Support part (12, 13) for glass panes of windows, doors or the like which is formed substantially as a plate (14) whose underside (15) lies on a frame surface and whose upper side (16) supports the glazing or the like and comprises at least one curvature (19) which protrudes out of the plate plane in a resilient manner on the glass-side and is connected on all sides in a continuous manner to the plate (14) by way of a curvature edge portion (21) which is flexible at least on one curvature edge (20), characterised in that the plate (14) comprises on the underside at least one transverse slot (27*) which extends over the entire plate width (pb) and is closed on the frame-side, and/or comprises a transverse groove (28*) which extends over the entire plate width (pb) and is open on the frame-side, which forms and/or form together with the curvature (19) aligned in parallel with the longitudinal edges (17) the flexible curvature edge portion.
  7. Support part according to daim 6, characterised in that the curvature (19) has a planar transverse slot or groove base (29).
  8. Support part according to claim 6 or 7, characterised in that in each case a curvature (19) is adjacent to a front edge (22).
