Abstract

The frame trim (15) has a detachable connection to a swinging frame (2,3) which supports glazing (1), and is fitted around the frame on one side of the glass. The trim is self-standing, and a retainer (13) is arranged between it and the frame, in order to hold it floating on the frame. The retainers may be elastic spring clips, which may be pressed parallel to the glazing, and which may be arranged around the window between the frame and the trim. The frame may be made from aluminium, and the trim may be made from wood.
