Definitions

  • a spreadable protective pad for toilet seats is e.g. known from CH-674 795 A5. It is a paper web folded like a harmonica, which the user can pull apart on the seat ring.
  • the object of the invention is therefore to offer a spreadable protective pad for toilet seats that is practical and inexpensive to produce in large quantities.
  • a protective pad according to the invention is characterized by at least one spreadable lamella web which is glued from many essentially identical individual leaflets.
  • the glue dissolves in the water and allows for easy disposal of the lamella sheet, which is broken up into individual sheets.
  • the slat track represents the hygienic seat surface.
  • the second and third lamellar web come from outside. to lie inside the seat ring and ensure that the protective pad as a whole is not easily slips off the seat ring. As will be shown below, there are also other options for fixing the protective pad on the toilet seat.
  • the individual leaflets preferably have a hook-like cut shape, so that the extended protective pad at least partially encompasses the toilet seat from the outside.
  • the lamellar web has a certain, albeit limited elasticity in the direction of propagation (i.e. perpendicular to the individual leaflets).
  • the protective pad according to the invention therefore has a tendency to contract. If it is placed around a round seat ring, partially encompassing it from the outside, then it automatically clings to the round shape.
  • the individual leaflets are preferably glued to one another along at least three glue lines, so that the lamella web has a honeycomb-like structure when spread out in the side view.
  • the honeycomb structure contributes significantly to the elasticity described above. Furthermore, the stability of the extended protective pad is increased by the higher number of glue sheets.
  • a protective pad with two interconnected lamella webs is particularly preferred, the one serving to cover the seat of the toilet seat and the other to cover the outer edge.
  • Such a protective pad is easy to put on the toilet seat and also sits reliably. Due to the inherent elasticity of the lamellar track, which leads to the protective cover nestling against the seat ring from the outside, a protective cover part engaging in the ring and manipulations of such a part are unnecessary. Subjectively, any manipulation to be carried out on the inside of the toilet ring is unpleasant.
  • the protective pad according to the invention typically consists of paper. So that the lamella web serving as the seat surface is more comfortable and offers the user more safety, at least three glue lines can be provided per single leaflet, so that the lamella web forms an at least double material layer when it is spread out.
  • the individual leaflets preferably have a U-shaped sectional shape, each leg having at least two glue lines. Each leg forms a lamellar path when spreading out. Because the connecting web between the two legs is relatively narrow, the two lamella webs can open in a V-shape after they have been spread out.
  • An oblique cut is advantageously provided on the outside of the web connecting the legs. If such protective pads are stored in a pack in a folded form, the bevel cut enables an individual protective pad to be easily removed.
  • the cut shape can have a nose which is designed and arranged such that it hooks onto the seat ring from below when the protective cover is spread out.
  • self-adhesive locations are provided at both ends of the lamella web for adhering the extended protective pad to the toilet seat.
  • the protective pad is shown from the broad side. It has two lamella tracks 1, 2, which are connected via an intermediate web 3.
  • the two lamella tracks 1, 2 form two legs of a U-shaped sectional view in the folded state of the protective pad.
  • the two legs have a width of about 2 to 2.5 cm.
  • the intermediate web 3 is quite narrow (for example 1 cm at the narrowest point).
  • a nose 4 is formed, which can engage in the manner of a barb on a toilet ring.
  • an adhesive 5.1, 5.2 (see FIG. 2) is provided on the outermost individual leaflets, which is protected with a cover sheet 6 until use. At the same time, the cover foil prevents the protective cover from falling apart independently before use.
  • An oblique cut 8 is formed on the back (outside) of the intermediate web 3. The length of the two legs is slightly different according to the size of the bevel cut 8. There are two glue lines 7.1, 7.2, respectively for each lamella web 1, 2. 7.3, 7.4 provided. They each line the long sides of the two legs.
  • the protective pad according to the invention is produced using the lamella technology known per se.
  • FIG. 10 This is shown by way of example in FIG. 10.
  • the individual leaflets 22.1, .. 22.5 are connected to one another along mutually offset, parallel glue seams 23.1, .. 23.10.
