For the specific adaptation of the supporting element to insulating glazing, it is configured such that the panel (14) exhibits, in the vicinity of each longitudinal edge (17), at least one resiliently projecting bulge (18, 18'), whose bulge length (wl), measured transversely with respect to the longitudinal edge (17) of the panel, is smaller than half the panel width (pb). <IMAGE>
