their relatively difficult assembly and the high maintenance requirements for plant care.
  • the object of the present invention is to provide a noise barrier of the type described at the outset which ensures relatively great freedom in terms of landscape architecture, is quick and easy to assemble and requires a relatively low level of plant maintenance.
  • the wall elements consist of lattice mats that have a claw mat on their inner sides and a one on their outer sides Plaster layer are provided, the lattice mats in the segment posts are double-walled, held opposite one another, the space between the opposite lattice mats can be backfilled with a substrate filling and in the space longitudinal empty pipes for receiving the irrigation device are laid.
  • the grid mats are flexible in the longitudinal direction and rigid in the vertical direction.
  • Irrigation pipes can be laid through the empty pipes laid in the substrate filling, which can be easily replaced for maintenance purposes. This enables quick and easy cleaning of the interior and any silting can be removed quickly and without great effort. Plant maintenance measures can thus be reduced to a minimum.
  • the vegetative noise barrier 10 shown in FIG. 1 essentially consists of a large number of straight or curved wall elements 11, on which a greenery 12 can be planted.
  • the wall elements 11 are held between segment posts 13.
  • a wall element 11 essentially consists of a mesh mat 15, for example a commercially available structural steel mat, which is delimited in the longitudinal direction, ie on its upper edge 32 and on its lower edge 33 with round elements 18, for example thin tubes or round bars.
  • the individual wall elements 11 are held by the segment posts 13, which in turn are embedded in foundations 14.
  • the foundations 14 consist, for example, of concrete and can be buried in the ground.
  • the segment posts 13 consist of double-T beams, on the T-piece undercuts 22 of which the prefabricated, exchangeable wall elements 11 are supported.
  • the longitudinal upper edges 32 and lower edges 33 of the lattice mats 15 of the wall elements 11 are, as shown in FIG. 6 (C), made of slightly flexible round material or tubes 18, while the vertical lateral boundaries, as shown in FIG. 6 (B), from more rigid angle iron 17 exist.
  • the wall elements 11 are slightly flexible in the longitudinal direction, and vegetative noise barriers 10, even the narrowest radii, can be formed with them.
  • the segment posts 13 are provided with bores 24 or a groove 23 between their T-piece undercuts 22 at a predetermined distance, in which empty pipes 25 can be laid.
  • the empty pipes 25 thereby run at a predeterminable distance from the wall elements 11, through which the substrate filling 29, which is subsequently refilled, can be watered.
  • tie rods 20 are provided, as shown in FIGS. 2 and 6 (C), which have a predetermined length and are held by nuts 20a.
  • the tie rods 20 are arranged approximately centrally in the field of a wall element 11.
  • a plaster layer 30, which consists of a relatively highly viscous mixture of clay, cellulose and seeds, is applied to the outer sides 19 of the lattice mats 15.
  • This plaster layer 30 can also be applied to vertical walls like normal plaster.
  • a wall element 11 of this type will green up relatively quickly through the mixed-in seed, with the clay component providing the growing seed with sufficient moisture, space for growth and good hold becomes.
  • the cellulose component primarily serves as a reinforcement for the clay, since its fibers prevent it from flowing off and the clay still maintains a certain plasticity. Furthermore, the cellulose is used for even wetting because its fibers have the property of conducting water capillary.
  • a natural interaction takes place with the rotting of the cellulose and the growth of the seeds. If the clay initially has the task of giving the seed support and growth opportunity, then after it has risen, the grasses and young plants have taken over the task of cellulose and, thanks to their roots, form sodes very quickly, which in turn provide the clay with sufficient support on the relatively steep slope vertical noise barrier 10 offer.
  • the roots of the grasses and young plants grow through the claw mat 27 and into the substrate filling 29, from which they can take nutrient and water.
  • the empty pipes 25, in which an irrigation device, for example in the form of perforated water hoses, can be installed as drip irrigation, are used to adequately irrigate the substrate filling 29.
  • the empty tubes 25 are perforated and provided with a fiber sheathing 31, which is intended to prevent silting.
  • the droplet irrigation 26 prevents the substrate filling 29 from drying out, and at the same time it can be used for liquid fertilization.
  • the irrigation horizons can vary in number and distance depending on the wall thickness, so that even narrow and narrow versions of the noise barrier 10 experience optimal moisture penetration.
  • the noise barrier 10 can exist with the wall elements 11 described above on different inclined segment posts 13.
  • a relatively steep trapezoid is provided, which is held at a distance by cross members 28 and is anchored in a foundation 14.
  • the noise barrier 10 consists of a relatively wide trapezoid, which can be set up freely due to its own weight and its relatively wide structure.
