Abstract

The invention relates to a boiler, in particular a large or medium-size boiler, to the flow and return connections (1, 2) of which there are connected at least two heating-circuit distributors with interposition of a two-channel distributor section (5) provided with an insulating cover (11). According to the invention, the boiler is constructed in such a way that the distributor section (5), formed from two box-shaped profiles (5', 5'') arranged at a distance from one another, is arranged at least on one side of the boiler housing (3) in the longitudinal extent thereof and said section is equipped, on its face (6) remote from the boiler with heating-circuit distributor flange connections (7) on its two box-shaped profiles (5', 5'') and, on the boiler-side face (8), with flow and return connections (9, 10) connected detachably to the flow and return connections (1, 2) of the boiler housing (3) which are arranged at corresponding height, and that at least on one side in the water-conducting boiler housing (3), there are arranged channels (Kv, Kr) which lead to the flow and return connections (1, 2; 1', 2') arranged laterally on said boiler housing. As a result, the entire distributor installation and associated heating-circuit distributors can be installed, in a space-saving and easily accessible manner, in the longitudinal direction directly beside the boiler, which can be connected to the chimney at the smallest possible distance therefrom. <IMAGE>

Description

The invention relates to a boiler, in particular large and medium-sized boilers according to the preamble of claim 1.

If several heating circuits belong to a heating system, this requires the arrangement of so-called heating circuit distributors between the boiler and the respective heating circuit. In the case of small boilers, it is customary, if space permits, to connect the heating circuit distributors directly to the boiler, which are usually equipped with two flow and return connections. As with medium-sized and large boilers, to which usually more than two heating circuits have to be connected, sometimes with small boilers, the entire distribution installation is installed on a freely available wall of the boiler room on site by the heating installer, who must also establish the connection to the boiler in question .

According to DE-A-38 09 412, a special type of distributor for heating systems in the form of a distributor line is known, to which the individual heating circuit distributors are connected and which, like otherwise, the heating circuit distributors is connected to the usual supply and return connections of the boiler.

The heating circuit distributors mentioned, which are usually delivered fully assembled by the manufacturer, usually contain a mixing valve, circulation pump, non-return flaps and possibly also shut-off valves and connection fittings for temperature and pressure display elements.

The object of the present invention is to design both the boiler belonging to the system and the distributor branch so that the entire distributor installation and associated heating circuit distributor can be installed in a space-saving and easily accessible manner in the longitudinal direction directly next to the boiler, which should be connectable to the chimney with the smallest possible distance .

This object is achieved with a boiler according to the invention by the features stated in the characterizing part of patent claim 1. Advantageous refinements result from the subclaims.

The essential requirements in this solution according to the invention are, on the one hand, the two-channel distributor line arranged longitudinally next to the boiler housing and laterally detachably connected to it, and on the other hand, the adaptation of the boiler in the water-carrying interior to this distributor line arrangement. The distributor line and the boiler thus form a separate unit, specifically so that the boiler and the distributor line can be easily introduced into the boiler room. Since the boiler and the manifold is a unit with precisely specified connection points between the two elements, and in addition the manifold has clearly and unmistakably the connection points for the actual heating circuit manifolds due to the division in two, so the boiler manufacturer can manufacture the manifold with the necessary Include connecting elements to the boiler in its production and, as before, the manufacture and assembly of the actual heating circuit manifold from the above elements. Such prefabrication of the manifold with the associated heating circuit manifolds by the manufacturer is also possible in accordance with DE-A 38 09 412, but it is still up to the installer to determine where he installs the entire manifold and how he connects it to the boiler.

In contrast, the heating installer in the design of the boiler according to the invention only has to introduce the boiler and the manifold with the respective number of heating circuit distributors into the installation space and to connect them directly side by side, after which he only has to connect the respective supply and return lines of the respective heating circuits to connect the intermediate pipe sections to be adapted to the local conditions to the respective heating circuit distributor Has. Apart from the considerable time saved in the installation work on site, the whole thing has the additional advantage that no incorrect connections can be made and that there are no clamps for cable routing and the distributor device on the boiler room walls. In addition, the arrangement of the distributor line directly alongside the boiler and completely free-standing on one side results in an extremely clear and therefore maintenance-friendly heating system in the boiler room. A prerequisite for this is not only the special design of the manifold in the form of two separate box sections which prevent heat exchange, but also the "inner" design of the boiler with regard to its flow and return lines in such a way that their connections are at the appropriate height of the two box sections.

The entire arrangement of the distribution line alongside the boiler is stable enough in itself due to the close association with the boiler to be able to carry itself, but it is more advantageous to provide the distribution line with at least one floor support.

The requirement according to claim 4 aims not to widen the boiler by means of laterally protruding connections, since this could lead to insertion difficulties due to narrow door openings. In this context, it is essential, since the relevant flange connections are not visible, to ensure that the flange connections there are absolutely sealed, which is done with flange rings welded directly into the boiler housing wall, which, precisely aligned, weld a solid abutment and thus a permanent sealing surface form for the flange to be connected.

It is also provided that one of the pipe sections on the distributor line, which connects it to the boiler, is also flanged and the distributor line is provided with at least one further connection opening which is closed with a blind flange. This allows the distribution line if this is the premises should be connected to the boiler housing in the longitudinal direction offset by the appropriate amount.

