Definitions
- the invention relates to a lamp arrangement with lamp bodies arranged behind and / or next to one another according to the preamble of claim 1.
- the individual lamp bodies which usually consist of two longitudinal parts or long sides, an upper surface and two end parts, have a small cross section, so that handling required to connect the lamp bodies is cumbersome and time-consuming.
- conventional fastening means such as screws, which act in the horizontal direction, but have to be actuated from the lower light exit side
- the assembly of a luminaire arrangement is difficult and not very efficient.
- the assembly should take into account the alignment of the individual luminaire bodies so that a light strip that meets the aesthetic requirements or a differently designed luminaire arrangement is created.
- EP 0 264 857 A1 shows a luminaire arrangement whose individual light bodies are designed for an optional arrangement at the end or within a light band. In the case of an end-side arrangement, they are provided with an attachable end cap, for which purpose plug-in frames are provided on the end faces of the individual light bodies.
- a connecting device for producing light strips in accordance with DE-AS 1 032 397 relates to the long sides of the individual luminous elements.
- the end faces are kept open.
- the luminous elements pushed into each other on their long sides are firmly clamped with the aid of a clip which can be plugged on from above, whereby an extremely rigid connection is achieved, by means of which tolerance deviations can only be compensated for poorly and costly.
- the generic lamp arrangement is known from US-PS 2,316,404. Centering tabs and centering slots are alternately formed in the end parts of lamp bodies. An exact alignment of the lamp body is only possible to an extremely small extent because the centering tabs are hook-like and the adjacent headband area is designed to engage behind.
- the individual luminaire bodies are lined up in series by inserting the two centering tabs formed on the adjoining end parts into the centering slot and by a transverse displacement, by means of which the rear grip and an almost seamless arrangement are achieved.
- the adjoining end parts of the lamp body are also connected with the help of horizontally extending screws, which makes assembly difficult and time-consuming.
- the invention has for its object to make the manufacture of luminaire arrangements more efficient and to design the luminaire body so that they can be connected to variably designed luminaire arrangements by simple handling and without lateral displacement.
- the invention is based on luminaire bodies with centerable plug connections.
- the plug connections are formed in the end parts for the production of light or light strips. It is also possible to arrange the plug connections in the side parts in order to be able to connect the lamp body parallel to the longitudinal axes. A wide variety of geometric figures can thus be designed.
- the securing element is inserted into the centering tab from the light exit side and actuated after the centering tab has been received in the adjacent centering slot.
- centering tab and a centering slot By forming a centering tab and a centering slot on and in a surface to be connected as well as in a common plane, expediently halfway up and in the peripheral areas of the surfaces, which form two plug connections with a corresponding surface of the second lamp body, self-centering assembly is ensured.
- Centering lugs projecting horizontally from the outer surfaces and horizontally arranged centering slots are advantageous since, compared to vertically running centering lugs and slots, they enable a wider support and consequently a better alignment and centering of the lamp body.
- the centering tabs can be designed for positive and non-positive reception in the centering slots.
- the centering tab inserted into the centering slot is fixed by a securing element, as a result of which the luminaire body can be centered more precisely.
- the securing element which can be wedge-shaped or at least have a wedge-shaped area, can be inserted into the plug connection in the vertical direction from the light exit side of the lamp body.
- the centering tabs are therefore expediently provided with a complementary design or, in the case of a securing element provided with a double wedge or designed as a double wedge, with two complementarily designed recesses.
- a preferred securing element which is produced inexpensively from a stamped part, has a horizontal, rectangular or square base area, a vertical contact surface lying against the surface to be connected and two side surfaces provided with lower holding areas and extending obliquely up to one or two wedge tips.
- a double wedge can be formed in a particularly simple manner if a recess with parallel side edges is formed in the upper region of the contact surface.
- a securing element that is held captive for example a securing element guided in the area of a centering slot
- An expedient training sees a guide slot running in the middle and at right angles to the centering slot in a surface to be connected, e.g. in the end faces, which is designed to receive a guide surface and / or a holding element of the securing element.
- the guide surface can be a raised region of the contact surface formed during the stamping process.
- the holding element can be designed as a rivet or as an expansion element.
- An advantage of the displaceable, wedge-shaped securing element, which is held below a centering slot, is the fact that pre-assembly is possible.
- the end parts can already be equipped with the captive securing element before they are inserted or welded to the side parts and to an upper part of a lamp body. Connecting like that A designed luminaire body on site requires considerably less time and skill, so that the assembly process is particularly simple and efficient.
- the horizontal direction of action of the vertically adjustable locking wedge is essential. This also makes the alignment of the luminaire body easier and more precise.
- a further improvement of the assembly process is achieved if the, for example, wedge-shaped securing element is inserted into the recesses of the inserted centering lug with the aid of a fastening element and / or a tool.