  • the glue seams 23.1, .. 23.10 are arranged in five glue lines, two glue seams 23.1, 23.6, respectively. 23.4, 23.9 resp. 23.2, 23.7 respectively 23.5, 23.10 respectively 23.3, 23.8 lie on the same glue line.
  • the cover film 6 is removed from the adhesives 5.1, 5.2 (see arrow in FIG. 2).
  • the protective pad can be spread out.
  • it is gripped on the outermost individual leaflets, which are also provided with the adhesive 5.1, 5.2 and pulled apart (arrow in Fig. 3).
  • the protective cover forms a honeycomb-like structure from the narrow side. If the protective pad is pulled apart, then the two lamella tracks 1, 2 can unfold V-shaped (see arrow in Fig. 4). This is because the intermediate web 3 becomes flexible in the elongated state.
  • the protective pad can be placed on the toilet seat 9 of the toilet bowl 10, the lamella web 2 serving as a seat and the lamella web 1 encompassing the toilet seat from the outside.
  • the lugs 4 of the single leaflets hook under the seat ring and thereby improve the hold of the protective pad.
  • the protective pad is glued to the toilet seat 9 with the two adhesives 5.1, 5.2.
  • the protective cover can thus be attached from above without having to touch the toilet seat itself.
  • Fig. 6 shows a second embodiment, which is characterized by a lower paper requirement. 6 differs from that according to FIG. 1 simply in that the one leg (lamella web 12) is only about half as long as the other (lamella web 11).
  • the intermediate web 13 can be designed in the same way as that according to FIG. 1.
  • FIG. 7 shows a more comfortable embodiment in which the lamella web 14 used as the seat surface forms a double layer of material in the extended state.
  • the corresponding leg of the sectional shape has three instead of only two glue lines 16.1, 16.2, 16.3.
  • the other leg has only two glue lines 16.4, 16.5, i.e. the lamella web 15 forms only one material layer.
  • the intermediate web 13 is designed as already described, that is to say without its own glue line.
  • FIGS. 6 and 7 are spread out and fastened in the same way as that of FIG. 1.
  • the width of the lamellar web 12, which comprises the toilet seat from the outside, respectively. 15 (which corresponds to the length of the leg of the sectional shape) is simply somewhat smaller than in the first embodiment.
  • Fig. 8 shows a protective pad with, in principle, only one lamella track 17.
  • the sectional shape is L-shaped in a certain sense.
  • a hook-shaped extension 18 is formed at one end of the Lamella web 17 forming leg.
  • an extension 19 is formed at the other end.
  • the cut shape has four glue lines 20.1, .. 20.4.
  • the first two glue lines 20.1, 20.2 line the leg forming the lamella web 17.
  • the hook-shaped extension 18 itself has two glue lines 20.3, 20.4.
  • the glue line 20.3 also closes the outer end of the shoulder 19.
  • FIG. 9 finally shows an embodiment with three lamella tracks 21.1, 21.2, 21.3.
  • This embodiment has a C-shaped sectional view.
  • the lamellar webs 21.2 and 21.3 can be folded out in a manner analogous to the first embodiment when they are spread out and include the toilet seat from the inside, respectively. from the outside.
  • Protection pads according to the invention can be produced on a large scale and inexpensively. You can rely on known and proven techniques. If the cut shape is chosen appropriately, the protective pads can be punched out to save paper. In this sense, sectional shapes are particularly suitable, which can be combined with each other to form a comprehensive pattern (see e.g. Fig. 6). As a rule, regularly spaced glue lines are advantageous.
  • two individual rondelles with ears for touching can also be provided. It is understood that the bevel cut is not an essential feature of the invention. In particular, good removability from a pack can also be achieved in other ways (e.g. as with paper handkerchiefs).
  • the entire protective pad is preferably made of biodegradable, environmentally friendly materials.
  • the protective pad should dissolve easily in water. Papers and adhesives that meet these requirements are known as such.
  • the invention has created a new type of spreadable protective cover which is comfortable and handy and can be designed in many different ways. This clearly distinguishes the invention from the pure paper products known so far.