As for the channels leading to the supply and return connections on the boiler housing, these are advantageous and not bulky in the form of a shielding plate arranged in the upper half of the water-carrying interior, which, together with the boiler housing wall and dividers, delimits the channels. In order to be able to design and manufacture this supply and return flow in the water-carrying interior of the boiler housing so simply and efficiently, the channel is formed in accordance with claim 7.

The boiler according to the invention or the structural unit comprising the boiler and the distributor branch is explained in more detail below with the aid of exemplary embodiments.

For all of the illustrated embodiments, it is decisive that the distributor line 6, formed from two box sections 5 ', 5''arranged at a distance from one another and provided with an insulation jacket 11, is arranged at least on one side of the boiler housing 3 in its longitudinal extent and this on its surface 6 remote from the boiler with heating circuit distributor flange connections 7 is provided on its two box sections 5 ', 5''and on the boiler-side surface 8 with the supply and return connections 1, 2 of the boiler housing 3, which are detachably connected at the appropriate height, supply and return connections 9, 10, and that at least one side in the water-carrying boiler housing 3 to the supply and return connections 1, 2 arranged laterally on this; 1 ', 2' leading channels K v , K r are arranged. 1 shows only a distributor branch 5 provided with a floor support 12, which, because of the connections also arranged on the other side of the boiler housing 3, could also be arranged there or, if necessary, if the number of heating circuit distributors 4 should require, additionally , as indicated in Fig. 2.

In the exemplary embodiment according to FIGS. 1 and 3, four heating circuit distributors 4 can thus be easily flanged onto the distributor branch 5, and if necessary and since the boiler, as shown, also has corresponding connections on the other side, there is also another heating circuit distributor 4 (see FIG 6) can be flanged directly. Remaining in the embodiment of FIGS. 1 to 4, the flow and return connections 9, 10 arranged on the boiler-side surface 8 of the distributor line 5 connecting the two box sections 5 ', 5''are made of pipe sections 13 attached to the distributor line 5 with the boiler side Connection flanges 14 are formed, which are flanged within a boiler housing jacket 15 to the supply and return connections 1, 2 arranged laterally on the boiler housing 3. 4, for the reasons mentioned, the flow and return connections 1, 2 of the boiler housing 3 are designed in the form of flange rings 16 with threaded blind holes 17, and the flange rings 16 are welded into correspondingly dimensioned openings in the boiler housing wall 17. The length of the Pipe pieces 13 determine the distance of the manifold 5 from the boiler housing 3, which is dimensioned as short as possible and as long as necessary to conveniently enable the connection installation of the manifold 5 to the boiler, on the other hand to keep the space requirements as small as possible.

The connections on the boiler side for the connection of the pipe sections 13 or the distributor line 5 could, as indicated in FIG. 1, also be welded-on structures made of sheet metal. However, this makes it difficult to achieve precisely oriented sealing surfaces for the flanges of the pipe sections 13, which also applies if the channels K v and K r were placed on the outside of the boiler housing 3, which is also possible in principle. In view of this, the flow and return connections 1, 2, as mentioned above and with reference to FIG. 4, are designed in the form of welded-in flange rings 16, which thus sit very close to the boiler housing wall and do not enlarge the boiler width.

As can be seen from FIGS. 1 and 2, one of the pipe sections 13 is also flanged to the distributor line 5, and the distributor line 5 is provided with at least one further connection opening 19 which is closed with a blind flange 18. As a result, if the space requires this, the distributor line 5 can be moved to the left by the dimension A from the assignment to the boiler housing 3, as shown, without having to flanges both tubes 13 at both ends.

Apart from the fact that, as mentioned above, the channels K v , K r could also be arranged on the outside of the boiler housing 3 with a certain disadvantage, they are, according to the embodiment according to FIG. 5, in the form of a shielding plate arranged in the upper half of the water-carrying interior I. 20, which, together with the boiler housing wall 17 and separating webs 21, delimits the channels K v , K r , the separating web 21 ′ delimiting the channel K v to the interior I being provided with an overflow opening 22 at the top and the channel K r in two chambers 23 , 23 'through an overflow opening 22' also provided at the top Divider 21 '' is structured. The laterally arranged return connection 2 opens into the chamber 23 and a return connection 2 'arranged at the top of the boiler housing 3 opens into the downwardly open chamber 23'. In addition, the lateral flow connection 1 and a flow connection 1 'arranged at the top of the boiler housing 3 open into the channel K v . In this case, the supply and return connections 1 ', 2' usually arranged at the top in medium and large boilers are also included in the entire installation system, so that the one or more distributor strands 5 can also be connected to the heating boilers in the sense of FIG. 7. Here, too, a previously precisely defined assignment of the distributor strings 5 to the boiler or to the heating boilers is possible, and thus also a manufacturer-specific prefabrication and provision of the overall system which otherwise and previously could only be connected on site, in the case of a simple and “foolproof” connection of the boiler and distributor branch 5 and heating circuit distributors 4 only the connections of the individual heating circuit distributors 4 are to be made and connected. In the embodiment according to FIG. 7, the lower box section 5 'intended for the return is at least twice as wide in the area of the return connections 10 as the box section 5''above it, the surfaces 6 of both box sections remote from the boiler being arranged in a vertical plane. In this case, the ones coming from the supply and return connections 1 '', 2 '' from above can be conveniently connected.

As far as the two box profiles 5 ', 5' 'are concerned, these are advantageously parts of the boiler-side surface 8 provided with the supply and return connections 9, 10, ie, these box profiles 5', 5 '' are welded onto this, which in 7 is cranked accordingly.
