Dieses ist bei den PS-Folien durch ihre Sprödigkeit durch einfaches Ankerben der Folie mit einem meißelförmigen Kerbstempel sehr leicht zu bewerkstelligen. Durch die vorgegebene Bruchlinie in der Folie bricht die PS-Folie an dieser Stelle leicht ab. Bei der PP-Folie dagegen ist durch die hohe Reißdehnung ein Abbrechen wie bei den PS-Folien nicht möglich. Mit dem erfindungsgemäßen Werkzeug ist es möglich, einzelne Behälter von einer Mehrfachpackung ohne Hilfsmittel manuell abzutrennen, da die zähe Kunststoffolie, beispielsweise PP-Folie, an der Trennstelle bis auf einen Restbetrag von 0,03 mm bis 0,05 mm eingeschnitten werden kann, wodurch die Behälter nur durch einen dünnen Film miteinander verbunden sind und dieser Film an den beiden Enden zusätzlich noch angeschnitten wird. Da die Messer 14 von unten hohlgeschliffen sind, also eine etwa konkave Schnittkante aufweisen, vgl. Fig. 3.2, wird der dünne Film 54 seitlich mit Einschnitten 52 versehen, vgl. Fig. 12 und 3.2, durch die die Behälterfolie 31 entlang des dünnen Films 54 leicht aufgetrennt werden kann, indem die Folie in Fortsetzung der Einschnitte beispielsweise per Hand aufgerissen wird. Die erste Stempelhalteplatte 8 mit den Messern 10 setzt auf die Anschläge 26 auf und wird in dieser Position festgehalten, vgl. Fig. 12. Die Kopfplatte 16 mit den Sternstempeln 18 fährt bis zur unteren Stellung des Werkzeuges weiter, wodurch der Rest der Verrundungen wie bei den Einzelbehältern ausgeschnitten wird, siehe Fig. 13. Claims (11)

  1. Apparatus for cutting individual pots and packs of pots out of a plastics sheet with a high elongation at break, particulary out of a polypropylene sheet, comprising a plurality of knives (10, 14, 18) for scoring and cutting through the sheet which may be advanced by a press in a defined manner, and a die plate (6) having depressed and raised cutting holes (34 and 36) which cooperate with the knives (10, 14, 18), characterized by
    - at least two carrying plates (8, 12, 16) for the knives (10, 14, 18), the plates being arranged one behind the other in the direction of advance, wherein the knives (14 and 18) or their carriers which pass in the direction of approach through the carrier plates (8, 12) arranged before the carrier plates (12, 16) associated therewith, and