- a threaded screw which is held vertically and centrally in the securing element, can preferably be used as the fastening element.
- the threaded screw is screwed, for example, into the base of the securing element.
- the threaded screw can be actuated from the light exit side and thus easily accessible and screwed into a hole provided in the centering bracket.
- the securing element is adjusted vertically and, in operative connection with the plug connection, the luminaire body is braced horizontally. If a self-tapping screw or a self-tapping screw is used, there is no need for a pre-drilled hole in the centering bracket. In connection with the securing element and the self-centering plug-in connections, this vertically actuated fastening element ensures a further rationalization of the assembly process while at the same time improving the alignment of the lamp body.
- Figure 1 shows a perspective and simplified representation of a lamp body 3, which has two almost parallel longitudinal parts 12 and an upper part 14 and two end parts 4, 5 as a housing.
- the end parts 4, 5 are provided with horizontal and mutually arranged centering brackets 20, 21 and centering slots 15, 16, such that when a plurality of lamp bodies 3 are arranged in series, two plug connections are formed and consequently a self-centering connection takes place.
- an end part 5 is shown, which is made of sheet steel and by a stamping process.
- the centering slot 15 and the centering tab 20 are formed in edge regions and close to a horizontal center line.
- the centering tab 20 is a punched-out part bent at right angles with two parallel, rectangular recesses 23, 24 for receiving a securing element 30 (see FIGS. 5 to 11) and with a centrally formed bore 26 into which a fastening element 50 (see FIG. 11 ) can be screwed in.
- Front insertion bevels 27, 28 facilitate the insertion of the centering tab 20 into an almost complementary centering slot 15.
- the front part 5 is provided in the region of the centering slot 15 with a vertically running guide slot 13 in which a securing element 30 can be arranged so that it cannot be lost and can be displaced vertically to fix the plug connection (FIG. 11).
- the front part also has various recesses for cable routing, lamp holders and the like, as well as a receptacle 18 for the reflectors.
- the front part 5 can be connected, in particular welded, to the longitudinal lamp body parts 12, 14 via upper fastening surfaces 8 and lateral fastening flanges 9.
- FIG. 5 to 9 show a securing element 30 with a double wedge 39 which can be inserted into the recesses 23, 24 of the centering tab 20, 21 to fix a plug connection 10, 11 (Fig. 10 and 11).
- the securing element 30 is punched out of a 1 mm thick steel sheet in the form shown in FIG. 8 and after right-angled bends has a horizontal base surface 32 and two parallel side surfaces 36, 37 on a front contact surface 34, which have a raised guide surface 43 and is provided with a holding element 45.
- the edges of the wedge-shaped side surfaces 36, 37 extending from a lower holding area 35 have a locking toothing 38 in order to improve the holding of the securing element 30.
- the double wedge 39 is formed by an upper recess 41 in the contact surface 34 and by the oblique side surfaces 36, 37 and thus corresponds to the geometric shape of the recesses 23, 24 in the centering tab 20.
- the base surface 32 of the securing element 30 runs parallel to Centering tab 20 and the vertical contact surface 34 abuts the end face 6, 7 (Fig. 11).
- the guide surface 43 and / or the holding element 45 are designed in relation to the guide slot 13 (see FIGS. 2 and 10) in such a way that captive guidance of the vertically displaceable securing element 30 is ensured.
- the bore 46 in the base surface 32 serves to receive a fastening element 50, for example a threaded screw. This is screwed in from the light exit side, for example with a screwdriver (arrow A, FIGS. 10 and 11) into a threaded bore 26 of the centering tabs 20, 21 and thus manages the connection of two lamp bodies by horizontal bracing.
- a fastening element 50 for example a threaded screw. This is screwed in from the light exit side, for example with a screwdriver (arrow A, FIGS. 10 and 11) into a threaded bore 26 of the centering tabs 20, 21 and thus manages the connection of two lamp bodies by horizontal bracing.
- FIGS. 10 and 11 show an interior view and a vertical section in the region of the two mutually arranged plug connections 10, 11, which are formed in the end faces 6, 7 of two lamp bodies.
- the mutual arrangement of the plug connections 10, 11 as well as the mutual fixation with wedge-shaped securing elements 30 and the bracing with the fastening elements 50 ensures a self-centering, aligned arrangement of lamp bodies 3.
- the captive mounting of the securing elements 30 with the aid of the guide surface 43 and / or the holding element 45 and the direction of action of the fastening element 50, which is guided in the securing element 30 and can be screwed into the centering tabs 20, 21 to wedge the plug connections 10, 11, is clear from FIG. 11.
- the fixation of the plug connections 10, 11 according to the invention, which can be actuated from the light exit side, is advantageous, for example with a screwdriver.
